Wang Mingzhu stomped on the rice and slammed her hand on the table. The three pairs of gold bracelets on her wrists jingled against the edge of the table. She glared fiercely at Liu Shi, seemingly trying her best to express her dissatisfaction.

Liu was of a weak nature. Seeing that Wang Jinzhu and Wang Mingzhu had both thrown away their food, she frowned and said, "Every grain of rice and every bowl of porridge should be cherished! Even if you don't want to eat it, you shouldn't throw it on the ground!"

"This food is so awful, the person who cooked it is the one wasting food!"

Wang Jinzhu was a few years older than Wang Mingzhu. She stood in front of her younger sister with a righteous air and shouted, "You bad woman! Every time my mother takes us out, she takes us to Tianxiang Restaurant to eat. We can order whatever we want. Even if it's a roast suckling pig that costs ten taels of silver, my mother is willing to take us to eat it!"

"You actually brought us to eat this meal that costs thirty coins a serving! What can you buy with thirty coins? I bet you can only buy pig swill. This whole meal is just pig swill!"

"You're so stingy! A stepmother is just a stepmother, all she does is mistreat us and force us to eat pig swill! I'm going home to find my father! I'm going to find my father! I'll have him teach you a lesson, you wicked woman!"

After Wang Jinzhu finished speaking, she stomped on the food on the ground a few more times.

"You child..." Madam Liu bit her lip tightly, her face flushed, too angry to speak.

Seeing this, Wang Jinzhu and Wang Mingzhu became even more smug. Holding hands, they swaggered out the door, intending to return to the manor.

But before they could leave the Flower Inn, they were stopped by a figure.

Wang Mingzhu frowned when she saw Shen Yuan suddenly appear in front of her.

Wang Jinzhu had seen Shen Yuan a few times while she was with Zhao Hefang. When she saw Shen Yuan blocking her way, she roared and headbutted Shen Yuan: "Who do you think you are, daring to block my way! Get out of my way!"

"Miss Chen, be careful!" Madam Liu exclaimed.

However, Wang Jinzhu did not bump into Shen Yuan. Instead, she was stopped by Chun Tao and Du Juan two steps away from Shen Yuan.

Chuntao and Dujuan grabbed Wang Jinzhu's arms from either side, making it impossible for her to move.

She burst into tears: "It hurts! Waaaaah! I'm the young lady of a wealthy family! Let me go! Otherwise, I'll have my father beat you all to death! Beat you all to death!"

"You are all incredibly presumptuous!"

Liu stepped forward. Although Wang Jinzhu hadn't actually bumped into Shen Yuan, she had been terrified.

Shen Yuan was her son's savior. If she were injured because of someone from their manor, how could she face Shen Yuan and Granny Liu in the future?

She appeared at Huajian Restaurant today because she heard about it from the servants and decided on a whim to come and support Shen Yuan.

But when she went out, Wang Jinzhu and Wang Mingzhu insisted on going out with her.

"I don't want to apologize!" Although Cui'er was holding Wang Jinzhu's arms, she could still muster the strength in her legs. She kicked Liu Shi in the calf and said defiantly, "You're not my mother, what right do you have to tell me what to do? You bad woman! Get out! Get out..."

Shen Yuan suddenly raised her hand and slapped Wang Jinzhu across the face.

Wang Jinzhu was completely stunned by the beating. She had been pampered by Zhao Hefang since she was a child and could not believe that anyone in the world would dare to hit her.

Shen Yuan rolled up all her sleeves, put her hands on her hips, and glared fiercely at Wang Jinzhu and Wang Mingzhu.

"If your parents can't teach you properly, then outsiders will take care of you! You two are just unlucky to have run into me today!"

"Pick up all the food that's spilled on the ground and eat it all! Otherwise, don't even think about leaving this shop!"

Wang Jinzhu and Wang Mingzhu pursed their lips. They were a little afraid of Chen Yuan, but the food on the ground had been trampled on several times by them and was filthy, making it impossible to eat!

After struggling internally for a moment, Wang Jinzhu looked at Madam Liu and said in a low voice, "Auntie, please save us! We know we were wrong!"

Liu looked away, pretending not to see the three of them.

Wang Jinzhu's expression froze.
