Chapter 160 The Pursuit from the KGB (2/2)

"I'm fine." Su Tang shook her head and took out a strangely styled military knife from the man.

“It’s standard KGB equipment.” Su Tang lowered her voice. “The KGB, the Soviet intelligence agency, they’re after me.”

"This is not the time to talk about this." Qin Ye interrupted her, listening to the sounds outside the alley. "The gunshots must have alerted the nearby police station and security department, and their backup could arrive at any moment. We must leave here immediately."

Su Tang nodded: "You're right, let's leave first."

The most urgent task at hand is to evacuate.

Qin Ye slung the unconscious KGB agent over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes, and held Su Tang tightly in his other hand, saying in a deep voice, "Come with me!"

Neither of them went home, nor did they return to the military region.

Qin Ye led Su Tang through a maze of alleyways, finally stopping in front of the entrance to an air-raid shelter that looked like it had been abandoned for many years.

The entrance was well disguised, piled with junk and weeds. Qin Ye skillfully moved the obstacles aside, revealing a dark hole.

"This is something I discovered before, just in case." He explained briefly, then led Su Tang and the prisoners inside and quickly restored the entrance's disguise.

The air-raid shelter was cold and damp, filled with the smell of dirt and mold. Only a few beams of light shone through the ventilation openings, barely enough to see anything.

Qin Ye threw the prisoner on the ground and tied him up tightly with the rope he carried with him.

A bucket of cold water jolted the KGB agent awake. The first thing he saw when he opened his eyes was two Asian faces. He was startled at first, but then immediately realized his situation.

Qin Ye's face was as cold as ice. He walked up to the agent, looked down at him, and asked in fluent Russian:

"Who sent you? What is your mission? How many accomplices do you have in Sun City?"

The agent's blue eyes were filled with contempt and disdain. He turned his head to the side, looking like a stubborn man who would rather die than submit.

Qin Ye kept a straight face; he had seen plenty of tough guys before.

Without saying a word, he stepped on the agent's wrist, and a crisp "crack" was heard. The sound of bones breaking was particularly jarring in the empty air-raid shelter.

"Ah... ooh..." The intense pain instantly turned the agent's face a deep purplish-red, cold sweat poured down his back, and his body convulsed violently as he let out a painful groan.

Even so, his eyes were still full of provocation and resentment. He gritted his teeth and tried to commit suicide.

"Want to die?" Qin Ye had anticipated this move. His fingers, like iron clamps, precisely pinched his chin, and he spat out a pill.

The excruciating pain and humiliation drove the KGB agent completely insane, and he uttered a string of incoherent and extremely vicious Russian insults.

Qin Ye's gaze grew colder and colder, and he was about to continue applying pressure when a slender hand gently pressed on his shoulder.

"Let me do it," Su Tang said calmly.

She walked up to the agent, who looked disheveled from his dislocated jaw, knelt down, and looked him in the eye.

She took out a roll of silver needles from her spatial storage.

She took out the thinnest one and gently twirled it between her fingers; the silver needle reflected a cold, eerie light in the dim light.

Then, in fluent, standard Russian, she said, "I am a doctor."

Su Tang smiled, a smile that was more terrifying than the devil in the eyes of the Soviet agent. "Do you know that in traditional Chinese medicine, there are 365 acupoints on the human body, like a sophisticated instrument?"

"And I happen to know that thirty-six of them are 'fatal weaknesses.' Of course... not the kind that will kill you..."

She paused, then waved the silver needle in front of him. "These acupoints, if you insert even the slightest bit of force, can make someone experience pain a hundred times more terrifying than death."

"The most wonderful thing is that it won't leave any scars or make you faint. You will feel the torment every second clearly and completely."
