Song Ning looked over and saw that it really was a member of the Zhou family.

Zhou Cheng'an drove the oxcart in front, while Zhou Cheng sat on the other side of the cart. A quilt was spread on the cart, covering the person inside the quilt completely.

Zhou Ling'an is awake?

Song Ning stopped what he was doing and looked at the approaching oxcart.

Zhou Cheng saw her, jumped out of the car, and walked towards her.

"Uncle Zhou, you're back?"

"Er Ya, I've heard everything from Doctor Tang. Thank you so much this time. If it weren't for you, Ling An would probably be dead."

"I just happened to be passing by. Is Zhou Ling'an alright?"

"I'm afraid I won't be able to go to the academy anytime soon; I've already asked for leave."

“You really should get some rest, Uncle Zhou. If there’s anything I can help you with, just let me know.”

Zhou Cheng nodded, got into the car, and headed home.

Zhou Ling'an did not show up, and it is unknown whether he is aware of his physical condition.

Song Ning watched them leave, so engrossed that she forgot Xu Feng was beside her.

Song Ning snapped out of her daze and suddenly remembered that the person in front of her was Xu Jiaojiao's younger brother.
