Chicken feet delivery, what's not to like?
...Xuan Tian stroked the Azure Lotus with admiration, his primordial spirit observing the situation inside through it. At this moment, the Azure Lotus had evolved into a supreme innate treasure, containing forty-five restrictions. The original way of life within it had also changed, and the way contained within the Azure Lotus was now the way of creation, truly on par with the Great Dao of Pangu and the Great Dao of Hongjun.
Xuan Tian exclaimed in admiration. All the previous efforts had been worthwhile. A Primordial Treasure! Of the eight Primordial Treasures since the beginning of time, he had finally refined one. It hadn't been easy. He had collected so many things to elevate the Azure Lotus. The supplements from the Great Dao of Hongjun, the Great Dao of Blood Sea, the Great Dao of Annihilation, and the Dao of Slaughter—all were Great Daos capable of achieving Primordial Chaos. It had been incredibly difficult to fully evolve the Azure Lotus. How much had been wasted in the process? Not to mention the three lotus seeds, the third-grade lotus platform provided nourishment for the Azure Lotus, and Xuan Tian extracted the law imprints within the sixth-grade black lotus. Now, although the sixth-grade black lotus was still Primordial, it had lost its original effects and was essentially just a Primordial Spiritual Object, its power greatly reduced. Moreover, the spiritual energy absorbed by the Azure Lotus was immense, enough to refine over ten thousand units of mana. However, it was truly worthwhile.
Xuan Tian couldn't help but speak up, looking at the Azure Lotus with delight, he muttered to himself, "From now on, I will call you the Twenty-Fourth Grade Creation Azure Lotus." As he murmured to himself, Xuan Tian stored the magic treasure inside his body to nurture it.
Overwhelmed with joy at successfully evolving his innate treasure, Xuan Tian turned around to look at the last remaining item: two halves of the golden body. These were the golden bodies that Zhunti had broken by Tongtian. During the great battle, Zhunti had forgotten to put them away, and Xuan Tian had picked them up for him, feeling rather embarrassed. In order to collect a certain amount of storage fees, Xuan Tian did not ask Zhunti and directly claimed the item as his own.
The golden body was cut in two by Tongtian, and the primordial spirit imprint left by Zhunti inside was also destroyed by Tongtian. Xuantian was naturally not afraid that Zhunti would cause him trouble, and generously considered using the golden body to refine something.
Xuan Tian glanced at the six-winged blood mosquito mouth in his hand, and a sudden idea struck him. Before acting, he took half of the golden body, melted it into liquid, and then poured the liquid from the golden body into the "Nine Treasures Tree" to increase the power of the magical artifact. This golden body was extraordinary, forged using the Golden Body Technique created by Zhunti. This Golden Body Technique transforms and condenses the karma imposed upon one by the Heavenly Dao into an indestructible body through a special method. This golden body possesses formidable defense, reaching a level comparable to that of an Ancestral Witch; it also possesses a powerful artifact for transforming karma; it can house the primordial spirit and manifest supernatural powers; and it can even be used to sever the three corpses—quite remarkable indeed. However, this Golden Body Technique has a glaring weakness: the Red Lotus Karmic Fire, which specifically burns karma. A single spark of Red Lotus Karmic Fire can obliterate a golden body painstakingly cultivated for millions of years.
However, the Crimson Lotus Karmic Fire is not so easy to obtain. It only exists within the Six Paths of Reincarnation and cannot be found anywhere else. Moreover, the Dao Ancestor once decreed that sages must not interfere in reincarnation. Of course, this decree does not apply to Xuan Tian. Sages do not interfere, fine, then. Hou Tu is not a sage, right? She can interfere, right? Besides, Ping Xin, who Hou Tu transformed into, has no karma, and the Crimson Lotus Karmic Fire cannot harm her. Therefore, it is the safest option for her to obtain the Crimson Lotus Karmic Fire.
As mentioned before, the Nine Treasures Tree was originally crafted by Xuantian using branches from the innate spiritual root, the Osmanthus Tree, and imitating the crafting method of the Seven Treasures Tree, incorporating a considerable amount of karma. Since the Buddhist golden body is itself forged from karma, it couldn't be overlooked. Moreover, this thing was painstakingly crafted by Zhunti, so its karma is likely substantial, which could significantly enhance the power of the Nine Treasures Tree. Xuantian originally crafted this magic weapon as a prank and didn't intend to achieve any real effect. Now that he had the opportunity, he wasn't letting it slip by, since no one would complain about having too many treasures.
Having successfully refined the Nine Treasures Tree, Xuan Tian began a new round of treasure refining. This round of refining will not be described here, but will be discussed later.
Western religion, Mount Sumeru, and the Eight Virtues Pond.
This Medicine Master was a direct disciple of Jieyin, and the chief disciple of the Western Sect. He upheld the compassionate philosophy of his master Jieyin, deeply inheriting the true teachings of Jieyin and Zhunti. He made twelve great vows and achieved the status of a Quasi-Saint in the Western Sect. However, at that time, the Western Sect had not yet spread eastward, hence the Medicine Master was unknown to the primordial world!
In the Western Paradise, Jieyin is detached from worldly affairs, while Zhunti often travels and preaches in the prehistoric world. Therefore, all matters, large and small, in the sect are managed by the Medicine Master. The Medicine Master has two disciples, namely the Sunlight Master and the Moonlight Master, both of whom are now at the Taiyi Golden Immortal realm. He also has twelve followers called the Twelve Yakshas, all of whom are at the late Earth Immortal realm.
Maitreya Daoist was originally a stone spirit from Mount Sumeru, the home of the Western Paradise. When the Great God Pangu separated heaven and earth, the pure chaotic energy rose to become the sky, and the turbid energy descended to become the earth. The malevolent energy between heaven and earth transformed into the Netherworld Blood Sea. However, the most turbid of the turbid formed Mount Sumeru. Maitreya Daoist's true form was a stone spirit from Mount Sumeru, a truly noble origin. For countless eons, he received guidance from the two saints, Jieyin and Zhunti, and now he has reached the quasi-saint realm.
Below the Medicine Master and Maitreya, sat four other Daoists, who were the four disciples that the Sage Zhunti had taken in during his countless years of travels through the primordial world. They were Vipassi Daoist, Shiki Daoist, Vishava Daoist, Kumarajiva Daoist, and Kasyapa Daoist, all of whom possessed the cultivation level of a late-stage Golden Immortal.
On the other side sat three second-generation Golden Immortals of the Jie Sect: Jin Guangxian, Wuyun Xian, and Pilu Xian. These three had been captured by Zhunti in the Ten Thousand Immortals Formation and, for hundreds of years, had been taught daily by Jieyin and Zhunti the great methods of the Western Saints. Now that the Jie Sect was destroyed, and with nowhere else to turn, they had genuinely submitted to the Western Sect. Behind them sat the three thousand Jie Sect disciples who had been led to the West by Zhunti in the Ten Thousand Immortals Formation.
