A heartwarming daily life farming novel, occasionally also a passionate epic.
Spears spread across the wilderness like a thriving forest. Glorious knights march in formation, and countless bl...
The streets were deserted with no pedestrians. Loran Hill walked towards the area that had been marked before.
The stone bricks beneath my feet were still slightly damp; it had rained lightly in the city the previous night, and the water hadn't yet dried. Compared to the past few days, the air seemed fresher today, no longer carrying that scorched, gun-smoke smell.
The shops around the street have not yet opened and are still under martial law and curfew. It is estimated that after careful screening, the residents of the city will be slowly released and resume their previous lives.
After passing through an intersection guarded by a few soldiers, Loran Hill turned to a street-side cafe, the door of which was also closed.
She did not go in immediately, but stood in the middle of the street, closed her eyes slightly, let go of her perception of the surroundings, and explored everything around her.
After a few seconds, Loran Hill slowly opened his eyes and looked at the cafe in front of him.
Although she didn't sense anything unusual, the biggest difference was that she couldn't sense anything inside the shop in front of her. It was like a black hole in her perception.
Sure enough, there must be something wrong. She thought so, and then a red light flashed, cutting the internal lock and pushing open the door.
The door that had been locked suddenly opened, releasing the heavy air.
She walked in and took a look around. There was naturally no one in the lobby, front desk, kitchen, warehouse, and lounge. Finally, she opened the door to the utility room and saw a messy room.
It seemed that these things were just randomly placed by the normal clerk. Loran Hill blinked his eyes, glanced at them, and then waved his hand. The floating wind cleared all these things away, revealing the original appearance of the room.
The floor beneath her feet was grid-shaped. She stomped her feet, but there was no echo.
Destruction is not her forte, Loran Hill thought, then squatted down, pressed her hands on the ground, and further sensed the scene underground.
Unfortunately, her powers were limited to wind and atmosphere, so her underground perception was limited. It would be much better if Brainard were here. For some reason, this thought suddenly occurred to Loran Hill. Although they had never communicated in the real world, after hundreds of years of unconscious interactions, they actually felt an inexplicable familiarity and intimacy with each other.
After a long time, Loran Hill let go of his hand, stood up and took a few steps back.
A sharp blood-red spear appeared in front of her, and then was held in the girl's palm with one hand.
He waved and spun the gun in his hand easily, leaving several traces of light. Like cutting tofu, the sharp tip of the gun directly broke through layers of the ground, and then sank directly into the ground as the girl projected it.
Several red lights shot out from the cracks in the ground, followed by the sound of falling sand and gravel.
After waiting for a while, when most of it had slid down, a hole about two meters wide appeared in front of Loran Hill.
She jumped down from above, her body slowly sliding down in the pit, and finally landed on a flat open space hundreds of meters below.
This seems to be part of an underground passage, leading deeper underground.
Loran Hill stood up, looked at the sparse and dim gem lights above his head, and slowly walked down the stairs.
The surrounding walls are made of blank gray stone walls. There is a small platform every few dozen steps to turn and transition. The entire underground passage is like a zigzag that keeps going back and forth.
She stepped on the stairs in her gray boots and could clearly hear the echo of her footsteps in the corridor.
At first, Loran Hill was worried that she would be discovered by the enemy, but from her perception, there were no living beings ahead, not even any guards.
After going down for hundreds of meters, an exquisitely decorated round hall finally appeared in Loran Hill's eyes. This round hall was like a small square, with a diameter about the size of a basketball court. The ground was made of white and reddish-brown bricks, with a female statue placed in the middle.
The statue probably looks like a beautiful young woman. She holds a moon-shaped staff in one hand and a small star in the other. Her head is slightly tilted back, and her expression seems to be gazing at the small star.
She wore a classic coat with a small shawl on the upper body and a short skirt on the lower body. She stood on one foot and raised the other foot slightly with her toes touching the ground, giving her a slender beauty of a girl.
Not far from the foot of the statue there is a small plaque with a beautiful name written in streamlined text.
Dorothy Aranta
Is this what Dorothy looked like later? Luo Lanxi thought so, then slowly walked closer, looking up slightly at the lifelike statue on the base.
The first time she saw Dorothy's appearance was in Lagertis's diary. Dorothy was still young at that time, only about ten years old. Then there was Dorothy's adult appearance after Lagertis woke up.
Compared to the petite Lagertis, Dorothy had grown up normally, and her physical age remained around 20. Judging from this, she looked slightly taller than Loran Hill.
After carefully observing the statue and finding nothing extra, Loran Hill turned his gaze to the surroundings. There were five doors and a passage. The passage was the direction he came in from, and he didn't know where the other five doors led to.
This place seemed to have been reinforced with some special means, and even her perception ability was limited, so she couldn't detect anything too far away.
She first approached the door on the left, which had a keyhole waiting to be inserted.
Although she didn't have the key, the girl put her hand on the door handle, ready to try to pull it, and then a familiar power emerged in her mind. It was Agatha's ability that she had seen in college, the secret.
