Chapter 284 The Chosen One

India's land area is much larger than Pakistan's, so although Li Xuanzu intended to let Fu Yu and Ouyang Ningxue gain some experience, he only left behind three fourth-tier zombies and their hordes of zombies for time considerations, leaving the rest to be dealt with by the Blood Servant.

Because Li Xuanzu took action, even though India was much more severely affected by zombies than Pakistan, most of the high-level zombies in India were wiped out by Li Xuanzu and his group within half a month.

Amazingly, Fu Yu and Ouyang Ningxue had become much stronger again; at least, the three fourth-tier zombies combined were no match for either of them.

Indian leaders were less timid when facing Li Xuanzu, as if they had a trump card up their sleeve.

But he did not break his promise, after all, Li Xuanzu had done what he had promised him.

Moreover, his fearlessness in engaging in war with Li Xuanzu does not mean he can reliably defeat Li Xuanzu; in fact, it is possible that Li Xuanzu could inflict a devastating blow on him and then escape.

It was all for show, and the fact that Li Xuanzu was momentarily stunned during their conversation was something the Indian leader believed to be no coincidence.

After clearing out the last fourth-tier zombie in India, Li Xuanzu arrived at the Indian capital, New City, without waiting for anyone else.

The new city has a large population, with the vast majority of Indians living here, unlike the Dragon Kingdom which has established two safe zones.

The advantage of this is that it makes issuing orders convenient and the concentrated population makes management easier.

The downside is that resources are limited and the entire country is vulnerable to being wiped out.

When Li Xuanzu found the leader of India, he was in a huge, luxurious building, holding a beautiful woman in his arms. The huge table in front of him was full of food, and there were even leftovers and spilled wine all over the floor.

This reminded Li Xuanzu of an idiom from the Dragon Kingdom.

Wine pond and meat forest.

"When the hell did you come in? Didn't you knock?" The Indian leader was startled by the sudden turn of events, but quickly straightened his clothes, pushed aside the woman next to him, and questioned Li Xuanzu.

It's not his fault. Li Xuanzu really didn't go through the door. A pool of blood congealed into a human figure in front of you. Anyone would be frightened if they came.

"Take me to the blood bank, hurry up and get it done, then let's go." Li Xuanzu glanced at the Indian leader and urged him on.

He really didn't want to stay here for another minute.

"Hehe, what's the rush, young man? My country, India, was once one of the ancient civilizations. Don't you plan to stay and have a meal?" The Indian leader said politely, pointing to the food on the table and extending an invitation.

"Come on, you eat so well, but don't you see what the common people eat? Stop pretending. You're not good at governing the country, yet you want to use your predecessors' name?" Li Xuanzu had no intention of giving the other party a way out.

Along the way, he met with the Indian leader and witnessed firsthand the quality of life for ordinary people in the new city, including their food, drink, and housing.

In short, even livestock are treated better than this; they're all either skin and bones or look completely exhausted.

In contrast, the psionicists were all strong and healthy with oily skin.

However, the status of women in India seems to be particularly low, with female psychics being less than one in a hundred compared to men.

During his conversation with Indian leaders, he grasped a key word.

"Ancient Civilization".

Even though India's leaders had many grievances, they could only keep them to themselves.

Reluctantly, he led Li Xuanzu to the blood bank. Li Xuanzu did not hide anything and, in front of many high-ranking Indian officials, drained the blood from dozens of blood banks. The waste blood left behind had a more pungent smell than that of the others.

It was probably because of the food that Li Xuanzu, after seeing the state of the Indian people, had no intention of obtaining much blood from India.

With the zombies dealt with, Li Xuanzu met up with Fu Yu and the others, and they set off to return to the Dragon Kingdom.

... ...

"My lord." After Li Xuanzu left, the Indian leader stared blankly into the empty space for a long time. Then, a burly man with a bare upper body emerged from the shadows beside him, walked straight to the center of the hall, and knelt down.

His body was covered in various colors of paint, depicting many strange patterns.

"What did those three... say?" The Indian leader asked without making any move.

“This person does not belong to Blue Star, and those three are not absolutely certain of keeping him. Moreover, they do not know much more.” The burly man spoke, his voice surprisingly sharp, like a woman’s or a child’s.

“I was wondering when Earth would produce someone like this, someone who could possess such power on their own.” The Indian leader then stood up. “I wonder how the servants of the gods are doing in other places.”

"My lord, those three asked me to pass on a message." The man remained prostrate on the ground.

"Hmm? Is there anything they need you to convey? Speak." The Indian leader was somewhat shocked.

“This person is not to be made an enemy of; he would be detrimental to this ‘chosen one’,” the man said, disappearing back into the shadows without waiting to see if the Indian leader had heard him.

"You're becoming more and more interesting to me, Li Xuanzu, because you can influence things they all value." The Indian leader said something cryptic, then turned and embraced a pretty young woman, tearing at the little fabric covering her body.
