A heartwarming daily life farming novel, occasionally also a passionate epic.
Spears spread across the wilderness like a thriving forest. Glorious knights march in formation, and countless bl...
Border mountain village.
It was drizzling, and several carriages were parked on the side of the road. Several caravan members and villagers were loading baskets of apples onto the carriages.
"Hey--"
They shouted slogans as the heavy fruit baskets were lifted onto the carriage. The carriage swayed and the wheels squeaked slightly, crushing the tiny clods of earth underneath and sinking into a shallow ditch.
"Come on, it's just the last basket left." A middle-aged man shouted, and the people around him breathed a sigh of relief unconsciously.
After packing the goods, the caravan members counted them again before preparing to set off.
"Jenna, we have to leave."
Standing on the roadside at the entrance of the village, the two girls said goodbye to each other.
"Have a safe journey." The black-haired girl looked at her friend who was about to leave, feeling a little reluctant.
"You, too, must have suffered a lot along the way. But you, I'm more worried about you."
After getting to know each other, Sophie listened to Jenna talk about her own experiences and became more concerned about her.
"It's nothing. I'll be back to school soon. I'm afraid I won't be back for a long time." Jenna said.
"That's good, study hard. In fact, I envy you for being able to go to Emenas. After hearing what you said, it really is a magical and beautiful place."
"Sophie, you can do it too. You are not that old. If you take part in the assessment in Clansia, it is not impossible for you to get a place." Jenna comforted her.
Sophie shook her head and said, "Don't comfort me. I know for sure I don't have that kind of talent. I've only learned a little bit from listening to you talk so much these days."
"As for me, I'd be content if I could live my life in peace."
"Ah, uncle is calling me. I won't say anything more. See you later, great hero Jenna~"
After saying that, Sophie ran towards the convoy, jumped onto the carriage, then turned around and waved goodbye to Jenna.
"Bye now."
Standing by the road, watching the Lake caravan going away, Jenna said softly.
Seeing the convoy disappear around the corner of the mountain road, she packed up her things and prepared to leave.
"Wait a minute, that little girl." A voice sounded from behind.
Jenna turned around and saw that it was an aunt from the village, holding a small package in her hand.
"You've worked hard these days. Here are a few apples. Take them and eat them on your way."
Although it was said that there were only a few, Jenna knew at a quick glance that there were no less than ten of them.
"You're welcome. Just take it. You're still young and growing. Don't get hungry on the way. You've been helping us these days, and we haven't given you much in return. These are just the apples."
"Thank you, Auntie. Actually, I am just repaying the caravan for rescuing me..." Jenna wanted to explain.
"I know, I know. They even asked if there was a doctor or something in the village. But let's be honest. Just take these. There's no need to be so clear about the details."
Seeing this, Jenna had no choice but to take the bag of apples wrapped in a bundle.
"Thank you, Auntie." She bowed her head slightly in thanks and said goodbye.
Carrying her long knife and package, Jenna walked out of the mountain village.
She did not go to the Red Gravel City in the east and take the airship back to school, but chose to go north, which is the direction of the Black Rock Principality.
Just now she told Sophie that she was going back to school just to reassure her. In fact, she had already made up her mind to return to her hometown.
She wanted to find a group of like-minded people to change the current situation of the Black Rock Principality.
Although returning to school, learning knowledge and improving abilities is the best solution in the eyes of the public.
But time waits for no one. If she waits until she officially graduates, it will probably be 3-4 years later. By then, the Black Rock Principality will probably have been devastated.
Moreover, by then, an absolute ruler would likely emerge within Black Rock, making change even more difficult. The current chaotic situation actually presents more opportunities.
During her time in this small mountain village, she also came across a lot of propaganda materials related to the founding of Clancy. As the origin of the West Wind Revolution, many people within Nied County participated in the battles of several years ago, and many pamphlets and materials were still preserved.
After reading this, Jenna had a lot of ideas, which gave her some confidence.
Great undertakings cannot be accomplished overnight, but if you are afraid to move forward, you will never reach the other side.
Now she is about to take this most difficult first step.
----------
After the establishment of the military academy in Need County, the first batch of students began training, and various supporting facilities and teachers were gradually improved.
After inspecting several times and feeling that things were generally on the right track, Loran Hill was ready to set off again, following the caravan westward to the border province of Cransia near the grassland, and then to Solan County, which led directly to the Holy Land.
After encountering the remains of the Twilight Age, she became increasingly curious about the origins of the angels. What were the origins of these unique beings, and what connections did they have with the major organizations at the end of the Twilight Age?
Why did she have such a strong affinity with the Angel Order? Was her current body a creation of the gods, or a relic of the Twilight Age? She desperately wanted to know.
Where do I come from?
The Spark Project is merely a product of the early Twilight Age, when humans lacked confidence. Why has it been preserved? And in the notice left in the system, which ancient organization did the committee represented by the Seven Virtues belong to, and what role did they play in the last years?
Everything attracted the silver-haired girl to that strange country.
