The woman inside the house murmured softly, while Chen Ding outside felt as if his heart was being torn apart.

I don't know how much time has passed.

The door opened, and a man, while putting on his clothes, said with a smile, "You're really helpful. I'll come find you again next time."

"Okay, take care." A young woman wearing only underwear leaned against the door and smiled.

It was already winter, but she was covered in sweat.

She was somewhat thin, but rather pretty.

Her body was covered with marks left by men's lips.

After the man left, the young woman was about to close the door when she saw Chen Ding not far away.

Her body stiffened, and the smile on her face vanished.

With a soft sigh, the woman said gently, "Come in."

Chen Ding silently walked into the house, closed the door, and was just about to speak.

The woman sighed, "Coming to me at this hour, wanting it again? You've been hungry for so long, and you won't take the food I give you, yet you're thinking about doing 'that'? What a waste of your energy."

Chen Ding sighed and sat down next to Xiao Yan.

He took the wrapped food out of his underwear pocket and unwrapped it layer by layer until the plastic bag was open.

A rich aroma wafted out.

Chen Ding picked up two pieces of cured meat and smiled, "Take a look at this."

Xiao Yan smelled the fragrance and looked up.

I was stunned.

Those were actually two pieces of cured meat!

At the base, this thing is extremely precious, and even ordinary people from major powers cannot get their hands on it.

How could Chen Ding possibly have...?

Xiao Yan wasn't delighted; instead, she frowned and asked, "Chen Ding, what have you been doing?"

Chen Ding nodded and said with a smile, "We've known each other since we were kids. Have you ever seen me lie to you?"

Seeing the smile on Chen Ding's face, Xiao Yan inexplicably believed him.

Chen Ding said sincerely, "Xiao Yan, eat these. Consider this the first thing I've done for you from now on. I'm useless. Since I met you in this base, I've never been able to help you at all. Instead, I've made you suffer a lot."
