Su Li thought it was Gu Huanian again, but she didn't expect that the person who came would be Xie Feng.

A hint of disgust flashed in her eyes. Why was he here?

Gou Sheng looked at the newcomer, a flash of displeasure in his eyes, and asked, "What are you doing at our house?"

Xie Feng looked directly at Su Li in the courtyard and said, "I'm looking for Su Li."

As he spoke, he pushed Gou Sheng aside and walked directly toward Su Li.

After regaining his footing, Gou Sheng also caught up.

"Sister, I'll make him leave right now."

He knew his sister hated this man; she had especially disliked him back in Lijiatun.

How come he still knows where his sister lives now that he's in Beijing?

Su Li waved to Gou Sheng.

Then he turned to Xie Feng and said, "Speak! What do you want from me?"

Xie Feng glanced at Gou Sheng; "Let him leave for a while, I want to talk to you alone."

"No need, just say what you want to say."

Xie Feng looked at Su Li. Since she didn't care if others knew, he had nothing to hide.

"I want to ask you for a few apples. You know I don't want the regular kind, but the kind you grow where you live. I think you understand what I mean."

Su Li did understand, but Xie Feng was far too arrogant.

Their relationship is so bad, why should she give it to him?

Because he's so big-faced?

"No"

"Su Li, I know you have it. As long as you're willing to give it to me, I promise I won't cause you any more trouble. Also, I've heard that Chief of Staff Zhen is investigating you lately."

"Do you think you can withstand his investigation? If you don't want your secrets to be exposed, I suggest you cooperate with me. If you're willing to cooperate, I'll help you settle those things, how about that?"

Su Li said calmly, "Is that all you wanted to say? Now that you've finished speaking, let me tell you, I don't think so. I don't have the apple you mentioned."

Xie Feng had actually thought about it for a long time before coming to find her, knowing that Su Li didn't like him.

But it seemed that his previous illness was about to be cured by the prescription that Su Jiaojiao had prepared.

"So, he's the only one who can threaten me?" Su Li looked at Xie Feng's face and said coldly, "I think you've grown an unnecessary tongue. If you don't want it anymore, I can grant your wish."

Su Li said this without any hint of joking.

It was as if she would really cut out his tongue if he dared to speak.

Xie Feng was frightened by his own thoughts.

Su Li is just a woman, how dare she do such a thing?

He must be scaring himself.

"Xie Feng, go! I won't give it to you, forget about it."

Gou Sheng, who was standing nearby, actually understood some of it; he knew what kind of effects his sister's apple must have.

This person wants it, and if he can't get it, he threatens his sister.

He really has no shame.

"Then don't blame me."

After saying that, Xie Feng didn't stay any longer and walked outside.

Although he did have some feelings for Su Li, this woman was too ungrateful.

Su Li finished setting everything up and left the space.

If Xie Feng makes any underhanded moves, she will be able to sense it from outside.

When Su Li returned home, she saw Gu Huanian chatting with Gou Sheng.

When Gu Huanian saw her return, his face was full of worry; "I just heard from Gou Sheng that Xie Feng threatened you? Don't worry, leave this to me."

Su Li glared at Gou Sheng, wondering why this brat told everyone everything.

"No need, I don't need your help."

Gu Huanian felt helpless; Ah Li was truly different from other women.

Other women would always back down when faced with a problem, but she never would.
