Chapter 4 Mining
Iron Dragon Girl glanced at the two silly baby dragons staring at each other.
It understood Galos's thoughts from his words and eyes.
However, Iron Dragon Girl did not intend to stop it.
As for the struggles between offspring, unless it involves life and death, it will not interfere with ordinary bullying and oppression.
Moreover...
The two baby dragons just eat and drink all day long, and when they're full, they just wander around the territory aimlessly, not doing anything productive. They should be given something useful to do.
As for the idea of driving hatchlings or young dragons to mine for them.
Iron Dragon Girl couldn't do it herself; while she was evil and ruthless, she also adhered to the rules in her heart.
However, it is perfectly reasonable for Galus to do it.
"The problem is, your 'mining slaves' also live under my protection."
Iron Dragon Girl's eyes gleamed, and she gently swayed her tail.
Under its gaze, the red iron dragon immediately said, "I will provide you with an additional ten-pound piece of precious metal ore every month."
"Can."
After a few seconds of silent thought, Iron Dragon Girl nodded in agreement.
"Thank you, Mother. If there's nothing else, I'll be going now."
"Go on, go do what you're supposed to do."
Galos turned and walked toward the two hatchlings, stopping in front of them.
"Samantha, Goldton."
After calling out the names of Red Dragon Sister and Iron Dragon Brother, Galos narrowed his eyes slightly and said, "Come with me."
Both dragons looked wary and did not move.
What do you want to do?
They asked.
"Of course, I'll have you mine for me."
Galos grinned.
"Why should I!"
The two fledglings vehemently refused, and at the same time finally realized that the mine slaves Garros had mentioned earlier were actually referring to them.
"Because I am stronger than you."
Before he finished speaking, Galos pounced on the dragon brothers and sisters.
Bang!
With a dragon charge, he directly knocked Iron Dragon Brother away.
When the two dragon scales collided, they sparked a dense shower of sparks. Garos' scales were sturdy and not a single one fell off, while Iron Dragon's scales cracked and even a large piece flew off. The entire dragon was slammed against the metallized cave wall, making a dull thud.
Red Dragon Girl just realized what was happening.
Galos then twisted his waist and turned around, his thick, long tail, covered with a layer of blade-like dragon scales, lashing out with a sharp whistling sound.
Bang!
The dragon's tail lashed out with tremendous force, slicing through a layer of dragon scales upon contact and sending the dragon flying like a tattered sack.
"If you don't obey, we'll beat you until you do."
Garros raised his chin and looked down at the two fledglings that had just been defeated.
"You bastard Garos, let me show you what we're made of!"
The ferocity of the two young dragons was also aroused. The tough and strong bodies of dragons allowed them to withstand Galos's attack without any apparent harm.
It roared angrily.
Two young dragons, one year younger than Garros, pounced on Garros from the left and one from the right.
With an age difference of one year, it would be difficult to achieve a one-on-two situation under normal circumstances.
but.
Unlike Garus, neither Red Dragon Girl nor Iron Dragon Boy had the awareness to train independently at a young age. They were like most young dragons, believing that they would eventually become overlords by growing step by step, so they were complacent and lazy, neglecting to train.
And Galus.
After realizing that dragons were not the absolute rulers and that the world was actually full of dangers, they began to consciously train and strengthen themselves.
"Hey, this will teach you a lesson."
Galos shook his neck and faced the two baby dragons.
Bang bang bang!
A series of dull thuds of flesh colliding echoed incessantly.
Just three minutes later.
The two fledgling dragons lay sprawled on the ground, belly up as if unconscious. Their bodies were covered in marks from being beaten by Garros. Their dragon scales were missing here and there, and they were missing several teeth. Even their dragon horns were bent crooked.
As for Garos, not a single dragon scale was lost.
Aside from some dust, the most serious injury was to his forearm, where the red dragon girl bit him viciously. However, because Garos's scales were exceptionally thick and hard, even though the red dragon girl's teeth ached from biting so hard, she could only barely bite open Garos's scales, leaving a row of small teeth marks, but not a single drop of blood seeped out.
