As the greatest magician of this century, Veili has captured a new pet—a little thing that calls itself a system and can transport people across worlds. Recalling the men who chased him nonstop, ...
Vili walked so fast it was almost like he was flying, but the person behind him only took two steps before catching up.
Damn it, just because you have long legs doesn't mean you can be amazing!
Vili stopped in his tracks and dodged Atheran, who was pretending to stumble and about to crash into him.
"Don't you have anything to do yourself?"
"Hundreds of years have passed since your reign. Don't you want to see how well your descendants are governing?"
She insisted on following him every step of the way!
Aetheran shrugged.
"What does that have to do with me?"
"—Vili!"
An unfamiliar shout came from afar. Willy looked over impatiently, but the person who came was someone he hadn't expected.
It was his fiancé, Prince Aiden (the thinner version), who had been offline for who knows how long.
Perhaps due to prolonged hunger strike, he looked much weaker than when he first met Willy. His once handsome face was now sallow and emaciated, and even these few steps left him breathless.
It seems the queen is quite ruthless towards her own son.
Hill followed closely behind him.
He looked better; apart from his pale face and a large bump on his forehead, he hadn't changed much.
Willie crossed his arms, looking rather annoyed.
Why would I call you "Dad"?
"you--"
Aiden was still trying to catch his breath when he heard this, and he couldn't catch his breath and started coughing violently.
Hill was patting his back beside him, his expression unreadable.
"What do you mean, 'you'? Be polite to your father."
Vili sneered, ignoring him and instead looking at Atheran beside him.
"Do you think it's a problem for him to call me 'Dad'?"
“It depends on who he is…” Aiden glanced at Aiden critically. “I don’t really want a son like that.”
"If you're interested, how about I research fertility potions?"
"Are you going to give birth?"
Vili never expected the person in front of him to be so shameless.
"If you're willing to contribute even a tiny bit..."
Seeing Atheran's gaze drifting downwards, Vili's expression suddenly changed, and without hesitation, he kicked him in a certain area, but the man blocked the kick.
"You can't just touch this place."
"You...you've gone too far."
Unexpectedly, Hill suddenly spoke in a trembling voice, her eyes filled with tears.
“Villie, your fiancé is still alive, and you're flirting with other men right in front of him. What does this say about your engagement?”
Vili was stunned by his double standards. Before he could answer, Atheran next to him narrowed his eyes.
"fiancé?"
His last syllable rose slightly as he looked at Aiden directly for the first time.
After a moment, he shook his head.
"My love, were your tastes really that bad before?"
Vili could not tolerate such an insult.
"This is a marriage arranged by our elders, it has nothing to do with me."
After saying that, he suddenly laughed gleefully.
"Oh right, I forgot to introduce him to you. This guy is the future heir of the country."
He practically said it outright—
Your country of Seldos is finished!
"..."
Aetheran began to recall the successor he had chosen before his death. That child... didn't seem to look this bad? How come his descendants look like this?
"Vili!"
Aiden finally caught his breath and shouted again.
"Just say what you need to say. Why do you keep calling your father's name?"
Aiden's face turned ashen, and he felt that Willie had indeed gone completely insane from jealousy over his relationship with Hill, but he felt no sympathy for such a vicious person.
He forcefully ignored Vili's verbal advantage.
"You're not allowed to let your lackeys bully Hill again!" he said, tenderly patting the large bump on the forehead of the person next to him. "You're unworthy of Russell's honor for such behavior!"
Willie didn't bother explaining his lack of knowledge; he simply spoke as if it were unintentional.
"If I'm not good enough, then who is?"
"That's for sure—"
Aiden was interrupted halfway through his sentence by Hill pulling his arm.
"...Anyway, I've warned you! If this happens again, don't blame me for being ruthless!"
Vili ignored him, but suddenly remembered something and connected with the system in his mind.
"Host! You've finally remembered me!"
"Let's put all that aside for now, what's going on with this plot?"
Aiden's reaction just now was clearly off.
"That's right, host!" The system had anticipated Vili's question and was well-prepared. "The plot point has been moved up!"
"This time, the Queen was particularly firm in refusing to annul the engagement, and even the King sided with her, so Aiden went on a hunger strike for a long time before being released."
"As for Hill, he was doing quite well under Ryan's protection. But later, Ryan distanced himself from him, and his situation deteriorated again."
"When Aiden was released, the two met and immediately poured out their grievances to each other, exchanging information about their respective situations."
"So they decided to plan ahead!"
"At the royal banquet tomorrow, they will arrange for Hill and Duke Russell to recognize each other!"
Vili touched his chin.
"How did they know that Hill was Duke Russell's illegitimate son?"
At first, when Willy first heard the original plot, he didn't have any particular thoughts, but after meeting Duke Russell, he began to have this guess.
After all, Willie didn't believe that Duke Russell was just trying to curry favor with the prince by acknowledging someone who wasn't related to him by blood as his son.
