Hanging out with a rich man?

Qiao Shu didn't think there was anything wrong with this statement. It seemed to be true.

Pei Shi'an was not happy. He stared coldly at Qiao's mother, raised the corners of his lips, took Qiao Shu's hand, and said in a low voice, "It's still uncertain who will be with whom."

That doting smile on Pei Shi'an's face was truly addictive.

The girls nearby stopped and stared at Pei Shi'an with red faces.

"What do you mean? You...will cover him?"

Mother Qiao's face turned pale and red. She pointed at Pei Shi'an and looked at Qiao Shu.

Pei Shi'an said coldly, "Auntie, what does this have to do with you?"

"Auntie? Young man, you look so handsome, why do you speak so harshly?"

Mother Qiao was furious and touched her face which she had spent a lot of money to maintain.

"You're ugly, and you're not allowed to say it?"

"What's wrong with me being ugly?"

"Just like Qiao Mingyue, ugly face, ugly heart, ugly everywhere, unsightly."

Pei Shi'an frowned, his expression showing obvious disgust.

"you!"

Mother Qiao was so angry that she almost had a heart attack.

"No need to say more here. Apologizing? Impossible. Kneeling down and admitting your mistakes? You're probably daydreaming."

Qiao Shu grabbed Pei Shi'an's hand and said mercilessly.

She glanced at Pei Shi'an and said, "Let's go. Meeting someone like this really affects our mood."

Pei Shi'an responded gently and lovingly, "Okay."

The two of them walked hand in hand past Qiao's mother and were about to leave, but Qiao Mingyue came over from the front. When she saw Qiao Shu, a cruel light flashed in her eyes. She walked forward and bumped into Qiao Shu's shoulder hard.

"ah!"

Qiao Mingyue fell to the ground, the scene was extremely funny.

"Mingyue, are you okay?"

Mother Qiao's face changed drastically. She quickly stepped forward to help her up and said distressedly, "My dear, you are a star. Didn't I ask you to wait for me downstairs? Why did you run out?"

The two of them sang in unison, performing the drama of mother-daughter love.

Seeing someone secretly taking photos nearby, Qiao Shu glanced at them and said, "I have to say, your green tea temperaments are surprisingly similar. I wonder if you can continue to be so compatible in the future."

"Qiao Shu, what do you mean by that? On the variety show, I've been very patient with you for the sake of the overall situation. Why do you still want to bully us, mother and daughter?"

Qiao Mingyue stood up and questioned her with resentful eyes.

If you don't know, you would think you are the reincarnation of the Virgin Mary. Why are you still considering the overall situation?"

Qiao Shu was so angry that she almost laughed, "Don't worry, I will continue to bully you in the future."

"Listen, she admitted it."

Ignoring everything else, Qiao Mingyue pointed at Qiao Shu and stared at Pei Shi'an.

Although he had a handsome and elegant face, Qiao Mingyue didn't know why she felt an inexplicable urge to escape when Pei Shi'an's eyes swept over her.

It was as if...she had been killed by him before.

It made her feel inexplicably scared.

Pei Shi'an pinched her slender waist and spoke in a deep voice, which made her feel safe.

But it frightened Qiao's mother and daughter.

"Stop bragging here. Our Qiao family is not something that anyone can bully."

Mother Qiao snorted coldly.

Pei Shi'an's eyes turned cold, and he sneered at every word he said, "Qiao family? Who the hell are they?"

It was as if she was struck by lightning. Mother Qiao swallowed her saliva. For some reason, she felt that Pei Shi'an's handsome face was quite familiar.

"Aren't you just Qiao Shu's gigolo? You sound so powerful."

Qiao Mingyue had actually been eavesdropping for a while, but she didn't take Pei Shi'an's words to heart. She looked at Qiao Shu with disdain and said, "You know, she used to chase after Brother Yunhao. Even if you were kept, you'd still be cuckolded."

"Bundled?"

Pei Shi'an raised his eyebrows, without explaining, but just glanced at Qiao Shu.

Seeing more and more people gathering around, Qiao Shu pushed up her sunglasses and said coldly, "It's hard to say who's cuckolded. Qiao Mingyue, your good days are almost over. Just wish yourself the best."

"Qiao Shu, what do you mean?"

"It's nothing special. Since you care about me so much, I will give you a big gift in two days."

Qiao Shu sneered disdainfully and pulled Pei Shi'an away.

Qiao Mingyue was flustered by her words and wanted to chase after her, but was recognized by people nearby. She had no choice but to pull Qiao's mother away first.

After Qiao Shu and Pei Shi'an came home with their things, Pei Shi'an changed into comfortable home clothes, put on the apron he had just bought, and went to cook obediently.

"Wow, Mr. Pei, you can cook?"

Qiao Shu munched on a cucumber and stared at him with admiration.

“When I was studying abroad, I couldn’t get used to eating outside, so I would occasionally cook for myself.”

Pei Shi'an said calmly, "You are the first person who can eat the food I cook."

Qiao Shu smiled playfully and said, "I'm deeply honored."

When dinner was served, Qiao Shu looked at the three dishes and one soup in front of her and gave him a thumbs-up. "It tastes good too. I won't have to worry about Sister Mei nagging me about eating junk food anymore."
