Under the blinding light, Conan and Ran felt a sudden dizziness, their minds instantly thrown into chaos, and countless strange hallucinations flashed before their eyes. Ran squeezed her eyes shut, struggling against this inexplicable force, and shouted, "Conan, what's going on?"

Conan was also putting up a fierce fight. With his strong will, he managed to maintain a sliver of clarity and replied, "This device is probably designed to interfere with our minds. Don't let it control you. Focus!"

Conan knew that panicking would be useless at this moment; he had to find a solution as soon as possible. While struggling to resist the mental shock, he quickly sorted through the clues he had gathered in his mind. From the conflict between the Natsume family's ancestors and the mysterious organization, to the nightmares of family members, and then to this strange device, all the information flashed through his mind at lightning speed.

Suddenly, Conan remembered a few words about this mind control power mentioned in the diary. Although the memory was a bit hazy, he recalled that it seemed to suggest that the key to cracking the device lay in finding its energy core and cutting off its power supply.

Conan struggled to open his eyes, trying to locate the device's energy core in the bright light. However, the light was too blinding, and everything around him became blurry. He groped his way towards the device, overcoming immense mental resistance with each step, as if an invisible hand was desperately pulling him away.

Seeing Conan struggling to move forward, Ran Mouri suppressed her own mental anguish and followed closely behind him. "Conan, I'll go with you," she said through gritted teeth, her voice resolute.

Finally, Conan discovered a shimmering crystal at the bottom of the device, which he guessed was the energy core. By this time, his body was exhausted from resisting the mental shock, but he knew he couldn't give up.

"Ran, shield me from any danger that may arise. I'm going to destroy this crystal," Conan shouted.

Ran Mouri quickly stood beside Conan, warily scanning their surroundings. Although she was also dizzy from the mental power, she still braced herself, ready to deal with any unexpected situation.

Conan took a deep breath, mustered all his strength, pulled out his tool, and smashed it against the crystal. With a crisp sound, cracks appeared in the crystal, the intense light instantly diminished, and the forces that interfered with his mind dissipated.

Conan and Ran Mouri were finally freed from the mind control, and both of them breathed a sigh of relief.

"That was close, Conan, are you alright?" Ran Mouri asked with concern.

“I’m fine. We need to find out where this device came from and who the shadowy figure is as soon as possible,” Conan said.

They began to examine the device closely and discovered some strange symbols engraved on it. Conan, with his knowledge of various mysterious symbols, recognized that these symbols were similar to those used by the mysterious organization they had encountered before.

"It seems this mysterious organization is still operating in the shadows, and they've set their sights on the Natsume family," Conan said, frowning.

Just then, they heard footsteps outside the door. Conan and Ran quickly hid to the side, preparing to deal with whoever was coming.

The door slowly opened, and a figure walked in. In the dim light, Conan could see the person's face clearly; it was Natsume Ichiro.

"Mr. Natsume, it's you?" Ran Mouri asked in surprise.

When Natsume Ichiro saw Conan and Ran Mouri, a hint of panic flashed across his face, but he quickly regained his composure. "I heard some noise over here, so I came to check it out."

Conan keenly noticed Natsume Ichiro's unusual behavior; his eyes flickered, and his demeanor seemed somewhat flustered. "Mr. Natsume, is there something you're hiding from us?" Conan asked, staring intently at him.

Natsume Ichiro hesitated for a moment, then finally sighed. "Alright, there are indeed some things I haven't told you yet. Actually, my family has been guarding a secret, a secret related to an ancient power that can control people's minds. I originally thought that as long as my family kept this secret, there would be no danger, but I didn't expect it to attract the attention of a mysterious organization."

"Then why didn't you tell us from the beginning?" Ran Mouri said, somewhat angrily.

“I’m worried that if this secret is leaked, it will bring even more trouble to the family,” Natsume Ichiro said helplessly.

After thinking for a moment, Conan asked, "Do you know why this mysterious organization is targeting your family, and what exactly they are looking for?"

Natsume Ichiro shook his head: "All I know is that they've been searching for something called the 'Mind Stone,' which is said to possess infinite power and allow one to control the thoughts of others at will. But I'm not sure if that's true, and there are no specific records of this stone in my family."

Conan realizes things are getting more complicated. A mysterious organization is targeting the Natsume family for the "Mind Stone," and this strange device is just part of their plan.

“We must find this mysterious organization as soon as possible and stop their plot,” Conan said.

Just then, Conan's phone received a text message from Ai Haibara. The message indicated that she had discovered some clues related to a mysterious organization during her investigation, suggesting that this organization had a secret base in another corner of the city.

Conan immediately relayed the text message to Ran Mouri and Ichiro Natsume. "It seems we need to go check out this hideout; perhaps we can find more information about the 'Mind Stone' and the mysterious organization."

So, Conan, Ran Mouri, and Ichiro Natsume decided to go to the location provided by Ai Haibara. They cautiously arrived at the area where the secret hideout was located and found it to be an abandoned factory surrounded by cameras and patrolling guards.
