Chicken feet delivery, what's not to like?
Hearing Xiang Fei say that, I felt a chill run down my spine. What kind of people, or rather, what kind of hatred, could this be?
Under the lights, the cave ceiling was filled with swaying corpses, making it terrifying to walk underneath.
As we were walking, a corpse suddenly fell down and landed right in front of me and Xiang Fei. It was a male corpse, and it landed face down on us. Under the light, black liquid began to flow from the corpse's facial features, and the flesh began to peel away, revealing the stark white bones.
Fortunately, we both remained calm and were not frightened. We pretended to be nonchalant and walked over.
However, I felt my foot trip, as if something had grabbed my foot. When I shone the light on it, I almost jumped up. For some reason, the hand of the corpse that had just fallen had grabbed my foot.
In a moment of panic, I kicked hard, but with a snap, I broke the corpse's hand. Then I realized it was my shoelace that had caught on the corpse's hand. I breathed a sigh of relief, thinking the corpse had exploded.
Xiang Fei and the others didn't notice my unusual behavior and had already walked ahead, so I quickly ran to catch up.
"Hey, something's not right," I immediately realized, and found that even though I was running to catch up with Xiang Fei and the others, they were still ahead of me, and it seemed like they couldn't close the gap at all.
As a feng shui master, I didn't panic in this situation. I immediately calmed myself down and began to observe carefully.
Xiang Fei and Black Cat also stopped ahead, seemingly studying something, completely unaware that I had fallen behind.
I picked up a pebble and threw it at them, but to my surprise, they still didn't react. The scene was eerie, and cold sweat poured down my forehead.
"Could this be a case of being trapped in a ghost wall?" I thought to myself. I had heard villagers mention this before, saying that some people encounter it when walking at night, and everything they see is not real.
In this situation, you must not lose your composure; you must remain clear-headed, otherwise losing your composure could be truly dangerous.
He took out a yellow talisman, lit it, and threw it in front of him. He muttered a few incantations, then used his Tang sword to carve different symbols in the four directions around him before walking over.
Suddenly, a tremendous force knocked me to the ground. Just as I was about to resist, I looked closely and saw that it was Black Cat. Xiang Fei was also beside me. The two of them gestured for me to be quiet and pulled me aside.
Only then did I see that there was no one in front of me, only darkness, which seemed to be a passage leading in another direction.
I wiped the cold sweat from my forehead. This was really weird. I asked Xiang Fei what was going on.
At this moment, Xiang Fei and Black Cat both had extremely solemn expressions. "This place is very strange. There is a mysterious force disturbing our minds."
Is it a ghost?
"It shouldn't be. Even if there were ghosts, they couldn't disturb us. It's more likely that a strange magic array has been set up here, specifically to deal with people who come in. No wonder we haven't encountered any traps since we came in," Xiang Fei replied thoughtfully.
I nodded in agreement and looked around. “In this world, there is the interaction of Yin and Yang, which are mutually reinforcing and restraining, and the cycle of life and death. When Yang reaches its extreme, it flourishes, and when Yin reaches its extreme, it declines. The Yang world that people talk about is the place where the living live, while the Yin world is a place where there are too many dead people. The more dead people there are, the more Yin energy is released, forming a Yin energy magnetic field, which we can also call the Yin world. In the Yin world, we living people will be disturbed, or even lose our minds.”
Xiang Fei and the black cat nodded in agreement. Pointing to the corpses above, Xiang Fei said, "This should be closely related to them. If we want to get through safely, we need to find a way to eliminate their interference."
After saying that, they both looked at me. You should know that I am a Feng Shui master, and I know more about Yin and Yang than they do.
After a moment's thought, I nodded and said, "You two stay close to me, and I'll try my best."
After saying that, I stood up, took out a handful of copper coins from my pocket, and scattered three coins in each of the four directions. Then I scattered seven more coins in the middle according to the positions of the Big Dipper. This is called "Seven Stars Determine Yin and Yang," which was taught to me by Master Hei back then.
I lit a talisman and said in a deep voice, "Hurry up and run out with me." After saying that, I ran out as fast as I could, and Xiang Fei and Black Cat naturally followed suit.
I ran for about fifty meters before stopping. I shone my headlamp around and, sure enough, I had exited the corpse cave.
Ahead of us, the cave became increasingly spacious, and the headlamps illuminated patterns on the rock walls, all depicting scenes of the lives and rituals of the ancient Shu people.
We knew we were almost at the real tomb, and we became extremely nervous as the three of us walked over.
After climbing another set of stone steps, the space suddenly opened up before us. It was a huge man-made cave, carved into a square shape and about ten meters deep. In the center of the cave stood an altar made of stacked stone slabs, on which sat a blood coffin, exactly the same blood coffin as the one in the picture we had seen on the tomb door.
Below the altar, there were rows of stone coffins, like a pyramid.
At the top of the cave, fist-sized luminous pearls shimmered, arranged in accordance with the positions of the Big Dipper.
My emotions are running high; there's no doubt that this is the target we're looking for.
There is also a small waterfall flowing in the cave, making a gurgling sound, circling the central altar, and then flowing into the underground river.
Such a burial method was something neither I nor Xiang Fei had ever seen before. After our initial surprise, we walked down the stone steps.
In the dim light, the blood coffin on the central altar emitted an eerie glow, as if a ferocious beast lurked inside, ready to pounce at any moment. Its eerie crimson color sent chills down our spines.
