Lin Xiaoxiao quickly fed the children some spiritual spring water to reduce the effects of the drug. Once she confirmed that everyone was alright, Lin Xiaoxiao breathed a sigh of relief.

Then Lin Xiaoxiao sprayed some medicine on the children's wounds and performed disinfection and anti-inflammatory treatment.

Seeing that the children showed no signs of waking up, Lin Xiaoxiao gathered some dry firewood nearby and started a fire, hoping that others passing by would notice.

Only then did Lin Xiaoxiao begin to seriously examine the cave.

The cave is shaped like an eggshell with a small crack, and the space at the top is very small.

However, the distance from the entrance to the bottom of the cave is about two meters, and there are many animal carcasses on the side, so it should be difficult to get out once you enter.

There are simple ladders available in the space, but they would be a bit difficult to use with children.

As Lin Xiaoxiao was thinking about how to take her child out, she heard voices outside.

After listening carefully, I realized it was the voices of Wang Dazhuang and Han Qiushi.

Hearing that it was a familiar voice, Lin Xiaoxiao put away all the blankets and draped her coat over them to keep them warm.

They also gathered all the dry leaves in the cave into a pile and made the fire burn brighter so that the children wouldn't get cold and the smoke from this side would be thicker.

When the thick smoke billowed out, Lin Xiaoxiao called out, "Qiu Shi!! Wang Dazhuang!!"

Hearing the commotion outside, Wang Dazhuang asked, "Did someone just call my name?"

"I heard it too, it sounds like Xiaoxiao's voice." The two of them talked as they ran quickly toward the direction of the sound.

"Xiaoxiao."

"Lin Xiaoxiao!!"

Lin Xiaoxiao kept calling out from the bottom of the cave, using her voice to guide them.

A group of people went towards the sound, asking, "Xiaoxiao, are you alright? Are you hurt?"

"I'm fine, the child is in the cave too. Be careful when you leave, this cave is covered by leaves, it's easy to fall if you're not careful," Lin Xiaoxiao shouted from the bottom of the cave.

"You all need to find tree branches to lean on as you move forward, so no one else falls." Lin Xiaoxiao didn't want anyone to repeat the same mistake and make the rescue more difficult.

"Okay, we'll be there soon."

Everyone followed Lin Xiaoxiao's instructions, found tree roots, and used branches to probe the way, step by step heading towards the cave.

Upon arriving at the cave, looking down from above, one could see Lin Xiaoxiao with slightly disheveled hair, and three children sitting by the cave entrance.

"Xiaoxiao, are you hurt?" Han Qiushi asked anxiously when he saw Lin Xiaoxiao's condition.

"I'm fine, but all the children have fainted. The entrance to the cave is small, but the space inside is quite large. You all need to find ropes quickly and pull us all up." Upon hearing this, Han Qiushi quickly asked the villagers behind him if they had any ropes.

Fortunately, some villagers thought it might come in handy and brought a hemp rope.

After the inspection confirmed that there were no problems, they discussed how to cooperate later.

Lin Xiaoxiao continued adding firewood to prevent the children from catching a cold, until she heard the sounds of Shengzi and Han Qiushi coming in. Lin Xiaoxiao then went to Shengzi's location.

Then they threw down two or three more pieces of clothing.

She first tied Ah Hu up, along with the clothes thrown down from above: "I'll drag the children down here. When you hear my voice, pull them up as hard as you can. Get all the children back home first," Lin Xiaoxiao shouted to the outside.

"good."

"Be careful, everyone, watch out for the child's head," Lin Xiaoxiao instructed.

Han Qiushi and the others carefully pulled the child up. After hearing Lin Xiaoxiao's instructions on where to position the child, Han Qiushi lay down directly at the cave entrance to prevent the child's head from rubbing against the sharp cave opening.

Before long, Xiao Hu was pulled up. "Why did the child faint? Quickly, someone take the child down and call the barefoot doctor to take a look."

Fortunately, there were quite a few people, and two people immediately went downstairs together to take their children down.

Han Qiushi and Wang Dazhuang continued to throw the rope down and pull up the other two children. "You two send the children down first, and Dazhuang and I will pull Xiaoxiao up," Han Qiushi said.

The villagers behind nodded, carefully placed Lin Xiaoxiao's clothes aside, and then quickly carried the children downstairs.

Han Qiushi remained lying prone at the cave entrance. After seeing Lin Xiaoxiao tie the rope and clothes, the three of them pulled together.

Lin Xiaoxiao stretched her hand toward Han Qiushi, who grabbed it and held it tightly in his large hands, the veins on the back of his hands standing out. He slowly pulled Lin Xiaoxiao up.

Han Qiushi only breathed a sigh of relief after the person was pulled up.

"Are you injured? There's blood on your face?" Han Qiushi asked with concern as he helped Lin Xiaoxiao untie the ropes.

"Oh, this?" Lin Xiaoxiao said, touching her face with her hand.

"It probably fell down and got scratched by the surrounding branches." It hurts a little when I touch it, but it's not a big problem; it should just be a minor scratch.

"I'm fine. Have the children all come down the mountain? They're all unconscious. We need to get the barefoot doctor to check on them quickly," Lin Xiaoxiao said to Wang Dazhuang, then turned and whispered to Han Qiushi about the possibility that the children had been drugged.

Upon hearing this, Han Qiushi frowned and nodded to indicate that he understood.

He couldn't help but touch Lin Xiaoxiao's face: "In the future, when something happens, don't act alone. Call someone to accompany you so you can look out for each other."

Han Qiushi didn't care whether Wang Dazhuang was there or not, and held Lin Xiaoxiao's hand tightly.

"Okay." Lin Xiaoxiao agreed readily, knowing that Han Qiushi cared about her, so she didn't say anything more.
