Four years ago, Wen Shu was set up and spent a wild night with a man.
Four years later, the man appeared... "You stole my treasure, and you still want to leave?"
Wen Shu was furious. She took Rou Rou's hand and went home, only to find that her grandmother was not home.
"Grandma isn't home." Wen Rou Rou raised her chubby little face.
Wen Shu responded. Her grandmother's legs could only walk for ten minutes before she had to rest. Wen Shu wouldn't let her pick up Rou Rou. Where had she gone?
She was a little anxious and wanted to call her grandmother. Just as she took out her phone, she heard a noise at the door.
"Shushu is back?"
It was my grandmother's voice.
Wen Shu rushed out and saw her grandmother being helped in by a young man.
"Grandma, where did you go?"
"I went out for a walk, but my leg just won't do." Grandma turned around and looked at the young man who was helping her with a smile. "Shushu, this is Xiao Zhong. I couldn't walk anymore on the way, so he brought me back."
Zhong Xuyan smiled and said, "Grandma, don't mention it. It was nothing."
Wen Shu stood with her back to the light, her face as pure and beautiful as a peach blossom, her anxious eyes filled with tears.
Zhong Xuyan was instantly amazed.
Seeing her grandmother's swollen legs, Wen Shu quickly helped her sit down. "Grandma, how could you run around like that?"
Zhong Xuyan coughed lightly, "The old man has probably been staying at home for too long and wants to get away for a while."
Wen Shu nodded to him. "Thank you."
Zhong Xuyan smiled and said, "You're welcome."
Grandma waved to him: "It's so far away, Xiao Zhong helped me deliver the return gift. Shushu, pour them a glass of water."
Wen Shu invited Zhong Xuyan into the house. She went to the kitchen to pour some water and came out. "It's a little hot, please be careful."
"Thanks."
Wen Rou Rou sat obediently beside him, holding a big banana in her hands and eating it, glancing at him curiously.
Zhong Xuyan smiled and said, "The little brother is really handsome."
Wen Rou Rou: "Brother is handsome too."
Wen Shu was cooking in the kitchen when her grandmother asked her questions as usual.
They practically dug up Zhong Xuyan's entire family history, down to the eighteenth generation.
After learning about the situation, the grandmother was very disappointed. She thought, "Children from wealthy families like this are no good."
Shushu is still chubby.
After finishing her glass of water, Grandma smiled and said, "Little Zhong, the food we cook in our humble home might not suit your taste, so we won't keep you for dinner. Thank you so much for today."
This was a clear indication that he was being asked to leave, and Zhong Xuyan naturally understood it. "Then I'll head back now."
Wen Shu peeked out and said, "Take care."
Aunt Zhang from next door saw it from the doorway and curled her lip. "Wen Shu is such a vixen. She's hooked up with another one."
Wen Shu received a job interview invitation in the morning, but just as she was about to go, the company called again to say that the interview had been canceled.
Wen Shu couldn't help but ask why, and the other party said meaningfully, "I'm sorry, I just received a report that you were fired from your previous job because of resume fraud..."
Wen Shu knew that Zhong Wanwan was behind it all.
The unconventional carrot has made a comeback, appearing at the anniversary celebration event downstairs in the Li's Building.
At the entrance of the building, carrots bounced merrily, attracting many people to take photos with them.
After the carrots ripened, Wen Shu rarely showed her face in public, for fear of being recognized by acquaintances.
A silver Bentley Flying Spur stopped at the entrance, and Li Duo got out of the car, entering the building surrounded by a group of people.
He glanced at the carrot as he passed by.
Wen Shu saw it through the vent: "Look at your mother, hurry up and return her things!"
At lunchtime, Wen Shu and several others who had agreed to wear mascot costumes ate in a corner of the hall.
It's cool inside, so it's nice and refreshing.
Halfway through the meal, someone suddenly spoke up: "You are... Miss Wen, right?"
Wen Shu looked up. Wasn't this Mr. Zhong, the one who took her grandmother home last night?
She reached up and wiped the sweat from her forehead. "Mr. Zhong?"
Zhong Xuyan looked her over, "Miss Wen, this is..."
Wen Shu replied magnanimously, "This is my job."
Zhong Xuyan was taken aback for a moment, "That's good too. I didn't expect to run into you here."
Wen Shu nodded, "I didn't expect that either." After a pause, she added, "Could you please do me a favor?"
Zhong Xuyan's spirits lifted. "Go on," he said.
Wen Shu said, "I recently lost my job and I don't want my grandmother to know that I haven't found a job."
Zhong Xuyan nodded, "Okay, I won't say anything. I'll be going now."
Take care.
Wen Shu had just taken two bites when that annoying person arrived.
"Oh my, I was wondering why you looked so familiar, it's you!"
Zhong Wanwan was dressed exquisitely in the latest fashion. "Why are you doing this? It must be very hot wearing this in this weather, right?"
Wen Shu ignored her.
Zhong Wanwan then said, "Why didn't you take the good job that Aunt Su introduced to you? Did you do something shady and couldn't continue working there?"
Wen Shu threw the soup at him, "You want to stand up for your aunt? Then we can have a good talk and see who did the shameful thing."
Ignoring the soup splattered on her skirt, Zhong Wanwan said righteously, "Wen Shu, you caused my aunt to have a stroke and be hospitalized, and now you're trying to shift the blame? How vicious you are!"
Wen Shu stood up. "I was eating my meal in peace, and you had to jump out and disgust me? Why are all the relatives and friends of the Zhong family like this? You're disgusting people without even realizing it, and you think you're so likable?"
She was in a bad mood. She hadn't gotten back something important, couldn't find a decent job, and even when she did get an interview, Zhong Wanwan ruined it.
Wen Shu slammed the lunchbox in her hand down and walked up to Zhong Wanwan. "That night at the Zhong family's house, your so-called uncle asked me what my demands were. What did I say? Didn't I say that I hoped no one connected to the Zhong family would ever appear in front of me again? Are you deaf or just asking for trouble? Are you just asking for a beating?"
Zhong Wanwan involuntarily took a step back. "What are you doing? Are you trying to hit me?"
She took a step back, slowly curled the corners of her lips into a smile, turned around to look behind her, and shouted loudly, "Where are the security guards?"
The duty manager recognized her; he knew she was President Li's niece. "Ms. Zhong, is there anything I can help you with?"
Zhong Wanwan looked at the duty manager and said, "I want to file a complaint. She is eating here in public, and the smell of the soup is of poor quality. It affects the building environment and gives visitors a very bad experience."
The duty manager looked at the person dressed in a mascot costume and knew that he was a person hired by the building to celebrate and attract customers.
Between Mr. Li's niece and the lowly laborer, the duty manager chose Mr. Li's niece without hesitation.
"Miss Zhong, please rest assured, I will take care of them immediately!"
The duty manager called over the security captain and pointed at those people, saying, "Ms. Zhong said that her eating here is affecting the building's environment. Get her out!"
The security captain immediately came over to shoo them away, saying, "Hey, you can't eat here. What kind of place is this?"
He saw that Wen Shu was pretty in the morning and asked for her contact information, but he pretended to be aloof and refused to give it to her.
The security captain, who had been holding a grudge all morning, seized the opportunity to vent his anger, grabbed Wen Shu's belongings and threw them at the door, shouting, "I've disliked you for a long time, get out!"
