They took Yan Xi away quietly.

Chong Jiu grabbed Shu Jianyue and went after them.

Then, he put his arm around Shu Jianyue and walked directly towards the city gate.

Bai Dongyun glanced at Shu Jianyue's retreating figure, chuckled softly, and followed her.

Yu Chuan looked at him and shook his head again.

This piqued Bai Dongyun's curiosity. "I wonder if it's because I have some problem with you, young friend, that you've shaken your head at me so many times?"

Yu Chuan shook his head and said, "You're fine, there's something wrong with your eyes."

“My dad is very protective of his own. If anyone even glances at my mom, he will never let that person get away with it.”

Bai Dongyun's pupils dilated slightly. "You're their son?"

Yu Chuan glanced at him. "Can't you tell?"

The city guards sized him up and then nodded to let him pass.

Shu Jianyue felt that the name "Empty Saint King" sounded familiar. After thinking for a while, she remembered that it was someone Gou Yang had mentioned.

It is said that the Void Saint King ordered him to send people to Shengshi Academy to gather information, hoping to bring Shengshi Academy under his control.

Just as she arrived in front of the city guards, Shu Jianyue snapped out of her thoughts.
