Chicken feet delivery, what's not to like?
There were so many hands, countless eyes, so much blood, but nothing else could be seen.
I was already in great pain, and seeing this scene made me even more heartbroken. It seems that even the great immortal of Changmen and the old beggar can't afford to offend this thing, and it looks like I'm going to die here today.
Darkness spread toward me, and crimson blood stained the sea red. Countless eyes stared straight at me. Even more terrifying was that the filthy thing suddenly split open from the middle, like a huge bloody maw, revealing gleaming white teeth stained with blood.
"Give me……"
Give it back to me.
"This is... what you... owe me." This voice made one feel as if they were falling into an abyss. The great shaman of the Changmen family had also said that I owed a life, and if I didn't repay it, he would kill everyone around me.
The darkness continued to spread, and suddenly countless blood-soaked arms emerged from the mouth of that ghostly thing, rushing straight towards me like its own flesh. In an instant, they covered my entire body, pulling at me, trying to tear me apart and swallow me whole.
"Grass."
I had no chance to struggle and was pulled toward its gaping maw.
Just as I was about to be pulled into the mouth of that ghostly thing, something unexpected happened: the jade pendant tied to my hand suddenly shone brightly.
With a "sizzle," the countless bloody hands that had been pulling at me seemed to be scalded and quickly retreated back into the mouth of that monstrous thing.
After I was released, I endured the excruciating pain in my body, rolled around a few times, and put some distance between myself and that ghostly thing.
At this moment, the jade pendant itself pulled my hand and floated in the air, emitting a soft light. The ghostly thing seemed to be somewhat afraid of the jade pendant, and stopped in place, leaving only countless bloody hands swaying in the air.
"Ah, damn it, they all deserve to die!" The ghostly thing suddenly trembled, and countless eyes stared wide-eyed at me and the jade pendant. I could only cover my chest and watch quietly.
"Roar!" The ghostly thing suddenly roared, the sound coming from all directions, as if my ears were being deafened.
At this moment, the ghostly thing's already enormous body was covered in blood, extremely terrifying, with those bloody hands that had originally been attached to it.
At this moment, the severed limbs fell into the sea behind it like rain. The crimson blood was mixed with the severed limbs, which were densely packed together. The once calm sea suddenly began to churn.
Huge waves, mixed with blood and severed limbs, swept in, as if to swallow me and the jade pendant whole.
I looked up at the huge waves above, my face pale. Now I could only hope that the jade pendant could save me.
Outside, I lay on the bed, writhing in pain, as if having a nightmare. The jade pendant on my hand emitted a faint light that enveloped my entire body.
Right next to my bed, Shui Yanling stood holding a kitchen knife.
At this moment, Shui Yanling no longer had that pitiful look. For some reason, her already long hair had become even longer, almost touching the ground. Her beautiful face was tinged with an imperceptible chill, and her lips were a bewitching red.
Wisps of black mist surrounded her, making the entire space tremble as if it were being pressed down by the mist. Ice crystals even formed where she stood, and the air in the room was filled with a chilling cold.
The blood-red eyes, barely noticeable, were so dense they could suppress anyone, so desolate they couldn't reflect a human figure, yet they were as clear and bright as gemstones.
If anyone were nearby at this moment, they would notice that Shui Yanling doesn't look like a human at all; she looks more like an extremely beautiful and vengeful ghost.
Shui Yanling did nothing, just stared at me without moving, holding the kitchen knife. Her long hair, which could hang down to the ground, was wrapped in black mist and floated freely in the air.
But I couldn't see it at that moment. All I could see was the overwhelming waves of blood crashing down. Was I going to die here today? I refused to accept it. Why? I've never killed anyone. Why should I pay for it? My eyes were bloodshot. Even before the waves of blood hit, there was an immense pressure. I couldn't help but spit out a mouthful of blood, but my heart was filled with defiance. I didn't want to die like this. Using my arm that was floating in the air, I slammed my other hand hard on the sea surface and slowly pushed myself up.
"Pah!" He spat out the blood in his mouth, stared fiercely at the blood wave that was about to crash down, and, I don't know where he got the courage, he actually grabbed the jade pendant in his hand, clenched it into a fist, and swung it at the giant wave in the sky.
The jade pendant seemed to know my unyielding spirit, and at that moment it shone brightly, rushing towards the blood wave in the sky along with my fist.
"Pfft," the light from the jade pendant acted as a protective shield, protecting my body. The giant wave crashed down, and blood mixed with the severed hand slid down from around the protective shield.
The blood wave directly above the protective shield suddenly transformed into a ghost head, relentlessly tearing at the shield as if it wanted to rip it apart and then swallow me whole.
I felt immense pressure travel from my arms to my entire body. I felt like all the bones in my body were about to shatter, and the force pressed me down to my knees on the sea.
My resistance seemed to have further angered the ghostly thing, which roared and transformed into two ghostly heads, rushing towards me from the left and right.
With a loud "bang," the two ghost heads slammed into the protective shield formed by the jade pendant.
"Pfft!" Another mouthful of blood gushed out, dripping from my chest onto the sea. But I had no time to care about that now, because the protective shield formed by the jade pendant had been cracked in several places. In addition to the first ghost head, the three ghost heads were tearing at it frantically, and it looked like the protective shield was about to collapse.
