Four years ago, Wen Shu was set up and spent a wild night with a man.
Four years later, the man appeared... "You stole my treasure, and you still want to leave?"
When they got back, Grandma looked a little nervous. She glanced at Wen Shu and said cautiously, "Wen Shu, have I caused you any trouble?"
Wen Shu smiled and shook her head, "How could that be? President Li is very kind. He's willing to put in a good word for you, so you won't need to go there anymore."
Actually, there was no trouble for Wen Shu, but she did owe Li Duo a favor.
She was actually very afraid of getting involved with Li Duo, and any relationship other than Rou Rou's.
The matter of finding relatives was too important to my grandmother, so important that she, a person who was very proud, took the initiative to ask for help from someone she barely knew.
What else could Wen Shu say?
Wen Rou Rou took Wen Shu's hand and pulled her to sit down on the sofa, comforting her in a childish voice, "Shu Shu, sit down and rest."
Grandma smiled and said, "Why is our little Rou Rou being so well-behaved today? She even let Shu Shu sit down and rest."
Wen Rou Rou said very seriously, "Shu Shu has fainted."
Grandma was taken aback and looked at Wen Shu, asking, "Fainted? How did you faint? What happened?"
Wen Shu tried to cover Wen Rou Rou's little mouth, but it was too late.
Wen Rou Rou stretched out her chubby little arm and pointed to the bandage on her arm for her grandmother to see. "Grandma, Rou Rou donated blood, and Shu Shu also donated blood. Shu Shu is a girl, and she was scared, so she fainted."
Wen Shu quickly explained, "Grandma, don't worry, I just fainted for a moment, I'm fine now."
Grandma's face fell. "When you were little, you were sick and I took you to the hospital for a blood test. The doctor said then that your blood type was rather unusual."
“I didn’t take it to heart at the time, but no matter how special your situation is, you can’t abuse your own body. You donated blood and saved lives, how can you not care about your own body?”
Wen Shu held her grandmother's hand and pleaded, "Grandma, please don't scold me anymore. I know, I'll be careful in the future."
Grandma glared at her, "If you want me to live a couple more years, you'd better take good care of yourself before I can rest easy!"
Grandma said as she went out to buy groceries, "I don't know how much blood you had to have drawn, you need to replenish your blood properly during this period."
There was a knock on the door during dinner time.
Wen Shu opened the door and saw the delivery guy standing outside. "Wen Shu, right? Your delivery is here."
Wen Shu asked in confusion, "I didn't order any takeout."
The delivery driver confirmed the contact person and phone number, "It's you, no doubt about it."
The delivery guy left after I put the food down.
When Wen Shu opened it, she was a little dumbfounded. It wasn't a real takeout meal, but rather expensive tonics like sea cucumber and deer antler.
Wen Shu knew without even thinking who had sent this thing.
Could it be that he thinks I fainted while donating blood today and is sending me some tonics?
Wen Shu pursed her lips, unsure how to describe her feelings at that moment; they were, in short, very complicated.
After thinking it over, she still called Li Duo. "I received the things. It's unnecessary and too expensive. You should have someone take them back."
Li Duo replied, "You are Rou Rou's mother. Taking care of a child requires good health. I'm doing this for Rou Rou, not for you."
The food was delivered, but all he said was that it was all for the sake of the meat.
The problem is, these things are not for adults to eat, only for adults!
Wen Shu had no choice but to say, fearing that if she said too much, Li Duo would think she was being presumptuous, so she could only say, "Anyway, thank you."
After hanging up the phone, Wen Shu looked up at Wen Rou Rou, who was sitting on the ground rummaging through the gift bag given to her when she donated blood.
He picked out all the delicious food inside, "Shushu's, Rourou's, Grandma's..."
Wen Shu couldn't help but ask, "Rou Rou, what did you do today?"
Without looking up, Wen Rou Rou replied, "I went shopping, played games, and played claw machines."
"Claw machine? Where's the plush toy? Did you win it?"
Wen Rou Rou looked up and said, "Only little kids play with dolls. Rou Rou is a big kid and doesn't play with dolls. The bad uncle took them home."
Wen Shu: "..."
Immovable Mountain, Li Family.
Li Duo walked in from outside. Li Yuanqing looked up and saw that he was holding a panda doll. He frowned and said, "How old are you? Still playing with dolls?"
Li Duo glanced at the doll in his hand and said, "Who told you that I took the doll to play with by myself?"
Li Yuanqing tucked his short hair behind his ear, glanced at him, and said, "Why have you been talking like you've taken a bullet lately? You're always so aggressive when you talk to someone. It's rare for you to come back to Immovable Mountain, and this is your attitude?"
Li Duo looked up. "I'm at home, I can say whatever I want, why do you have to interfere? Don't you have too many things to meddle in?"
Li Duo was being sarcastic about Li Yuanqing always acting as the vanguard in the family, always bouncing around everywhere.
Before Li Yuanqing could speak, Li Duo took the doll and went directly to Third Grandmother.
Grandma Li was a little surprised to see him return. "How come you have time to come back, Aduo? You've always been so busy, seeing so many people every day."
Li Duo sat down next to his third grandmother. "No matter how busy I am, I still find time to come back and see you."
Grandma San's gaze fell on the doll in his hands, and she stretched out her arms to hug it from afar. "You've come all this way, why did you bring me a doll? Do you think Grandma San is a child?"
Li Duo then realized that he had been holding the doll the whole time.
He handed it to his third grandmother, saying, "If I don't come back one day and you miss me, at least the baby can keep you company."
Grandma Li immediately laughed, "Of all the Li family members, A-duo is the most filial."
But in reality, Third Grandmother didn't like Li Duo at all from the beginning.
Because Li Duo was an illegitimate child, in the eyes of the Third Grandmother, an illegitimate child like Li Duo was not worthy of entering the Li family.
