The enormous roar coming from outside the building made Conan and the others' hearts jump. They quickly ran out of the building and saw the ground in the valley begin to shake violently. A black pillar of light shot into the sky from the center of the valley, and within the pillar of light, a terrifying figure was faintly twisting and struggling.

"What's going on? Wasn't the curse lifted?" Lin Yu asked nervously, his voice trembling slightly.

Conan frowned, staring at the black beam of light, and said, "It seems we underestimated this evil power. Perhaps lifting the curse only awakened a deeper form of it."

Nightshade gripped the short knife in his hand, his gaze resolute: "No matter what, we cannot back down; we must resolve this completely."

Ran Mouri stretched her wrists and assumed a fighting stance: "That's right, we've been through so much, we absolutely cannot give up at this final moment."

Ai Haibara quickly took out her detection equipment and scanned and analyzed the black beam of light: "This power is extremely strong, and it is filled with an aura of darkness and chaos. We need to find its weakness in order to attack it effectively."

Just as everyone was preparing to deal with the unknown danger, a group of demon-like creatures suddenly sprang out from the black pillar of light. They were agile, with huge black wings on their backs and red flames burning in their eyes, baring their fangs and claws as they pounced on Conan and the others.

"Be careful, these demons are not easy to deal with!" Conan shouted, while quickly taking out various gadgets from his backpack to prepare for the battle.

Nightshade charged into the horde of demons first, his short sword flashing incessantly, each strike sending sprays of blood flying. However, the demons were numerous and surged forward relentlessly, and Nightshade gradually felt the pressure mounting.

Ran Mouri was equally formidable, using her exceptional karate skills to engage the demons in close combat. Her punches and kicks were powerful and fierce, constantly repelling the approaching demons, but the demons seemed tireless, launching wave after wave of attacks.

Lin Yu then used high-tech equipment to launch various energy weapons. Laser beams and electromagnetic pulses flashed and erupted among the demon horde, causing the demons to scream in agony. However, these attacks could only temporarily repel the demons and could not inflict fatal damage on them.

While dodging the demons' attacks, Ai Haibara continued to analyze their weaknesses. She discovered that the base of the demons' wings was a relatively vulnerable area; once severely damaged, the demons would lose their ability to fly and their combat power would be greatly reduced.

"Conan, attack the base of their wings, that's their weak point!" Ai Haibara shouted.

Upon hearing this, Conan immediately adjusted his attack strategy. He took out a specially made crossbow, attached arrows with both tranquilizing and explosive effects, and aimed at the base of a demon's wing. The arrow struck its target accurately, the demon let out a shrill scream, a large gash exploded at the base of its wing, it lost its balance, and fell to the ground.

After hearing Ai Haibara's prompting, Nightshade and Ran Mouri changed their attack methods. Nightshade seized the opportunity, lunging at a demon and plunging his dagger deep into the base of its wing before tearing it apart. Ran Mouri, meanwhile, leaped up and delivered a flying kick, snapping off a demon's wing.

Lin Yu focused his attacks on the base of the demons' wings, and the energy emitted by his high-tech weapons struck their targets precisely, causing the demons to fall one by one. With the combined efforts of everyone, the number of demons gradually decreased.

However, at that moment, a deafening roar erupted from the black pillar of light. A gigantic demon slowly emerged, its body towering over ten meters tall, covered in black scales, and radiating a chilling aura. Its eyes, like two enormous fireballs, stared at Conan and the others, as if ready to devour them.

"This great demon is the real trouble," Conan said, quickly considering a solution.

The great demon flapped its enormous wings, unleashing a gust of wind that sent Conan and the others staggering about. Then, it opened its gaping maw and spewed forth a stream of black flames, which, like a roaring dragon, hurtled towards Conan and the others.

Conan shouted, "Scatter!" Everyone quickly dodged in all directions, black flames grazing their bodies and burning a huge crater in the ground.

Nightshade looked at the great demon, his eyes showing no fear: "Let's attack together, I refuse to believe we can't defeat it!"

Ran Mouri nodded: "Okay, I'll draw its attention from the front, and you guys take the opportunity to attack its weaknesses."

After saying that, Ran Mouri charged towards the Great Demon, shouting deafeningly as she ran, successfully attracting its attention. The Great Demon roared angrily, raising its massive claws to strike Ran. Ran nimbly dodged the attacks while constantly looking for an opportunity to counterattack.

Nightshade seized the opportunity, using the surrounding terrain to nimbly climb onto the Great Demon's body like a black panther, and thrust its blade towards the base of its wing. However, the Great Demon's scales were exceptionally hard, and the dagger only left a shallow mark on them.

Lin Yu used high-tech equipment to continuously attack the Great Demon's eyes, attempting to disrupt its vision. Beams of laser light shot towards the Great Demon's eyes, and the Great Demon, stimulated by the intense light, angrily flapped its wings, nearly throwing Night Shadow off.

Ai Haibara was intently studying the ancient books, hoping to find a way to fight the Great Demon. She quickly flipped through the pages, then her eyes lit up: "Conan, the book says that the demon's heart is its core, and destroying the heart will completely destroy it. But the heart is protected by a powerful layer of dark energy; we need to find a way to break through this energy shield."

While dodging the Great Demon's attacks, Conan pondered how to break the energy shield. He recalled the various clues he'd encountered in the forest and suddenly remembered the crystal he'd found at the bottom of the lake. That crystal seemed to have some connection to this dark power; perhaps he could use it to break the shield.
