As the greatest magician of this century, Veili has captured a new pet—a little thing that calls itself a system and can transport people across worlds. Recalling the men who chased him nonstop, ...
"Your gaze is almost burning me."
Vili sat up and complained.
"My dear little prince, it's too cruel of you to say that to me."
"If you didn't replenish my energy, how could I handle so many official duties and squeeze out more time to find that special gem for you?"
"Yeah?"
Wei glanced at him with a suspicious look.
"I have a feeling that you haven't actually done as much as you said you would."
It's unclear whether Atheran sensed something, but he didn't seem to be in a hurry at all to help Vili find the gems.
"Then you've misunderstood my intentions."
Atheran simply put down his pen and was about to get up and walk over to Vili.
This short distance alone made him anxious and restless; only by touching his lover in person could he soothe his heart.
Vili was right. Even though Atheran hadn't found anything unusual in his prophetic magic, his intuition was giving him a warning.
I have a feeling... something bad might happen after he handed the gem to Vili.
Therefore, he thought he needed a guarantee.
"I'd do anything for you."
His steps were not hurried, but his eyes were fixed on the boy in the rocking chair, like a feline predator poised to pounce.
"So... could you spare this poor man before you a meager promise?"
He was just one step away from being as good as Willy.
"For example, a marriage contract?"
He leaned down slightly and pressed his lips close to Vili's.
