The three-meter-high wall surrounding the villa, along with the barbed wire fence, effectively eliminates the possibility of sneaking into the villa.

If you want to enter the mountain resort, the main entrance, the archway, is the only passage.

The flames and smoke from burning corpses are so conspicuous now, who knows if any survivors might come and try to steal things.

Even though Jiang Wu is now wealthy and powerful, he cannot tolerate others stealing his supplies without his permission.

Unless, of course, the survivors become laborers at the manor...

The two young men watched from outside for quite a while.

Seemingly confirming that there was no danger, he then hunched over and walked towards the small building next door.

Seeing that they were only holding kitchen knives and shovels, Jiang Wu relaxed.

He grabbed a wooden stick and charged forward.

"Tell me, why did you sneak into my territory? Were you trying to steal something? I hate thieves the most." Jiang Wu held a knife to the neck of the two men and asked leisurely.

The blond-haired young man quickly raised his hands in surrender and said nervously, "Brother, we really didn't know this was your territory. We just saw you smoking on the other side of the mountain and came to check it out."

Jiang Wu chuckled and said, "And while you're at it, see if you can steal some of my stuff, right? In this day and age, don't you know what's going on with you guys?"

The other young man with a short haircut ignored the knife at his neck and instead squinted at the burning flames seventy or eighty meters away.

His pupils contracted when he realized it was a pile of human remains burning.

He looked at Jiang Wu and asked, "Brother, have you cleared out all the zombies here?"

Jiang Wu sized up the short-haired youth and said calmly, "You've got guts. With a knife to your throat, you're still looking at other things. What's your name?"

Wu Ming calmly replied, "Wu Ming, a graduate of XX Police Academy, is a serving police officer."

Guo Yong's eyes darted around, and he quickly added, "Brother, my name is Guo Yong, we're together."

"It's a police officer," Jiang Wu said casually, putting away his knife. "It's the apocalypse now, so your old profession is meaningless. What are you doing here?"

Guo Yong quickly agreed, "Brother, you're right. I don't like him always putting on airs like a policeman either. We just want to find something to eat."

Jiang Wu glanced at the task.

[Task issued: The resort is currently lacking highly responsible employees. Please recruit good employees who love the resort. Both parties must be willing.]

[Task Reward: 20 "Lazy Points" for each good employee recruited, with a maximum of 500 employees]

Both parties must be willing, so you can't force the other party to join as a laborer... oops, I mean, as an employee.
