Four years ago, Wen Shu was set up and spent a wild night with a man.
Four years later, the man appeared... "You stole my treasure, and you still want to leave?"
Wen Shu looked up at Li Duo and could tell from his face that he wasn't joking; he really wanted her to jump.
"I can't dance..."
"Weren't you just dancing around quite enthusiastically?"
He leaned back on the sofa, his long arm draped over the backrest. "I want to see."
He uttered three words casually, his tone calm, but to her ears, they were filled with domineering power, brooking no argument.
Wen Shu moved her lips, "Mr. Li..."
"My patience is limited."
Wen Shu bit her lower lip, stood up, and wanted to put the radish greens on her head so that she wouldn't have to see his face and perhaps it wouldn't be so embarrassing.
Li Duo then said, "No need for that, this is fine."
Wen Shu looked at him, her face flushed red.
Li Duo raised an eyebrow, revealing an impatient expression.
Wen Shu bit her lower lip, feeling increasingly ashamed.
"Do we really have to jump?"
What do you think?
He almost forced Wen Shu to cry.
She took out her phone, unplugged her earphones, turned on the speakerphone, stood in the open space, parted her two tendrils, and shakily raised one arm.
Li Duo: "???"
"So you even added music to your own music?"
Wen Shu looked like she was about to cry.
As the music played, she turned around on the spot, jumped, faced Li Duo, and began to dance.
Li Duo initially suspected that she was just dancing randomly, but then he discovered that she was actually keeping the rhythm with the music.
He swung his chubby legs while his hands were still waving flowers.
The music lasted only a minute and a half, but Wen Shu felt that time was forever.
After she finished dancing, she wished she could just smash her head against the floor and die; her limbs felt numb.
She looked at Li Duo and saw that he was covering his face with his hand and his shoulders were shaking.
It was obvious without even thinking that Li Duo was smiling.
Now Wen Shu's tears truly flowed, a mixture of humiliation and indignation.
She wiped away her tears, picked up her phone, grabbed the radish greens, and was about to leave.
"It really pleased me. I'll increase it to ten thousand."
Wen Shu's hand had already touched the doorknob, but when she heard those words, she stopped.
One, ten thousand?
Li Duo remained seated, not moving. "Don't want to work?"
Wen Shu turned around and went back. "I want to do it."
Li Duo looked up at her and saw that her eyes were indeed red. He had seen all her disheveled moments and knew that it was not easy to make her cry.
He reached out his hand to her, "Come here."
Wen Shu walked over in silence.
Li Duo asked, "You danced quite well, but it was too childish. Was it just to fool your son?"
"Um."
"Does it have a name?"
Wen Shu moved her lips, “The Little Superman with Duck Eggs”.
Li Duo: "..."
Li Duo was trying hard to control himself and not laugh out loud.
Wen Shu shed tears of humiliation once again; the theme song of the animated film was called this!
He grabbed her hand and pulled her closer, saying, "Why are you crying? I wasn't laughing at you."
Wen Shu was filled with grief and indignation, but he didn't laugh.
What humiliated her more than being mocked was...
...
I was late picking Rou Rou up in the afternoon, but she wasn't worried at all. She was watching cartoons with another child in the guard room.
When Wen Shu went to the hospital again that evening, she found that her grandmother had been moved back to her original ward.
"grandmother!"
Grandma leaned against the cushion, with Li Er's caregiver and nanny sitting next to her.
The caregiver and nanny greeted Wen Shu with a smile: "Wen Shu is back?"
Grandma hurriedly said, "It was because Aunt Liu spoke on my behalf that I was able to come back and stay here."
Wen Shu glanced at the next room and saw that it was a newly admitted patient.
The nanny explained, "Grandma Er has been moved to a private room."
"Thank you, Aunt Liu."
Wen Shu quickly thanked her.
The nanny's gaze fell on Wen Rourou's face, and she said inexplicably, "A three-year-old child doesn't remember things, that's good."
Wen Shu held Rou Rou's hand and said, "Rou Rou, call her Grandma."
"grandmother."
Wen Rou Rou glanced at the nanny, then ran to take her great-grandmother's hand.
The nanny smiled and said, "This child is so beautiful. If any family had such a beautiful child, they would cherish her like a treasure."
Wen Shu nodded: "Yes, chubby people are lovable."
At kindergarten, the teachers all liked him very much.
The more the nanny looked at Wen Shu, the more pleasing she seemed, and she affectionately took Wen Shu's hand.
"Wen Shu, I've seen you busy with everything these past few days, all by yourself. You really need to find a man to love you, otherwise it's too hard being alone!"
Wen Shu smiled and said, "Thank you, Auntie, but I won't consider those things for now."
The nanny patted her hand. "How can you not consider it? While you're still young, find someone who cares for you. Wouldn't that be wonderful?"
Grandma saw through the nanny's thoughts, "Wen Shu, your aunt has a son who is a few years older than you. He doesn't mind that you've had a child. He works for a state-owned enterprise and has a good salary. You should meet him sometime."
Since her grandmother had already spoken, Wen Shu could only say, "I'll wait until I have time."
The nanny immediately said, "No need to wait, I've already told my son that he'll come to the hospital tonight, and you can meet him then."
Wen Shu: "..."
The nanny glanced at Wen Rourou again. "I heard from your grandmother that this child hasn't been registered yet, is that right?"
Wen Shu nodded: "Mm."
"Oh dear, having a child out of wedlock is such a hassle. I shouldn't have had this child in the first place!"
The little boy's chubby face tightened, looking a bit aggrieved.
Wen Shu's expression changed, and she immediately said, "Auntie, Rou Rou is the man of our family. Without us, our family would only consist of women, and that wouldn't do."
Wen Rou Rou's expression finally calmed down. She glanced at the nanny, then turned and touched her great-grandmother's hand.
