Xu Damao mysteriously pulled Jia Dongxu aside and asked, "Dongxu, what exactly happened to you yesterday?"

Jia Dongxu covered his mouth and yawned, looking at him listlessly and said, "Xu Damao, why are you being so gossipy! Do you have a cigarette? Give me one to perk me up."

"Okay! I'll give you the car when everyone goes out for lunch today! But once the car is ready, you can't not pay me back!" Jia Dongxu stared intently at Xu Damao.

His eyes were bloodshot from staying up late, which gave Xu Damao a creepy feeling.

Upon hearing this, Xu Damao could only shrug and stop trying to persuade him. He then took out a match from his pocket, gave it to Jia Dongxu, gave him a few more instructions, and left.

After smoking a cigarette outside the workshop, Jia Dongxu rallied his spirits and went back to work.

The steel rolling mill has taken on several big jobs recently, and their workshop is quite busy.

But the moment he looked down, he muttered to himself, "What urgent work? I don't think you're in a hurry at all. You just sit there drinking tea with your hands behind your back all day!"

Despite his complaints, he didn't stop working.
