The road grew narrower and more difficult to walk. Shu Jianyue carried Yan Xi, Tiankong carried Yu Chuan, and Zi Yu followed closely behind.

"Yu'er, are you sure this is the way?"

This is roughly halfway around the outer perimeter of the island.

Yu Chuan scratched his head. "I feel right, and it's getting closer and closer."

Yan Xi nodded as well.

Shu Jianyue looked at the cliff in front of her, then at Yan Xi in her arms, "Are you sure we're on this side?"

Yan Xi closed her eyes and sensed for a moment, then nodded, "It's this way, that's right."

Shu Jianyue carried her and flew to the other side, where they saw a cave that could only accommodate one person at a time.

Yan Xi pointed to the cave entrance and said, "Go that way, the feeling is getting closer and closer."

Sky stepped forward and said, "Master, shall I go in and take a look first?"

Shu Jianyue shook her head, "No need, let's go together. I checked with my spiritual power and there's nothing wrong, except there seem to be a lot of rats."

Sky paused, then opened its mouth in astonishment, "Young Master's father isn't a rodent-type spirit beast, is he?!"

Shu Jianyue slapped him on the back, "What are you saying? Yu'er and Xixi are so good-looking, are you sure their father is a rat?"

The thought that their father might really be a rat made the hairs on their body stand on end, and they couldn't help but shiver.

Sky glanced at Yu Chuan in his arms and shook his head. "It doesn't look like it, but why would a mouse be in a mouse nest?"

Yu Chuan struggled to get down from his arms. "The sky is really too cruel. Daddy is not a rat, and neither are we."

"Alright, alright, it was Sky who misspoke. Sky apologizes to Master Yu'er. Yu'er's father is not a mouse; he is a god-level figure." Sky breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Yu Chuan nod in satisfaction and stop making a fuss.

"Alright, let's go over there first." Shu Jianyue immediately walked towards the cave entrance.

Ziyu immediately jumped onto Tiankong's shoulder, otherwise he would definitely have been dropped.

Shu Jianyue took out a high-voltage flashlight from her spatial storage and went into the cave.

The powerful beam of the flashlight illuminated the inside of the cave clearly.

Yan Xi looked at the flashlight in her hand and asked, "Mother, what's that in your hand?"

"This is a flashlight, for lighting. It's many times brighter than that luminous pearl." Although she could see with her mental power, she just didn't like this pitch-black place.

"Mom, give this to me, I want to see it too."

Shu Jianyue tossed it to him indifferently upon hearing this.

Yu Chuan grabbed a flashlight and started shining it around. When he saw that he could clearly see the stalactites in the distance, he exclaimed, "Mom, this magical artifact is amazing!"

Shu Jianyue paused for a moment, but did not deny it.

It's good that it's considered a special magical artifact; otherwise, how would she explain the origin of the flashlight?

Shu Jianyue didn't know how long she had walked; it felt like an eternity. Occasionally, one or two mice would dart past, making squeaking noises.

"Mother, stop for a moment." Yan Xi looked at the stone wall on the other side of the dark river and said, "Mother, it's over there."

Shu Jianyue looked at the stone wall but couldn't see anything. Could it be behind the stone wall?

"You and Sky wait here for a moment, Mother will go and take a look."

Yan Xi obediently jumped into Tian Kong's arms, sitting on his arms on either side of Yu Chuan.

Shu Jianyue flew across the underground river and tapped the stone wall. It was very solid and did not seem to be hollow.

So she tapped it left and right, up and down, but couldn't figure out what was wrong.

Just as she decided to use her mental power to probe inside, a catfish as large as a hippopotamus rushed out of the underground river below, its mouth agape as it lunged at her.

Shu Jianyue immediately spun around to dodge, took out the Fushen Vine and swung it at the creature, throwing it directly onto the opposite cliff.

Zi Yu's eyes lit up when he saw the big catfish. "Can I eat it?"

"Whatever." Shu Jianyue put away the Spirit-Soothing Vine, glanced at the underground river, and seeing that the water was gradually calming down, she looked at the stone wall in front of her.

He took a few steps back, gathered spiritual energy in his hand, and after it condensed to a visible degree, swung it towards the stone wall.

With a loud "bang," the stone wall shattered.

An indescribable smell wafted over, and Shu Jianyue quickly stepped back to avoid it.

Having been deprived of light for a long time, the sudden bright light made him close his eyes. After his eyes adjusted, he looked at the person who had suddenly appeared.

His cold, stern face still held a hint of disbelief. "Jian Yue...?"

Shu Jianyue was also taken aback when she heard the sound of heavy moxibustion, "Heavy moxibustion?"

I looked around, this isn't a dream!

"Intensive moxibustion?"

"Hmm." Chong Jiu looked at the person standing outside the cave, and the corners of his mouth involuntarily turned up slightly.

Once the smell had faded a bit, Shu Jianyue went inside, took the flashlight from Yu Zhong's hand, and shone it on him. She saw that he was chained to the stone wall.

Chong Jiu had composed himself and looked at her calmly.

Shu Jianyue now understood why he was always in the scarecrow pose in his dreams, because that was the pose he was in right now.

"Father!" Yu Chuan and Yan Xi called out in unison.

Shu Jianyue almost choked on her breath, and looked at Yan Xi with twitching eyes, asking, "Xi Xi, did you call me by the wrong name?"

Yan Xi blinked and then shook her head. "That's right." This strong bloodline attraction is absolutely true.

Chong Jiu turned to look at Yan Xi and Yu Chuan, his heart churning with emotion, but his face remained impassive.

He was absolutely certain that the two children in front of him were his own flesh and blood; the attraction of this bloodline was too strong.
