The apocalypse arrived overnight, zombies rampaged, creatures mutated, and the world became increasingly strange.
Giant pythons over a hundred meters long, giant crocodiles tens of meters lon...
From the moment they got off the bus, the battle between humans and zombies lasted for more than two hours.
The team members progressed from dealing with one zombie at a time, to two, then three, and eventually began to coordinate their movements and deal with several zombies simultaneously.
It can be said that the entire field team's ability to deal with zombies has made a qualitative leap.
At least a third of the hundreds of zombie corpses were killed by them.
Keep in mind that they were just a group of ordinary people wielding cold weapons, and such a record was something for them to be proud of.
After finishing their meal, Su Ziyu stood guard at the main gate.
The other team members were first responsible for collecting the weapons and ammunition from the zombie corpses, and then waited for orders.
Jiang Wu then sneaked into this prison for serious offenders.
He felt something was off while he was killing the zombies.
Moreover, not knowing what the situation was inside, Jiang Wu was still very cautious.
Even with an alligator skin trench coat protecting him, he'd still chicken out if he wanted to.
After crossing the prison gate, there is a wide, covered corridor, at the end of which is another open iron gate.
Inside the iron gate was a small square and a building that looked like the main building.
The corridor is lined with rooms on both sides; judging from the door numbers, they are all spaces like inspection rooms and reception rooms.
Some doors were tightly closed, while others were wide open.
The zombies here all seemed to have gone out and been killed by our group.
Anyway, when Jiang Wu walked in, he didn't see a single living zombie, but he did find a lot of human skeletons and rotting zombie corpses.
Walking up to a skeleton, Jiang Wu bent down and picked up the dusty automatic rifle from the ground.
He wasn't a military enthusiast and didn't know what model of gun it was.
I pulled out the magazine; it was empty.
Jiang Wu threw the rifle on the ground and scanned the area once more.
He was puzzled as to how the zombies inside knew there were people outside the big iron gate and then ran out to their deaths.
Could there be Type N zombies here?
Thinking of this possibility, Jiang Wu frowned.
He's not afraid of Type N zombies now, but the field team members are in a terrible situation.
That sonic attack alone would be enough to give them a run for their money, not to mention the hypnotic ability; it's practically impossible to defend against.
We still need to go in and take a look!
Jiang Wu, carrying his two swords, continued walking inside.
Arriving at the small square in front of the main prison building, one can see rotting zombie corpses and scattered human bones everywhere.
But there were no living zombies.
This situation is too bizarre.
After much thought, Jiang Wu concluded that there was only one possibility: there was an N-type zombie hidden inside, and it was even smarter than the N-type zombie he had encountered before.
It knew that the large wave of zombies it had just sent out couldn't defeat it, so it started playing hide-and-seek.
To verify this hypothesis, Jiang Wu rushed directly into the main building.
One layer, two layers, three layers, only human remains and zombie corpses, along with abandoned guns and copper bullet casings scattered everywhere.
There wasn't even a single living zombie.
"This Type N zombie is really bizarre," Jiang Wu thought to himself with a sneer.
Too lazy to climb the stairs, Jiang Wu jumped out of the third-floor window.
With a quick roll, he landed safely.
Remembering the simple map he had seen in front of the main building, Jiang Wu headed straight for the light offender ward.
We'll start with the easy cases and move on to the difficult ones. There are fewer minor offenders here, and the prison area is small, so we'll investigate this area first.
There's no other way; we have to find and kill that Type N zombie inside, otherwise the team members won't be able to get in.
The prison is so big; if Jiang Wu were to collect the evidence all by himself, he would be exhausted.
The prison is divided into two large sections. Because the prison mainly houses serious offenders, the section for serious offenders occupies at least two-thirds of the area.
Besides the 5-meter-high wall surrounding the minor offenders' ward, there are only two white prison buildings inside. The buildings are quite large and look like they can hold one or two thousand criminals.
Upon entering the white prison tower, not a single living zombie could be seen, and all the cell doors were wide open.
Strange, why are all the doors open?
Jiang Wu walked to the iron gate and inspected it carefully, then immediately gave it a good thud.
These iron gates are actually electric sliding doors!
Why do prisons use this kind of door?
Then, incredibly, someone cleverly used the master switch to open all the doors!
If this prison is full of these automatic doors, then there must be at least several thousand zombies inside.
Thinking of this, Jiang Wu felt countless "Holy crap" thoughts floating in his mind.
Speechless, Jiang Wu continued his work, first running around all the other living areas, work areas, and storage areas.
At his full running speed, it wouldn't take him long to circle around these places.
Unfortunately, there wasn't a single living zombie!
It didn't make sense, but it confirmed Jiang Wu's guess.
So there's only one truth: all the zombies in the entire prison were sent to the heavy-duty ward by the N-type zombies!
With his answer in mind, Jiang Wu slowly walked towards the intensive care unit.
Standing outside the entrance gate of the heavy prison area, Jiang Wu looked longingly at the wall in front of him.
The walls surrounding the intensive care unit are of the same grade as the outermost walls of the prison.
The only entrance is two large, electrically operated sliding iron gates.
Unfortunately, one of the doors had been moved more than halfway open, revealing a large opening nearly two meters wide.
Looking at the iron gate, Jiang Wu had a sudden thought: if he closed this big iron gate, could he block all the zombies inside?
Jiang Wu tried to push the iron gate, but the heavy iron gate did not budge.
Okay, I overestimated my strength.
This large iron gate is clearly electric, and since there's no electricity right now, even if they find a generator in the prison and connect the power, they might not be able to find the control switch.