Beneath the dragon scales lies another layer of dragon skin.
Before the red dragon girl could even bite into the dragon skin, Garros grabbed her horns, ripped open her head, and beat her mercilessly.
"My dear Galos, I look forward to your future performance."
Iron Dragon Girl flicked her tail, making a crisp sound, indicating that she was quite satisfied with Garus's performance.
In fact.
It had always admired Garros, a hybrid dragon whose talents surpassed those of normal dragons and who was exceptionally serious and persistent in his pursuit of power, possessing the potential to become a great evil dragon.
Appreciation is one thing.
Even if Iron Dragon Mother were to raise Garros for free, it wouldn't be willing.
However, now that Garos is trading treasures for food and shelter, Iron Dragon Girl is quite happy to witness Garos's gradual growth.
As for the two fledglings that were badly beaten...
Iron Dragon Girl showed no pity; instead, she felt they should examine their own shortcomings.
"Thank you for your concern, Mother."
Garros replied, then grabbed Red Dragon Girl and Iron Dragon Brother by the tail with each claw and dragged them out of Iron Dragon Girl's lair.
The two baby dragons were knocked unconscious by Garus and were completely dead.
Grabbing them by their tails, Galos flew to the lake in the center of the sinkhole and dropped them in.
Thump! Thump!
Countless water droplets splashed everywhere, glistening in the moonlight.
Galos hovered in the air, flapping its wings and staring at the lake below.
Just over ten seconds later, two figures sprang out of the water as if their pants were on fire, and flew off in different directions in perfect unison, trying to escape from Galos.
Galos flapped his dragon wings.
Under the cool moonlight, his pair of dragon wings were long and wide, with a wingspan of twelve meters, twice the length of his body. The wing membranes were extremely tough, making a rustling sound as they cut through the air. The edges were as sharp as blades and had a cold metallic sheen.
Whoosh!
The sound of the dragon's wings cutting through the air was like a piercing scream, extremely ear-piercing.
Garos caught up with the Red Dragon Girl in the blink of an eye, grabbed her tail with one claw, swung her around, and smashed her into the Iron Dragon Brother who was fleeing on the other side.
Bang!
The two baby dragons fell together, crashing to the ground and kicking up pebbles and dust, leaving cracks spreading all around them.
"Still running? I'll give you a three-second head start."
Garus folded his wings and landed in front of the two baby dragons.
Red Dragon Girl and Iron Dragon Brother both looked utterly hopeless, no longer daring to disobey Garus.
Garus then took them to his usual spot in the mountains where he often trained.
He has a keen sense of metallic minerals, and because he comes here often, he has sensed the presence of some metallic minerals, though they are located very deep inside.
He pointed in a direction and Galosler ordered both of them to dig.
The two fledglings were unwilling, but under the tyranny of Garus, they still submitted and obediently began to dig.
Click! Click!
The sounds of dragon claws digging into the rocks rose and fell.
Meanwhile, Garus repeatedly soared into the air, then folded his wings, letting his heavy body freely fall and kiss the earth, creating one deep crater after another on the ground.
This is a more intense form of training than Rishan.
——Sun and Earth.
If one doesn't control the height properly, there's a risk of falling and injuring oneself, so Galos doesn't train like this very often.
However, the Iron Dragon Girl's 'expulsion' made Garus realize that he would have to face danger alone sooner or later, and therefore he longed to become stronger.
Neither of the two young dragons could understand Garus's strange behavior, and while they were digging the mountain in a miserable manner, they tried to comfort themselves.
Red Dragon Girl spat out the pebble in her mouth and whispered, "Garos isn't very bright. He'll cripple himself sooner or later, and then we'll be free."
Iron Dragon Brother just smashed a hard rock with his dragon horn.
Shaking off the dust and pebbles from its face, it chimed in, saying viciously, "Not only will we be free, but we'll also force him to find ore for us and mine it for us!"
The thought of tormenting Garus and making him mine and accumulate treasure for him filled him with wonderful prospects.
The two fledgling dragons, who were mining, didn't even feel tired. A happy smile appeared on their lips, and their claws unconsciously dug even faster.
