He must be incredibly bored to ask her out; he must be crazy.

"Yes, I asked you out because I wanted to know why you've been so against me being with her. I've asked you out today so I can get a clear answer from you."

After hearing this, Tang Xin felt a chill in her heart, and her previous mood vanished instantly.

She stood up, turned around, and was about to leave, leaving Gou Sheng somewhat confused. The food was already served, and she was leaving before he could even explain himself. He hadn't said anything to offend her, had he?

Gou Sheng quickly stepped forward and grabbed her arm; "Sit down and eat first."

Tang Xin said with a straight face, "Fine, we can eat, but don't mention Tang Yue's name to me for now."

Gou Sheng wanted to resolve the matter today. He didn't want Tang Xin to go crazy again and say random things to Yueyue, or introduce her to some shady characters.

Gou Sheng thought he should calm her down for now, and they could have a proper chat after dinner.

Tang Xin's expression softened a little when she saw her nod.

She walked back and sat down in her previous seat.

Gou Sheng ate very quickly, and Tang Xin frowned at him, saying, "Why are you eating so fast? I'd think you hadn't eaten for three days!"

Gou Sheng; he just wanted to finish his meal, get to the point, and resolve the matter quickly.

I never expected Tang to have so many worries. She even complains about him while he's eating.

She casually picked up a piece of her favorite braised fish from the plate and put it into Gou Sheng's bowl.

After finishing their meal, the two walked out of the state-run restaurant. Gou Sheng felt it was about time and said, "Tang Xin, I don't know why you hate me so much, but please believe me, my feelings for Yueyue are real. This semester, I skipped a grade and went straight to senior year. I only need to wait one year, and I'll marry her after I go to college. After Gou Sheng finished speaking, Tang Xin's face darkened even more.

The more Tang Xin listened to Gou Sheng's words, the angrier she became.

He would always buy Tang Yue delicious food, nice clothes, and interesting things.
