Delivery: Invincible Chicken Feet in the Underwater World

Chicken feet delivery, what's not to like?

Chapter 568

Just as she turned to complain, she noticed a flash of green light ahead. Immediately, several wind blades attacked with incredible speed, leaving her no time to dodge.

She and Freya each raised their weapons, assuming defensive stances;

Unexpectedly, the wind blade quickly disintegrated upon contact with the weapon, causing a violent explosion that stirred up the flowers, grass, and soil.

Jelu neutralized the explosion with a fire-based martial art unleashed from her drawn sword, while Freya was unable to completely withstand it and still sustained minor injuries.

Philsa charged forward, wielding his twin ice swords in a flurry of motion, forcefully shattering the remaining wind blades.

As the green light drew closer, its true form was revealed.

Both of them saw the swaying shadow clearly—it was a demon in the form of a young girl, her emerald green eyes staring at them.

Its pale body was enveloped by a curtain of wind;

Her thick, crimson hair covered half of her body, while the other half fluttered like flames in the wind.

The injured Freya saw the aurora pierce through the dust that rose at the same time, and vaguely heard him leave behind a sentence:

"You two can't see the Wind Blade at night, get out of here! I can handle Sherry on my own!"

Jelu was hesitating whether to intervene in the battle between Philsa and Sherry, but Freya ignored her advice and strode forward to stand beside Philsa. "I've figured out her attack pattern. I won't be afraid of her wind blades anymore."

"What nonsense are you talking about! Back off!" he roared anxiously. Finding no reaction from Freya, he took a few steps forward and rushed ahead.

Even in battle, Philsa would never intentionally harm her own father, as she would care about the safety of others!

Freya was certain of this. However, she didn't rush forward, but instead began to transform her magic on the spot. The crystal blade flashed with green light.

At that moment, Philsa felt his steps were much lighter than before.

He then realized that there was a magical aura affecting him from behind.

Freya abandoned her attack and instead cast magical spells on her companions.

"Go! I'm casting the spell 'Wind's Breath' behind you."

He thought of Sherry from the past. She had once assisted him in battle in the same way. Back then, the vortex of wind and the extreme ice were a perfect combination.

Not long ago, it was the combined efforts of Wind Vortex and Extreme Ice that killed Red Blade, the leader of the Midnight Slashers. Let's not talk about what will happen next.

He quickly regained his senses and continued forward, but the wind blades did not strike again, which puzzled him. However, Sherry's magical fluctuations remained constant and did not diminish.

Philsa's sword struck the phantom of the wind, but made no real contact. It was a phantom of wind created by Sherry with her magical energy; she seemed to know that Philsa could no longer see with his naked eye and was deliberately using her magical energy to confuse him.

While Philsa hesitated, he suddenly sensed movement in the night sky above, and a deadly vortex of demonic energy rained down from the sky.

It was a rain of arrows falling from the sky, its target not Felsa, but the ground beneath his feet, and even everything around him.

Freya and Gerald, who were far away, were too late to stop him, let alone warn him to be careful. The green-glowing arrow fell to the ground like a meteor, triggering an explosion like the explosives buried underground, causing the earth to churn.

The dust and mist were bluish-green, completely obscuring their vision. After a moment, silence finally fell, and the two were too frightened to utter a sound.

As the dust settled, Felsa stood panting, his untamed figure still unyielding. He had previously abandoned his twin swords, taking up a spear and desperately deflecting the arrows aimed at him.

Unfortunately, he still suffered a serious injury.

There's no mistake, this is Sherry's specialty, a powerful area-of-effect magic attack.

He knew that with such a vast distance between him and his opponent, he would only be able to continue being attacked. So he enveloped himself in aurora, rose from the ground, and tried to approach Sherry, who was hovering in mid-air.

However, once he reached mid-air, he discovered that the fluctuations of the vortex had disappeared. He then carefully discerned the remaining magical energy with his scattered magical senses and found that it pointed north.

Shirley appeared for only fifteen minutes tonight, showering the earth with a rain of arrows before ignoring everything and continuing her northward journey. Why did she do that?

No one could answer the question in his heart.

After Felsa landed, Gerald and Freya approached him. He shook his head. Tonight's battle was utterly meaningless.

Sherry's appearance was not intended to take anyone's life. However, when she was determined to kill, even a magic-fueled Philsa might not be able to stop her.

At that moment, he vaguely heard that a large number of alchemists were arriving at the scene.

A perfectly good back garden has been destroyed by a whirlwind tonight.

Jelu didn't ask any more questions about Firsa's previous battle, because she saw that he was covered in blood—especially his right shoulder and left leg, which were stained red.

Although none of the injuries were fatal, their disheveled appearance was enough to cause concern.

Without saying a word, she rushed over to help him up.

Freya lowered the crystal blade, recalling how Philsa had stopped her from advancing. It could be interpreted as him being concerned for her safety, right?

She asked herself this question. Then she stared at Philsa, determined to ask again: "I know you wouldn't maliciously attack someone! But... why did you..."

Philsa remained silent, unable to even utter "I'm sorry" at this point.

Freya waited for his reply, but was met with disappointment once again. Soon after, a large group of alchemists surged up behind her, all asking her what had happened.

Kelling squeezed through the crowd to meet her, and breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing that she was safe and sound. Freya gave a brief explanation, her face pale, and then looked back at Philsa, who remained tight-lipped.
