At half past eight, Ruan Xiangyi woke up from her bed and heard someone knocking on the door. Just as she was about to get up to open it, a pair of hands behind her embraced her and said in a lazy tone, "Sleep a little longer."

Jiang Ruzhi called out from outside: "Xiangyi, are you awake?"

Ruan Xiangyi responded: "I'll be right there."

The person behind her was still teasing her, so she slapped his hand and said, "Stop it."

The hands calmed down, and Ruan Xiangyi casually put on a piece of clothing to open the door, leaving it half-open.

"Do you want me to pack you some breakfast?" Jiang Ruzhi asked.

Ruan Xiangyi: "No, I'm resting at home with my injured foot. I'll go eat by myself later. I've got a lot going on today, so don't worry about me."

Jiang Ruzhi thought for a moment and said, "Okay. By the way, Li Yingxue woke up this morning and will be discharged at noon. You can rest assured."

"That's good." Ruan Xiangyi breathed a sigh of relief.

"There's no air conditioning in the room. I have two hot water bottles. You'll feel better if you keep them warm while you sleep." She was about to push the door open and go in. After closing the door, Ruan Xiangyi turned around and saw Zhao Qingshi leaning his head and staring at her with a smile.

Ruan Xiangyi put the hot water bottle aside and deliberately asked him, "Aren't you sleepy?"

She was woken up by the cold before dawn. It turned out that she forgot to close the window last night. When she got out of bed to close the window, she saw a figure standing in the yard. She found out that it was Zhao Qingshi. Why was he running to the yard so early in the morning instead of sleeping?

Zhao Qingshi chuckled and buried his head in the crook of her neck: "I've missed you a lot these past few days."

"You only care about your cat and don't care about me." He said in a low voice.

Ruan Xiangyi thought for a moment and said, "I care about you, too."

"Do you miss me?" Zhao Qingshi raised his head.

After staring at each other for a long time, Ruan Xiangyi opened her mouth and said, "I..."

"Okay, stop talking." Zhao Qingshi took a deep breath. He knew she wouldn't miss him.

"?" Ruan Xiangyi didn't understand why he was so persistent in letting her kiss him, but she still agreed to his request and gently kissed the corner of his mouth.

"What did I teach you that time in the car?" He didn't buy it.

Ruan Xiangyi refused: "I want to sleep."

Ruan Xiangyi covered her head with the quilt and ignored him.

Zhao Qingshi chuckled.

It was nearly eleven when Zhao Qingshi woke up again. Accustomed to sleeping in a European-style bed, he felt a sore back after a night's sleep on this hard bed. The sun was out today, a ray of light streaming in through the east window. He half-sat up. Ruan Xiangyi hadn't woken up yet. She sat at the desk, a small electric oven by her legs, her hands on the computer keyboard, typing away intently. From his angle, she looked like she had a sharp nose, wore black-framed glasses, and had hair that flowed naturally down her sides. Her outfit couldn't be simpler, but he saw it as a way to see into someone's life, and he loved it.

Zhao Qingshi didn't disturb her. He half-lay down and began to deal with his work. He had to go out to meet someone at three o'clock this afternoon.

After finishing the press release, Ruan Xiangyi took off her headphones and turned around to find that he was awake. As she stood up, Zhao Qingshi got out of bed and came over to support her. He held her up on the bed and lifted her injured calf. He asked worriedly, "How are you feeling today?"

Ruan Xiangyi was a little surprised: "Why did you come back so soon?"

Zhao Qingshi put the fruit on her desk and said, "I'll be back after we finish talking."

In fact, he was worried about leaving her here alone, so he skipped the on-site inspection process and asked Xia Li to come and connect with the other party.

Her room was simple, with only one chair to sit on. He sat on the bed and discussed with her what to do in the next two days.

Ruan Xiangyi asked, "Don't you have to work?"
