"Who goes there!" A man who was exercising spotted Jiang Wu, who was dressed in a strange way, and shouted angrily.

Jiang Wu said loudly, "Don't misunderstand, I was just passing by and had no ill intentions."

The men didn't believe Jiang Wu's story. They quickly dressed, grabbed their weapons, and surrounded him.

The burly young man in the lead, carrying a fire axe, asked menacingly, "How did you get in?"

Jiang Wu said calmly, "I climbed over the security bars. I don't want to cause trouble; I just want to leave this place."

The young man sneered, "You think this is your home? You can't just come and go as you please? Surround him!"

At the young man's command, the other seven men all surrounded him.

Jiang Wu shrugged and said helplessly, "How can I get over here? I don't want to fight."

The young man sized up Jiang Wu, then suddenly grinned and said, "Leave all your belongings, except for a pair of underwear, and you can go."

Jiang Wu drew his steel spear, sighed, and said, "Then let's have a fight. But I don't know my own strength. If I accidentally injure, cripple, or kill anyone, don't blame me."

After saying that, Jiang Wu swung the steel spear with one hand and smashed it into a sandbag next to him.

The loud explosion startled everyone.

The young man stared at Jiang Wu and said coldly, "Trying to scare me? There are eight of us."

Jiang Wu glanced at the women behind the man.

He narrowed his eyes slightly and said calmly, "If it weren't for the fact that you have to take care of these girls, I wouldn't waste my breath on you. I'll ask you one more time: are you moving aside or not?"

The young man sneered, "I'll teach you to be a liar..."

Before he could finish speaking, Jiang Wu had already thrown away the steel spear and charged straight at the young man.

Jiang Wu's speed was so fast that the young man was taken aback.

Just as he was about to raise his axe, Jiang Wu rushed to his side and punched him in the hand.

The axe fell directly to the ground.

Jiang Wu then kicked the young man in the thigh, sending him staggering back two or three meters before he collapsed to his knees.

A man with a baseball bat standing nearby just realized what was happening.

Before he could make a move, Jiang Wu punched him in the stomach, making him unable to straighten up.

The incident happened so suddenly that no one had time to react.

When they finally saw clearly, Hao Ge and Zhuang Ge were both lying on the ground groaning.

The other six people looked at each other, none of them daring to make a move.

Jiang Wu picked up the spear from the ground and said calmly, "I told you I don't want to cause trouble. I've killed hundreds of zombies outside, how can I not deal with a few weaklings like you? Also, I suggest you find a chance to escape the city. Staying in the city will only lead to your death sooner or later."

Without saying another word, Jiang Wu headed straight for the exit.

He didn't go all out; if he had really crippled or killed all these men...

Those girls could only wait to die.

None of the eight men dared to stop them.

All ten women stared in astonishment at Jiang Wu's departing figure.

Upon reaching the fifth-floor rooftop, Jiang Wu continued forward.

When I got to the crossroads, I realized that the old row of buildings I was in was actually L-shaped.

If you just turn around and find another place to cross the street, you can walk directly to the headquarters building.

Just as he was about to leave, Jiang Wu suddenly noticed that there was an underground passage not far downstairs.

The zombies have all come out to drink the rainwater, so there shouldn't be any zombies in the underground passage.

After observing for a while, Jiang Wu found a place covered with security bars and climbed down.

When Jiang Wu climbed up to the security bars on the second floor, he suddenly saw a zombie claw pull out from inside.

The target was his own face mask.

Those fingernails were several centimeters long, gleaming with a black sheen; they were clearly from an evolved zombie.

Jiang Wu was startled and simply jumped down. He really didn't know that the evolved zombies would hide.

Several zombies were drinking rainwater not far away on the ground when Jiang Wu suddenly appeared from the sky, catching them completely off guard.

As they excitedly pounced on Jiang Wu, he had already dashed into the underground passage.

Although the headquarters building is less than 50 meters from the exit of the underground passage, this area happens to be a high concentration of zombies.

Jiang Wu had to take a detour, and it took him more than 20 minutes to finally get into the underground parking lot of the headquarters building.

Forget about the main entrance on the first floor; there are hundreds of zombies scattered around there.

The underground parking lot was a mess.

There were more dead zombies than living ones. Luckily, he was wearing a gas mask, otherwise Jiang Wu thought he would have been overwhelmed by the stench.

As Jiang Wu walked, he observed the zombie corpses.

Axe wounds, knife wounds, club wounds, hammer wounds...

It was clearly caused by a group of people ganging up on him.

There are people here, and quite a few of them.

Jiang Wu saw that many of the parked vehicles had their trunks pried open, many windows were smashed, and the interiors of the cars had been ransacked.

Where are these people hiding?

Could the HR manager be in there too?

Jiang Wu strolled around the underground parking lot but didn't find anything else.

Jiang Wu dared not take the elevator, so he could only take the stairs.

Upon arriving on the first floor, the fire door in the stairwell was tightly closed, with iron chains wrapped around it and a large padlock hanging on it.

Jiang Wu had no choice but to continue walking up to the second floor.

Second floor, third floor, fourth floor...

All the fire doors in the stairwell were locked; the survivors must have had their reasons for doing so.

Jiang Wu had no intention of breaking the locks and forcing his way out.
