Emperor Jingcheng's eyes were red and he was on the verge of tears. The imperial physician rushed forward to take his pulse, his brows furrowed: "Your Majesty, the Empress has been poisoned by the drug of aphrodisiac. The drug is very potent, and we must detoxify her immediately."

"Zheng He Er, don't let any of those people go! Go and investigate them for me!" Emperor Jingcheng roared, his voice trembling with tears, as he held the unconscious A Zi in his arms.

"Your Majesty, this servant will go immediately." Zheng He's eyes turned serious. Who dared to drug the Empress!

As soon as Zheng He and his entourage left, a young eunuch rushed in to report: "Your Majesty...Your Majesty, something has happened!"

"Get out!" Di Jingcheng roared. Nothing was more important than his Azi right now.

The imperial physician was startled and fed the Empress a pill from his medicine chest: "Your Majesty, this medicine can relieve Her Highness's pain. The rest should be given to Your Majesty."

Qinghe stood to one side, holding the sleeping little prince, feeling extremely anxious. She then quickly led everyone out.

Di Jingyuan looked at Qinghe, then at his younger sister who was holding Chu'er, and nodded: "Jinghan, take Chu'er to the side hall to rest. Your second brother is here."

Di Jinghan smiled slightly: "Mhm!"

Di Jinghan carried Chu'er away, and Di Jingyuan turned around and walked into the courtyard: "Qinghe, what happened?"

Qinghe recounted what the little eunuch had just told her. Di Jingyuan clenched his fists tightly. If Li Yannian dared to do anything to betray Jinghan, he would kill him without hesitation.

"Qinghe and Zheng He, stay here and don't let those women leave. Take good care of my brother and sister-in-law. Zheng San, take a few guards and eunuchs and come with me," Emperor Jingcheng said sternly.

"Yes, Your Highness!"

Emperor Jingyuan led his men to Anju Palace next to Yanqing Palace. Several palace servants were already there, and they quickly bowed when they saw Emperor Jingyuan and his men arrive.

Di Jingyuan slightly raised his hand and asked in a low voice, "Is the person still inside?"

"Your Highness, we servants have been keeping a close watch; the person hasn't left."

Di Jingyuan nodded, his breathing becoming more tense. He slowly approached the door, listening to the seductive music coming from inside. A surge of fear and anger welled up inside him, his clenched fists bulging with veins, and his face turning pale.

"Open the gate for me."

Zheng San waved his hand, and two guards stepped forward and broke down the door. The embarrassing sounds inside continued. Di Jingyuan walked in with heavy steps, but stopped abruptly behind the screen, not daring to go any further.

"Zheng San, drag this person out for me. I want to see who dares to be so audacious as to commit such a shameful act in the palace!"

Zheng San led four eunuchs inside, only to be met with a scene that made them blush. Even as eunuchs, they dared not look. The two naked, pale-skinned bodies, entwined in a passionate embrace, were so alluring that they couldn't help but close their eyes.

Zheng San clapped his hands, signaling someone to separate the two. The two regained their senses and, upon seeing the eunuch before them, were so frightened that they quickly wrapped their naked bodies tightly in the quilt, knelt on the bed without saying a word, and their eyes darted around anxiously.

Zhang San carefully examined the two people's appearances. They were neither General Li nor the Zhang family's daughter, so he felt relieved.

"Who are you, daring to commit such lewd acts in the palace!" Zheng San pointed at the two men and shouted angrily.

"Please spare me, Your Excellency! I was drugged and woke up here! It was him, he forced me! Please, Your Excellency, do justice for me!" The palace maid regained her senses and began to accuse the man, looking pitiful with tears streaming down her face.
