Bai Chi couldn't possibly ask everyone to investigate another person for no reason. It just so happened that everyone was still investigating Wang Lin and wanted to find Feng Cheng through Wang Lin.

Bai Chi walked over, asked about some progress, and quickly browsed through the information he had found.

"Wang Lin is an actor, why does he go to bars so often? His stage plays require live dialogue skills. Wouldn't drinking damage his voice?"

Bai Chi saw the name of the bar that Xiao Hei had found at a glance, but this guy was quite cautious and went to a different bar every time.

The colleague next to me took a look and didn't think there was anything wrong.

"Going to the bar twice a month isn't too much, is it?"

Bai Chi didn't think so.

"Look at the bars he goes to. They're all mixed places, not the kind of bars where you can just hang out. As an actor, he still has a certain amount of fans. If he were to be discovered going to a place like this and be labeled as having a chaotic private life, it wouldn't just be a matter of losing fans, it could even end his acting career."

"Wow, the master is worthy of being an actor, he is more aware than others!"

Xiao Hei started to flatter again.

My colleague was also stunned, and then he suddenly realized.

"Oh, right? He's an actor. Isn't he afraid of being discovered by going to a place like this? Even if he wants to drink, he shouldn't go to such a dirty and messy place!"

Baichi immediately made the decision.

"Let's check the bars first. I suspect these bars are their contact points. Maybe we can find more clues."

"No, not yet. But I did find out that the father of these three brothers was imprisoned for robbery."

Bai Chi's heart moved.

"Which prison is their father imprisoned in?"

Their father was sentenced to life imprisonment and is not dead yet.

"Qingling Prison."

"Qingling Prison, Master, is the same place as the original owner!"

Xiao Hei and his colleague answered almost at the same time.

Incandescent clear.

"Contact the prison. I suspect Wang Mu might be hiding in here."

It was both an order to his subordinates and a reminder to Xiao Hei.

"Okay, boss."

"Leave it to me, Master. I'll definitely find it faster than they can!"

Xiao Hei looked like he was ready for a competition, he was so full of fighting spirit that Bai Chi couldn't help laughing.

Just at this moment someone came in at the door.

"Boss, the forensic department said there's a new discovery, and Doctor Chen wants you to come over."

Chen Yunxiao?

Bai Chi asked the others to visit these bars and investigate first, then check their surveillance footage, and then went to the forensic room.

The forensic room was relatively deserted, and even when you got closer, you could still feel a chill.

No wonder Chen Yunxiao was wearing such thick clothes even in such hot weather. Bai Chi seriously suspected that he might have caught a cold after staying in this place for too long.

After asking the assistant and learning that Chen Yunxiao was in the autopsy room, Bai Chi went straight over and put on a mask and gloves when he pushed the door open.

Chen Yunxiao was washing his hands in protective clothing, and the forensic assistant was pushing three bodies into the freezer.

Apparently the second autopsy was complete.

Chen Yunxiao did not let Bai Chi stay in the autopsy room for long. Instead, he quickly took him to the office and handed him some documents. He did not explain in a hurry, but just asked Bai Chi to look at them himself.

Bai Chi leaned on Chen Yunxiao's desk, casually flipped through it a few times, didn't pay much attention, put it aside, and then asked curiously.

"Forensic Doctor Chen is truly discerning. Could it be that he sent me lunch today just to come to my house for an examination?"

Chen Yunxiao couldn't help feeling angry when he saw how indifferent he was.

But he still patiently explained it carefully.

"I didn't go there specifically to check. They said you came back so early and probably just had something to eat, so I brought you food."

Bai Chi raised his eyebrows and motioned Chen Yunxiao to continue.

"You asked me this morning if I had noticed anything. I didn't know what you were asking about, but when I was pulling the curtains, I noticed some traces of things being moved around in your house, so I took a quick look."

His eyes fell on the documents that Bai Chi had casually placed on the table.

"I found a small amount of blood on the floor of your bedroom. After testing, it matched the blood of two of the deceased. Baichi, what's going on? How could the blood of the deceased appear in your house?"

Chen Yunxiao lowered his voice, and even while he was speaking, he was paying attention to the situation outside the office.

Obviously he didn't believe that Bai Chi was involved in this matter, but if this matter got out, Bai Chi might not be able to continue investigating the case.

Although he had only been at the H City Police Department for less than twenty-four hours, it was enough for him to understand how much Captain White loved to investigate the truth and solve crimes.

Bai Chi curled his lips, but didn't keep the secret any longer: "The suspect Wang Lin described is someone I often work with on cases. It's clear that he's targeting me."

"Since they were targeting me, they couldn't simply incorporate the appearance of someone close to me into the suspect's portrait, right? So I went back and looked for it. Those traces of movement you mentioned were found by me."

Chen Yunxiao looked surprised, but quickly calmed down.

"What did you find?"

Bai Chi's eyes darkened slightly: "The murder weapon!"
