Haotian was also puzzled. Why did the Third Prince of the East Sea come to see him? He was nominally in charge of the four seas, but in reality, the prince never gave him any orders. Although he was confused, he said, "My dear minister, you may excuse yourself from the formalities. May I ask what brings the Third Prince here?"

Upon hearing this, Ao Bing tearfully recounted how Nezha had caused trouble in the East Sea and how he had tried to kill him. He also made some remarks, pointing out that he was a righteous god appointed by the Heavenly Court, and that Nezha, the son of a mortal general, dared to kill a righteous god of the Heavenly Court. He argued that Nezha could not have such ability without powerful backing. He further pointed out that since he was a righteous god of the Heavenly Court, Nezha's act of killing him was a disgrace to the Heavenly Court. These words forced Haotian to confront the issue.

Ao Bing spoke hastily, leaving Taiyi Zhenren no chance to interject. Taiyi Zhenren was sweating profusely, never expecting Nezha to be so mischievous. Just as he was about to explain to Haotian, a loud bang was heard outside the Heavenly Court, shaking even the Lingxiao Palace.

Just as Haotian was wondering what was going on, he heard this loud noise and sent his guards out to find out the cause. The guards came back and reported, "Your Majesty, the South Heavenly Gate has been destroyed by that naughty boy Nezha, and the guardian of the South Heavenly Gate, the Giant Spirit God, has also been injured by Nezha's arrow."

Haotian was furious. The South Heavenly Gate was the gateway to the Heavenly Court and its symbol. Its destruction today was a humiliation for Haotian. He never expected anyone to dare to do such a thing. Haotian was enraged and shouted, ordering the True Lord Longen, also known as Wang Lingguan, to "Quickly go and capture that naughty child Nezha and bring him here to be punished."

Wang Lingguan accepted the order and left. Before long, he arrived at the South Heavenly Gate, only to find that the South Heavenly Gate had been collapsed. The Giant Spirit God was lying to one side with his left arm broken, and Nezha was also lying to one side, looking dejected.

However, when Nezha first used the Heaven-Shaking Bow, he exerted too much force. This Heaven-Shaking Bow and the Qiankun Arrow were originally the personal arrows of the Human Emperor Xuanyuan, and were extremely powerful. Even Xuanyuan could not use them too often. Later, Xuanyuan ascended to the Fire Cloud Cave and became the Human Emperor. The Heaven-Shaking Bow and the Qiankun Arrow were left in the human race. For some reason, they ended up in Chentang Pass and were taken by Nezha. This bow was not made of ordinary materials and had been enhanced by merit, making it extremely powerful. Although Nezha had the cultivation of a celestial being, he was temporarily exhausted when he fired the arrow with all his might and collapsed outside the South Heavenly Gate, which allowed Wang Lingguan to take advantage of the situation.

Wang Lingguan had expected a fierce battle, but the outcome was unexpectedly easy. He immediately stepped forward, trapped Nezha, and took him to the Lingxiao Palace.

On the way to the Lingxiao Palace, Nezha was still unconvinced and made a scene. He had done the same when he first saw Haotian, saying, "You little old man, how dare you have someone trap me? Do you know who I am?"

Upon hearing this, Haotian's anger surged, and his face turned ashen. He said, "I truly do not know who you are, nor do I need to know who you are. Wang Lingguan, drag this boy to the Execution Platform and execute him to demonstrate the majesty of my Heavenly Court."

Just as Wang Lingguan was about to step forward and pull Nezha away, he heard Taiyi Zhenren say from the side, "Wait."

Taiyi Zhenren slowly stepped forward and said to Haotian, "Your Majesty, please calm your anger. This child was originally my disciple Nezha. I brought him to the mountain to cultivate a few days ago. He lacked discipline, and I was unable to supervise him when my younger brother came to Heaven. I did not expect him to cause such a disaster. I beg Your Majesty to calm your anger and forgive him for his youth and ignorance."

Only then did Nezha notice the presence of Taiyi Zhenren. He had been enjoying the fight, and had even shot down the South Heavenly Gate with an arrow. He was feeling quite pleased with himself when he heard Haotian say that he wanted to kill him. He was immediately alarmed, but then he was overjoyed to find his father there. He cried out, "Master, please save me! These people want to kill me! Master, please save me!"

Upon hearing this, Taiyi Zhenren turned around and glared at him, saying softly, "You unfilial disciple, shut up. I'll deal with you later."

Haotian had not expected that Nezha was Taiyi Zhenren's disciple. This created a dilemma. The Chan Sect, backed by Yuanshi, had always disregarded him, and even the disciples of the Chan Sect were extremely arrogant. In fact, he had nothing to do with it today, but Nezha destroyed the South Heavenly Gate, causing him to lose face. This cause and effect had to be formed.

After thinking it over, Haotian said to Taiyi Zhenren, "My brother and I are both among the Six Emperors, important ministers of the Heavenly Court. We know that the dignity of the Heavenly Court cannot be lost. This boy beat up the righteous gods of the Heavenly Court, killed millions of creatures in the East Sea, and even destroyed the South Heavenly Gate and injured the guard of the South Heavenly Gate. The Heavenly Court is responsible for governing the world on behalf of the Heavenly Dao. The dignity of the Heavenly Court cannot be lost. If we do not punish him, it will be difficult to win over the people."

Upon hearing Haotian's words, Taiyi knew that things were not going to end well. He was annoyed that his disciple had caused him trouble, and also angry that Haotian was ungrateful. He said coldly, "My master likes this boy very much. I beg the God of Heaven to forgive his sins for my master's sake."

Taiyi was about to bring up Yuanshi Tianzun to suppress Haotian. In Taiyi Zhenren's view, although Haotian was the Jade Emperor and seemed to be in a high position and extremely noble, he was still no match for a saint. If he was not a saint, he was just an ant. As long as Yuanshi Tianzun was brought up, Haotian would surely submit. However, he did not expect that he had miscalculated this time.

Haotian had long resented the various sages for disobeying his orders and disrespecting him as the Heavenly Emperor. He was the one who spearheaded the Investiture of the Gods, which had already offended several sages, especially the three sects of Humanity, Chan, and Jie. Now, Taiyi was going to bring up Yuanshi to suppress him, which was like directly rubbing salt into Haotian's wounds. How could Haotian not be angry?

Haotian sneered, “I was personally appointed by Dao Ancestor Hongjun to assume the position of Heavenly Emperor, the head of the Six Emperors, and to govern the heavens and earth, acting on behalf of the Heavenly Dao. Although Senior Brother Yuanshi is a sage, he is still within the Heavenly Dao. It is not that I am disrespecting Senior Brother Yuanshi, but Nezha has repeatedly committed serious offenses and has brought shame to the Heavenly Court. The Heavenly Court is an important place that acts on behalf of the Heavenly Dao, and Nezha’s actions are contrary to the Heavenly Dao. He should be punished, no matter where you look at it. Moreover, Senior Brother Yuanshi founded the Chan Sect to explain the Heavenly Dao to all living beings and to follow the will of Heaven.
