Chapter 3
"Where did this primitive come from? Get out!"
Joe didn't even have time to run; he was even kicked in the butt.
Not all Cohen people like the original man; he was just trying to find a relatively clean and warm place to sleep when he was kicked out.
As night fell, Joe had nowhere to go, and the temperature had dropped considerably, making him feel a chill.
"I want my bed, my blanket, and if all else fails, a coat and shoes would be nice!" Qiao rubbed her sore buttocks, looking like a lost dog.
He hugged his arms and shivered; his thin clothes were not enough to keep out the cold. He realized that the cruel life of a homeless person was indeed not easy.
Following his memory, he arrived at the bridge arch where he had first woken up. Although it was a bit dirty, there was enough space.
With a determined effort, he crawled inside, and instantly felt much warmer.
It seems the original owner of this body was quite clever, knowing that it was warm here.
The bridge was noisy with vehicles on it and the water roared below, making it far from peaceful.
Joe couldn't care less about anything else; he was really tired. He curled up and lay down, closed his eyes, and thought that when he woke up, he would be back in his original world.
As the night passed, Joe opened his eyes. The rumbling sound from the bridge reminded him that he had woken up in this strange world.
As dawn broke, Qiao came out and could still see the moon and stars. The sky was so clear in the city of this world. Qiao looked up and subconsciously searched for familiar constellations. He actually saw the Big Dipper!
So, what kind of world is this? Why is everything so similar to his previous world? Did he come to a parallel world? And in that parallel world, he was a stray animal? That's too tragic!
The giants here are relatively friendly to his species. In order to fill his stomach, Joe has become more and more skilled at begging for food by acting cute. He only needs to walk up to a giant who is eating and then watch him eat. There is a high probability that he will be fed.
With experience, he discovered that begging for food from younger Titans was almost always successful, while older male Titans might even kick him.
With his survival problem solved, Joe even cleaned up the bridge hole where he was hiding and stored the surplus rations the Titans had given him.
With food at home, Qiao felt much less anxious.
Night fell again, and Joe returned to the bridge archway. Under the lamplight, he saw three other homeless people around his dwelling. The dry food he had left in the archway had been eaten, and his dwelling had been stolen!
Joe rushed over and shouted angrily, "Hey! This is my place, my things! What do you mean by this?!"
The three homeless men weren't afraid when they saw Qiao Ye. They must have understood Qiao Ye's anger, because they also clenched their fists and waved them in protest. One of them even turned around and urinated at the entrance of the bridge to assert his dominance.
Joe looked at these homeless people who couldn't communicate, were savage, and acted like madmen. He simply couldn't understand them! Even animals wouldn't be this bad!
It wasn't until a homeless man nearly hit Joe with a stone that Joe slowly backed away, accompanied by the triumphant howls of three of his kind behind him.
His sleeping spot had been taken over by his own kind, and Qiao walked alone in the tall shopping mall, feeling lost and abandoned.
"Hey, brother, don't you have an owner?" A red-haired giant led a primitive man with a ponytail past. The primitive man saw Joe and called out to him.
This was the first time Joe had ever heard of another creature that could talk, and it was even wearing a well-fitting pink pet outfit. He was overjoyed and exclaimed, "You can talk?"
The Yuanren with the ponytail proudly declared, "Only those of noble birth and trained Yuanren can speak such advanced language. I am a high-ranking Yuanren with an owner!"
Joe followed him and asked, "You mean, we're primitives? Not human? Then why have we been reduced to pets?"
The other person looked completely bewildered by this question, and answered with the few questions they could, "Yes, we are the Primal People..."
His owner was already impatient. He picked him up, gave him a loud slap on the bottom, and scolded, "Be quiet! Don't go around talking to those wild animals on the street, you hear me? Didn't you learn your lesson from how you were beaten up by one last time?"
The ponytail retorted: "Don't hit me! If you hit me again, believe me, I'll bite you! Don't think I won't bite you just because you're my master!"
Joe couldn't understand what the giant was saying, but the loud slap shattered his worldview.
The ponytail stretched its neck as far as it could and called out to Joe, "My owner won't let me play with you, bye-bye."
Qiao Ye: "..."
He was once again acutely aware of the place of his species in this world.
However, the fact that there were other people of the same kind who could speak and communicate made Joe very excited.

With his red hair, Wei Liangguan carried Xiao Guai back to his friend's villa. As soon as he entered, he muttered, "Wow, this place is so peaceful. The location is superb, quiet amidst the hustle and bustle. It's so convenient to take Xiao Guai out for a walk! I'll get a place nearby sometime!"
The villa's owner sat on the sofa, his short, slightly wavy blond hair particularly striking. He put down his book, picked up his teacup, took a sip, and slumped like a lion just waking up. "I like peace and quiet, stay away from me."
Wei Liangguan untied the leash from Xiao Guai's back, somewhat displeased: "Ji Fang, what do you mean? Are you looking down on me? I haven't even looked down on you yet! The only good thing about this place is that it's quiet; there's no human presence at all!"
