Lin Xiaoxiao spoke up: "So, should we go straight into that area? Or lure them out?"

Han Qiushi thought for two seconds: "You have a bow and arrow, so you can use ranged attacks to protect me."

"I need to observe the underground terrain, and then you can see my hand gestures. When the time is right, I will lure the person out. I'm afraid it would be dangerous to go in rashly."

Lin Xiaoxiao nodded. This was a relatively safe plan. By luring people out, even if the other side had guns, they could still use up some ammunition.

With her up in the tree, and her archery skills, they should be able to take her down.

Lin Xiaoxiao glanced around. The trees in front of her were all exceptionally tall, and it would take a lot of effort to climb them, but they offered the best view.

Lin Xiaoxiao shared her thoughts with Han Qiushi.

Han Qiushi thought for two seconds and then agreed, "Okay, I'll cover you."

“If they have guns, we’ll change our plan.”

After discussing it, the two carefully climbed down the tree.

Lin Xiaoxiao found the best shooting spot. She took a few steps back and, with Han Qiushi's shoulder, quickly climbed up the tree.

With nimble movements, she quickly climbed a tree trunk. By then, she had a clear view of her surroundings and, after confirming that there was no movement, she nocked her bow and arrows.

Han Qiushi breathed a sigh of relief after seeing that Lin Xiaoxiao had arrived safely at the destination.

He took the pistol and circled around the area.

The two were at least five meters apart in height and communicated using gestures.

After the entire forest fell silent, Han Qiushi was initially trying to guess their location, but he heard the sound of a lighter being lit.

Han Qiushi stopped and, with a happy expression, gestured to Lin Xiaoxiao, indicating that he was going to sneak in that direction and asking Lin Xiaoxiao to pay attention to that location.

Han Qiushi had only guessed that they would be here, but now that he heard the noise, he felt reassured.

Han Qiushi pulled out his gun and slowly moved forward. Lin Xiaoxiao saw Han Qiushi looking ahead warily and couldn't help but take out the detection equipment to use. She trusted Han Qiushi's abilities.

But wouldn't it be stupid not to use such a powerful cheat?

Lin Xiaoxiao quickly reset the equipment from yesterday, switching it to short-range mode. Knowing their location and with her archery accuracy, she could hit them with a single shot as soon as they came out.

After the setup was complete, Lin Xiaoxiao stared at the instrument.

The instrument showed a red dot underground. Lin Xiaoxiao's heart tightened. There was a landmine buried here?!

Seeing Han Qiushi about to walk in that direction, Lin Xiaoxiao's pupils contracted, her whole body tensed, and she quickly jumped downwards.

Han Qiushi's eyes widened at Lin Xiaoxiao's sudden movement. Just as he was about to ask a question, Lin Xiaoxiao tackled him to the ground, and he rolled several times.

The two clung tightly to each other and rolled around several times before stopping, with Han Qiushi on high alert.

Lin Xiaoxiao wouldn't have rushed down there for no reason; she must have discovered something unfavorable.

Seeing that he was on top of Lin Xiaoxiao, Han Qiushi deftly rolled over and asked her, "What's wrong? Did you find something? Are you alright?"

Lin Xiaoxiao realized she had been too hasty. Landmines are generally invisible to the naked eye, and Lin Xiaoxiao hadn't even noticed Han Qiushi's distance.

How did she know that from so far away? How is she supposed to make that up?

"To tell you the truth, I have a lot of talent, and my five senses are much more acute than others."

"I just...I just smelled a landmine, right where you walked past..."

Do you believe it?

Han Qiushi: "..."

Han Qiushi: "I...believe."

This reason is really outrageous, but Xiaoxiao has more than one outrageous side.

"Then...then you're really amazing," Han Qiushi said dryly.

"I'm so lucky to have found such an amazing partner," Han Qiushi said in a hoarse voice.

“That’s right,” Lin Xiaoxiao said softly, “I’m more amazing than you can imagine.”

Before Lin Xiaoxiao could figure out what to say, Han Qiushi had already provided her with a way out.

"From now on, show off your talents however you like, and try to amaze me. I want to be the first person to see you show off your skills."

Lin Xiaoxiao raised her eyebrows and nodded: "Okay."

After speaking, the two of them carefully got up. Han Qiushi followed the spot Lin Xiaoxiao pointed to and realized that he was only three or four steps away from the landmine.

He never expected there to be landmines here; if he had walked over, the consequences would have been unimaginable.

Seeing that Han Qiushi was so receptive, Lin Xiaoxiao pointed directly to the location of the cave.

"There are three people in this spot~"

"It was my exceptionally gifted nose that detected it," Lin Xiaoxiao said without changing her expression.

Han Qiushi: "..." His girlfriend really doesn't pretend at all.

If we stop pretending, this task will be simple.

Having found his way, Han Qiushi went directly to the outside of the cave and imitated bird calls, making several hurried calls.

The man, who was leisurely smoking, frowned slightly when he heard the birds chirping outside. After thinking for a couple of seconds, he had a bad feeling: "Don't make any noise, I'll go out and take a look."

The woman inside immediately tensed up, quickly pulled out her gun, cocked it, and listened intently, but apart from some bird calls and insect chirps, she couldn't hear anything else.

Hearing this, the woman whispered from behind, "There's clearly nothing there, why are you so nervous?"

“Something’s not right, this bird’s call is not right,” the man whispered in response.
