Ran Mouri's leg injury started to ache again from the exertion of running around, but she endured it without making a sound.

Ai Haibara observes her surroundings, trying to find some useful clues.

As the small boat drifted along, the river gradually widened and the current became slightly calmer.

"Look, there's a light ahead!" Nightshade pointed excitedly ahead.

Everyone looked toward the light, a glimmer of hope igniting in their hearts.

As the small boat approached the light, they discovered it was a hole leading to the outside world.

"Finally out!" Lin Yu breathed a sigh of relief.

After they reached the shore, they found themselves in an unfamiliar place, surrounded by dense forest.

"Let's find a place to rest first, and then figure out how to locate this place," Conan said.

The group found a relatively safe place in the forest and sat down to rest.

Ran Mouri's wound needed to be treated again, so Ai Haibara took out some medicine from her backpack and bandaged it for her.

“The footprints disappear here,” Conan said.

Suddenly, a black shadow, as fast as lightning, swept past overhead like a ghost. The shadow was so fast that no one had time to see its true form.

"Wh...what is that?" Even the usually brave and fearless Ran Mouri couldn't help but exclaim in surprise, her voice clearly filled with fear and astonishment.

However, before they could even react, a group of strangely shaped creatures appeared out of thin air, suddenly appearing before them. These creatures were tall and robust, covered in a thick layer of black fur; their limbs were strong and powerful, with incredibly sharp claws that gleamed with a chilling light in the dim light; sharp, slender fangs protruded from their gaping maws, ferocious and terrifying; most terrifying of all were their eyes, those pairs of eyes like burning flames, revealing endless hostility and murderous intent.

"Everyone be careful!" Conan shouted to warn everyone upon seeing the situation. Fine beads of sweat appeared on his forehead, but his eyes remained firm and composed.
