After leaving the room, Aunt Er's heart was pounding.

"What's wrong with me? How could I do what Lao Liu did, hitting and scolding my child like that?"

The second aunt felt deeply remorseful for her earlier thoughts.

Xu Damao's imposing manner was not as strong as before, but he still gave the order to leave.

"You can come and stay with me!"

The deaf old woman's words gave Lou Xiao'e a glimmer of hope. Now that Wang Qiang was gone, she had no one to rely on.