As he said this, a robot came over from the villa and brought Wei Liangguan a glass of water.
Ji Fang didn't deny that he didn't even hire servants for his villa. He preferred to be alone during his leisure time, with only two robots serving him. "Too many people would be noisy!"
Ji Fang lifted his eyelids and glanced at the original people in the room. His stare made Xiao Guai, who had her hair tied in a ponytail, feel scared. She immediately ran back to Wei Liangguan's side and asked for a hug.
Wei Liangguan said helplessly, "General Ji, your 'living Yama' aura is so strong that even my little darling is afraid of you. If I didn't have no other choice, I wouldn't want to send my little darling to live with you!"
Ji Fang frowned: "At most a week. If you don't come to collect it, I'll throw it out."
Wei Liangguan scratched his red hair: "You really have no heart. Fine, one week. I know you don't like animals, but I'll try my best to get it back in one week!"
Ji Fang mocked without any mercy: "They're just a few pirates. If you can't even handle them in a week, you might as well disband your Fifth Army."
Wei Liangguan didn't argue with him. After all, the Seventh Army under Ji Fang's command was truly brave. Ji Fang's SSS+ level mental strength alone had set a record for controlling the entire legion's mecha warships. The Seventh Army was nominally the strength of an army, but in reality, with Ji Fang as a powerful weapon, it was the strength of two armies. It was terrifying, and he couldn't compare.
He protested a few times: "Just a few pirates? You make it sound so easy. Fine, your Seventh Army is well-disciplined, you're amazing. But I hope General Ji will come down to earth and see ordinary people, and have some understanding. Not everyone is as monstrous as you."
Wei Liangguan went to suppress the pirates, leaving Yuanren's pet Xiao Guai in Ji Fang's villa. Xiao Guai watched his master leave with longing eyes, tears streaming down his face. He knew that his master had gone on a mission and had been fostered by other people's homes before.
However, this foster child is terrifying; the murderous aura emanating from him gives me goosebumps.
Before leaving, Wei Liangguan repeatedly gave instructions on feeding precautions, and finally, still feeling uneasy, edited them into a document and sent it to Ji Fang, only leaving when Ji Fang became impatient.
Ji Fang looked at the Yuan Ren hiding in the corner far away from him. He had no intention of taking care of him personally. He had never been good with animals since he was a child. Almost all animals would stay away from him in fear.
"What a nuisance, even a tiny creature like the Primordial Human gets seasick."
"Ling Yu, tell him to behave and not disturb me." Ji Fang called over the butler robot and transmitted the feeding instructions, which he hadn't even glanced at, to the robot.
"Yes, Master. I have received and read General Wei's feeding instructions. I will take good care of Little Darling!" Ling Yu's voice was set to a calm male voice, kind and gentle, obediently carrying out his master's orders.
Xiao Guai doesn't resist robots. He prefers robots to being with his scary owner's friends!
Hopefully, his owner will come back soon to take him home.

Joe took the risk and went to a lounge area in a shopping mall to rest. There were many people coming and going, mostly male giants. They were lying on chairs with transparent covers, and you could vaguely see flashes of light. This place was probably similar to an internet cafe.
Qiao silently walked to a corner with curtains; the room was indeed warmer than the outside.
A robot vacuum cleaner passed by in the morning and bumped into Qiao Ye. Qiao Ye was startled awake and saw a robot about his height. The robot scanned Qiao Ye's entire body from head to toe, then cleaned the corners around Qiao Ye and left without paying any attention to him.
A moment later, the internet cafe manager came over, looked Qiao Ye up and down, and then loudly asked the surroundings, "Who brought this 'primordial human' here? Pets aren't allowed in the internet cafe!"
The manager called out several times, but no one answered. "If no one claims it, I'll kick it out!"
Joe saw the giant take a broom and realized he wasn't welcome there, so he wisely followed the path the giant had cleared and quickly walked away.
Joe, who had just left, sighed. When would this life of wandering end?
He thought of the ponytail-wearing primitive man he had met yesterday and muttered to himself, "Do I really have to find myself an owner? Like my own cat, and live the life of a superior being?"
He pondered in his heart how to judge a good owner and then ask for adoption.
Based on his previous experience raising cats, he knew that stray cats only live for three to five years outside, but pet cats are different. So, by analogy, if he continued to live as a stray, the quality and length of his life would definitely be compromised.
In this world, is finding a giant to raise him the best option? If he finds a wealthy master who can send him for training, wouldn't he be able to meet other talking people like himself?
But how do I find the owner?
If you encountered a freakish giant, would you torture yourself every day?
Imagining a series of horrific and bloody scenes comparable to those of scam groups in northern Myanmar, Joe also decided to target the giants with primitive human-like features.
A giant who raises primitive humans, especially a primitive human who is raised to be plump and healthy, would definitely be a good master!
Joe also thought about the key points to consider when he arrived at the giants' house and how to get along with the original humans.
The word "mistress" suddenly flashed into his mind.
Isn't it incredibly immoral for someone to try and steal the owner of another person's pet?
