Chicken feet delivery, what's not to like?
...The martial arts technique that can cause such devastating damage to "steel" is not something that ordinary people, or even ordinary martial artists, can perform.
Lampard was also incredulous at what he was seeing, knowing that "Gaia's Dungeon" was an indestructible barrier.
The Obsidian Magic Knights did not stop their actions.
Instead, they sped up their spellcasting, making it seem only a matter of time before the dungeon was destroyed. Their task was to unleash a barrage of magical attacks on the enemy as he escaped.
Surrounded and trapped, Fan punched the obstacles with solid and powerful blows.
He first transformed all the fire magic power contained within him into scorching energy through the emblem.
After absorbing extraordinary energy, the muscles and bones of the body have surpassed human limits in terms of flexibility, strength, and even physical stamina.
Since fire magic cannot function at its normal level within the water barrier, why not simply use the magical energy required for fire magic to strengthen oneself?
Van's boxing style was able to cripple the kingdom's commander, Seidila, with a single blow in the past, so how could the stone wall possibly defeat him now?
He channeled his power from his waist, drawing the fire demon energy into his meridians, and unleashed his most powerful inch punch.
This boxing technique can unleash the most powerful explosive force in an extremely narrow space.
The dungeon could not contain the raging beast; a huge hole was smashed in the stone wall, and stone fragments flew everywhere.
Meanwhile, in order to deal with the enemy's escape, the knights had already set up magic circles in mid-air, forming "magic launchers" that had been aimed for a long time.
Upon spotting the enemy, the magic launchers simultaneously engage.
Magical projectiles of various elements, such as ice, fire, wind, and lightning, were fired simultaneously.
Upon seeing this, Fan immediately leaped into the nearest alleyway, using the buildings as temporary shelters from artillery fire.
Thanks to the enhancement of the fire demon energy, Fan's movements became much more agile, and he was completely unharmed. He did not get hit by any of the "cannonballs" when he dodged them.
But the dense barrage of magical projectiles was like a hurricane, instantly collapsing the building behind Van. He quickly considered a strategy to reverse the situation and launch a counterattack.
After looking around, he realized that he couldn't escape the enemy's water barrier anywhere in his field of vision, estimating that the magic had covered the entire city.
Obsidian had long anticipated that Van was a near-terrifying warrior in close combat, something Olina and Lampard had learned from in their previous encounter.
That's why they combined barriers and used long-range magic to restrain the enemy.
If Van wants to leave the barrier, he must defeat all the magic knights present.
The magic projectile's "hurricane attack" lasted only a few seconds.
But for Fan, who kept changing locations to avoid it, those hours felt like an eternity.
Seeing that the enemy's attack "fire" had temporarily stopped, they guessed that they were probably spending time chanting the second round of magic.
This was a brilliant opportunity to turn the tide. Van emerged from his half-destroyed hiding place and approached the enemy at lightning speed, vowing to destroy the entire enemy army with his fists.
However, this time he miscalculated. He overlooked the Obsidian Knights' archers.
Hundreds of arrows were poised to be fired, aimed at the live target that had run out.
"Second wave! Attack!"
To counter the even denser rain of arrows, Van was forced to resort to this desperate measure—unleashing all the magical energy stored within his body as a temporary barrier.
The barrier was only momentary, but the rain of arrows continued unabated, and the mages cast their second wave of spells, unleashing a large number of whirlwind blades.
Van was not afraid of the incoming arrows. Because he had previously used fire magic to strengthen his muscles and bones, and his skin had become tough, ordinary arrows could hardly hurt him. Even if they wanted to pierce the steel target and stay on it, it would be impossible.
The arrow left a minor superficial wound on Brahma before falling to the ground and becoming useless.
However, the magic whirlwind blade is completely different from ordinary arrows.
Normally, this kind of low-level wind magic wouldn't cause much harm to people.
If they could be launched in concentrated bursts or attacked in groups, that would be a different story.
The greatest threat facing Brahma was not a rain of arrows, but a "rain of knives".
Brahma's "physical hardening" is only effective against sharp weapon wounds, offering no immunity to magic whatsoever. Therefore, Brahma at this moment is not a target for arrows, but rather a "target for knives."
The hurricane formed by the whirlwind blades howled against the flickering flame.
The flesh was hissed as it was cut by blades of magic particle-level sharpness, causing intense pain.
I don't know if it's the body's mournful cry or the sound of a sharp blade tearing at something.
This pain is all over my body, and I can no longer tell where it is the most severe.
Obsidian's magic knights and archers simultaneously sniped at the enemy, while they had a third wave of attacks—swordsmen waiting at the rear.
The wounds piled up. Van's magical energy was exhausted, and he collapsed helplessly and painfully into a pool of blood. It seemed defeat was inevitable. Obsidian dared not relax, not even until the enemy was dead.
"Did he just fall like that...?" Lampard wondered if there was a trap, but anyone who had been hit by such a fierce magical whirlwind would not be able to stand up properly.
Unless they are "war ghosts" who have completely become indifferent to pain and death.
"Is this how I fell...?" Fan thought bitterly, unable to complete his revenge. His limbs were unresponsive and he could not move.
He tried to grab onto something for support, but couldn't. Blood had seeped into his eyes, blurring them...
In his final moments, he recalled his past experiences, scenes, and thoughts—
The coronation ceremony held by his master, Vanrexor, in the royal palace, and the insults inflicted upon him by his enemy, Elfons, on the battlefield;
