Yu Yin looked at the three people who had expressed their opinions with a smug smile, then turned her gaze to Comrade Lu Shurui.

"I'm on your side too."

He's alright, he has a strong will to survive, so Yu Yin decided to let him go for now.

"Sizzle... Clang clang..."

The train started moving, and their first journey began.

Pingping and An'an were very excited. They got up and wanted to look out the window.

Yu Yin picked up An'an and held her, letting her look out the window. Lu Shurui did the same for Pingping, letting the two little ones feast their eyes; it was their first time on a train, and they were very curious.

The cramped space and unpleasant smell meant that after just a few hours, the two little ones had had enough and didn't want to ride in the car anymore; they wanted to go home.

There was no other way, so Yu Yin and Lu Shurui let them play in the limited space until they were exhausted so they could sleep at night, otherwise they would disturb others.

Two men came to the two upper berths before going to sleep that night. Without exchanging pleasantries, they climbed up and lay down. As for the man in the middle berth, who was wearing a polyester shirt, he had been asleep since boarding the train and hadn't gotten up at all.

In the evening, Yu Yin and the others ate the vegetable pancakes they brought themselves. They also made milk powder for the two younger children, ate some snacks, rinsed their mouths, and fell asleep because they were tired.

The sleeper berth was too small for them to sleep together. Yu Yin placed the two children diagonally on one berth, and she and Lu Shurui took turns watching over them. One slept for the first half of the night, and the other for the second half; otherwise, they couldn't manage, and they didn't dare to sleep soundly for fear the children would be stolen.

During the day, she and Lu Shurui took turns catching up on sleep, while Lu Shuqi helped look after the child. And so, after several shifts of people had changed berths in the other three bunks, theirs was finally nearing its destination.

"Mom, have another bowl of noodles."

"I want meat sauce."

Yu Yin's homemade instant noodles turned out quite well. The deep-fried noodles were quite chewy after being soaked in boiling water, and they tasted delicious with her homemade sauce.

"Alright, we're getting off the bus soon. Let's go to the guesthouse for a chat; we just finished eating."

Yu Yin tidied up her things and prepared to get off the bus. This journey had been absolutely exhausting.
