Chicken feet delivery, what's not to like?
Zhang Guifang exclaimed, "Thank you for your grace, Your Majesty. I will certainly not fail in my mission."
On the second day, King Zhou held a farewell banquet for Zhang Guifang, wishing him a victorious return soon.
At the Golden Light Cave on Qianyuan Mountain, Master Taiyi looked at Nezha wielding his golden spear, smiled with satisfaction, and said, "Nezha, the time has come. Go to Xiqi to help your uncle Shen Gongbao complete the great cause of conquering Shang. Go down the mountain." With that, he gently waved his hand.
Nezha was taken aback by his master's words and exclaimed, "Disciple thanks Master for raising me, teaching me martial arts, and saving my life!" He then kowtowed three times, tears streaming down his face.
Seeing Nezha's sincere heart, Taiyi Zhenren was deeply gratified. He helped Nezha up and said with a smile, "Nezha, you were born with the Hun Tian Ling and Zhe Tian Bo. Several years ago, I bestowed upon you the Qian Kun Quan. Today, I will give you two more treasures: one is the Thunderbolt Rocket Gun, which can produce a thunderous sound with a slight shake, a magic weapon containing soul-piercing attacks; the other is the Wind and Fire Wheels, which can travel 100,000 li in a single spin, a magic weapon of speed. I hope you will use them well. Go now." With that, he waved and sent Nezha down the mountain.
It is said that Nezha should have gone to Xiqi as instructed by his master, but he was worried about comforting his mother, so he rode his Wind Fire Wheels to Chen Tang Pass. Little did he know that this trip would ignite countless conflicts between the Chan and Jie sects. However, this was just bringing everything forward.
In the second year of the Shang Yuan calendar, in late autumn, at Chen Tang Pass, in the General's Mansion, in the garden, a beautiful lady stared intently at the stars, her expression desolate. Tears blurred her vision as she murmured, "San'er, San'er, I'm so sorry."
Outside the wall, Nezha looked at the tearful Yin Shi, whispered "Mother," and in a flash, threw himself into the woman's arms.
In her dream, Madam Yin heard that familiar voice she hadn't heard in a long time. She was delighted, and then a handsome young man rushed into her arms, calling softly, "Mother, Mother, your third son is back."
At this moment, Lady Yin and Nezha talked for a long time until the full moon set in the west and the red sun rose in the east.
Nine days later, Nezha nestled in Madam Yin's warm embrace, looked at her haggard appearance, gritted his teeth, and said, "Mother, I have been ordered by my master to go to Xiqi to help my uncle. I have already been delayed for nine days. Tomorrow, I will head to Xiqi."
Yin Shi was taken aback by Nezha's words. After a long while, she said gently, "My son has grown up. Go now."
On the tenth night, Nezha rode his Wind-Fire Wheels westward. After traveling only a short distance, his divine sense suddenly detected a faint fluctuation of spiritual energy. Though small, the fluctuation exuded a desolate aura, as if it had endured a thousand years, incredibly ancient. Nezha followed the fluctuation and saw, atop the pavilion of Chen Tang Pass, an extremely ancient and simple bow. Its body was as black as ink, shaped like two dragons playing with a pearl, radiating an ancient and desolate aura. The characters "乾坤" (Qiankun) were inscribed on the bow in small seal script. Beside the bow lay three small, exquisitely crafted golden arrows, their shafts engraved with ancient and intricate patterns, and the tips carved with the two tadpole-like characters "震天" (Zhentian).
Nezha sensed the desolate and tragic aura emanating from the Qiankun Bow and couldn't help but think of himself. He unconsciously reached out and grasped the bow. Feeling the surging power coming from the bow, Nezha shouted loudly, holding the bow in his left hand, taking an arrow with his right, nocking it, and drawing the bow. Instantly, all his magical power surged uncontrollably into the bow. Suddenly, there was a crisp "pop" sound, and the golden arrow, like a shooting star emitting golden light, flashed and disappeared.
Nezha thought to himself: What a great bow, what terrifying power! He put the bow around his neck, picked up the two remaining arrows with his right hand, and was about to fly away. However, before he had flown half a mile, he heard a delicate shout from behind: "Whose thief dares to shoot and kill my Biyun Tong'er?"
Upon hearing "Whose thief is this?", Nezha flew into a rage. Think about it, this person was killed by their own father at birth and never enjoyed a loving mother's care. How could they not be angry when you expose their shortcomings like this? Even if you don't know they are an orphan lacking parental love, Nezha immediately stopped, his eyes bloodshot, and fiercely said, "What woman is this? Did I shoot your servant boy? What do you mean?"
Seeing that the boy who had shot her child without cause not only refused to apologize but also uttered arrogant words, the beautiful woman was furious. Her almond-shaped eyes widened, and she shouted angrily, "What an ill-mannered child! I am the Stone Maiden of the White Bone Cave on Skull Mountain, a disciple of the Primordial Saint Tongtian Sect Master. Where did you come from, you wild child?"
Upon hearing the word "wild child," Nezha roared, "You shrew, if you want to know where I come from, hand over your tickets!"
[5 The End of the Primordial Era: The Consecration of Gods]
Chapter 131, Section 111: Shi Ji Dies, Bi Xiao Emerges
It is said that Nezha, under the influence of the Qiankun Bow, unknowingly shot out a tremendous arrow. The golden arrow pierced the sky and broke through the protective formation of Skull Island. Unfortunately, it landed on the crown of Biyun Tongzi, and with that one blow, Biyun Tongzi's soul returned to paradise.
Following the scent, Lady Shiji, the master of the Azure Cloud Boy, arrived and saw a young boy of about fifteen or sixteen years old about to leave. She shouted at him, but the boy not only failed to apologize but also hurled insults at her. Enraged, Lady Shiji took out a silk handkerchief from her sleeve. The handkerchief had eight corners and was embroidered with white clouds that emitted a faint golden light. It was Lady Shiji's magic treasure, the Eight Trigrams Cloud Light Handkerchief.
The Bagua Cloud Light Handkerchief, also known as the Bagua Dragon Beard Handkerchief, is a treasure encompassing all things, representing the trigrams Kan, Li, Zhen, and Dui.
Shi Ji coldly stared at the unbridled youth before her and said in a chilling voice, "Little thief, it's not too late to turn back now. As long as you apologize, this great immortal will spare your worthless life?"
