Peng Gang understood immediately.

Suddenly, a punch landed squarely on Wei Chenghu's stomach, followed by a sweeping right leg kick that knocked Wei Chenghu to the ground.

He then kicked Wei Chenghu several more times, causing Wei Chenghu to curl up like a shrimp.

He then pressed the muzzle of the gun directly against Wei Chenghu's forehead and said in a muffled voice, "Can't you answer my questions properly?"

Despite the excruciating pain in his abdomen, Wei Chenghu replied, "Sir, I answered!"

Upon hearing this, Peng Gang flew into a rage and slapped Wei Chenghu across the face twice.

Wei Chenghu was stunned when he was slapped like that for the first time.

He looked at Peng Gang in disbelief.

Li Zecheng also gave a cold laugh, picked up a piece of rag from the side and stuffed it into Wei Chenghu's mouth.

He then kicked Wei Chenghu several times.

This is truly a self-righteous fool who won't admit defeat until he faces dire consequences.

This scene left all the burly men behind Wei Chenghu completely bewildered.

Several people tried to help Wei Chenghu, but were immediately knocked to the ground by several gun butts.

Someone tried to use their weapon, but the next second they were pointed at by several rifles.

Li Zecheng said coldly, "Tie them all up! Since they don't want to listen to our rules, then let's teach them a lesson through our actions!"

Once the order was given, all the field team members sprang into action and stopped holding back.

Anyone who disobeys is immediately smashed with the butt of a gun.

Then I got punched and kicked.

At this point, the burly men finally quieted down.

More than twenty burly men wearing stab-proof vests were quickly tied up and made to squat on the ground.

A burly man shouted, "Young Master Wei is doing this for your own good! You can't treat the Wei family like this! In the entire Xiangnan region, only the Donghu Base is everyone's hope! In this apocalypse, we must unite!"

Li Zecheng smiled slightly, then looked at the other burly men and asked, "You all think so too?"

Now, all the burly men started talking at once.

"Yes, sir, just think about it. In the apocalypse, maybe one out of a hundred people will survive. But the Donghu base already has 20,000 people, and the population is growing. Maybe we can even recapture the county and the city in the future!"

"Sir, the Donghu base has more than 3,000 brave and daring soldiers. If they knew how you were treating Young Master Wei, they might send troops over. It's less than 300 kilometers from there!"

"Young Master Wei has a satellite phone. If you don't believe me, you can have him make a call to the Donghu base!"

"......"

Li Zecheng listened quietly with a blank expression.

A few minutes later, Li Zecheng looked at the obedient young women a dozen meters away and asked loudly, "Do you think so too?"

None of the women spoke, but they would occasionally steal a fearful glance at the burly men.

Li Zecheng gave a cold laugh, then walked up to the thin women and asked indifferently, "What about you? Do you think so too?"

Before the question was even out of his mouth, a rather old, thin woman suddenly regained some of her sparkle in her eyes and burst into laughter: "Haha, sir, we originally had more than 200 people, but these beasts have tormented us to the point that only 180 remain. When we learned about the Donghu base, we prepared to transfer there, but we abandoned more than 70 people. Do you think this is unity?"

A burly man roared, "Shut up! This is the only number of people we can fit!"

He then looked at Li Zecheng and said in a fawning tone, "Sir, as you know, it's the end of the world. Everything is very difficult, and sometimes we have to make some tough choices."

Hahahahahaha...

The thin woman burst into maniacal laughter again, her voice grating and like a ghost's wail.

Another thin woman suddenly said, "Is there really no room? There are so many other cars, but you drained all the oil and stored it away, and now you complain that they're all too weak to work, and that they're not good-looking, and what about the children..."

At this point, the woman suddenly sobbed, "Seventy people! In your eyes, they're not even worth a few barrels of gasoline!"

The burly man roared, "You ungrateful bastards! We took you away from that godforsaken place and even planned to send you to the Donghu Base, and now you're turning on us? Don't you want to live anymore!"

"Hehe, yeah, I don't want to live anymore. I don't know what the point of living is to suffer such humiliation and struggle to even get enough to eat."

As she spoke, the woman's eyes turned lifeless again.

Another woman suddenly spoke up: "Don't think we don't know why you're taking us to that base! Sir, they want to take us to that base and hand us over to those soldiers! And that base is definitely not safe. If you really go to that base, they will definitely disarm you and make you start as a laborer."

Li Zecheng asked with a smile, "How do you know all this?"

"Someone overheard that beast Wei Chenghu making a satellite phone call, and he said it himself!"

Where is the person who was eavesdropping?

"He was killed by Wei Chenghu a couple of days ago!"

Li Zecheng walked over to Wei Chenghu, squatted down, pulled the rag out of his mouth, and asked calmly, "Do you understand our rules now?"

Wei Chenghu spat out the sand in his mouth and said calmly, "Sir, I've told you everything I need to say. It's less than 300 kilometers from here to Donghu Base. If you drive fast, it only takes a few hours to get there. The base broadcasts 24 hours a day, so you must know about the situation there. I'm not lying to you."

Peng Gang suddenly slammed his fist into Wei Chenghu's thigh again, shouting angrily, "We asked you how many weapons Donghu Base has, how many heavy weapons, and why you're here! What kind of rubbish did you give us! Can't you understand us?!"
