Luo Xiu clutched his throbbing wound and bit his lip until it bled.

Jealousy spread from the depths of his heart, tearing at his flesh and blood.

Yuri still couldn't let go of Luo Xiu in her heart.

Luo Xiu lay on the ambulance, gazing at the scenery passing by outside the window.

Yuri smiled and got into her car.

Lu Zhiwei, holding her bag, stood on the steps, shivering from the cold.

After getting out of the car, Shen Jinmo took off his long black coat and draped it over her shoulders: "Want to get in?"

Lu Zhiwei felt the effects of the alcohol, her cheeks flushed, and her head spinning.

I don't want to wait for the designated driver in the cold wind anymore.

He let Shen Jinmo help him into the passenger seat.

Before starting the car, Shen Jinmo thoughtfully fastened her seatbelt, and he did his best to be gentle and considerate in every action.

Lu Zhiwei thought of Shen Jinmo from before, who was also a pampered young master who never knew how to serve others.

In the years since she married him, she has taken care of him in every little detail.

Worried that she might twist her neck while swaying from the alcohol, he even brought her a neck pillow from the back seat to support her: "Sit tight, I'm about to start."

"Okay." Lu Zhiwei nodded obediently.

Shen Jinmo watched her lean back in her chair, her eyes closed, her curled eyelashes casting a faint shadow on her fair skin, making her look serene and gentle.

He couldn't resist reaching out to pat her little head.

The hand had just reached out.

Shen Jinmo realized he was overstepping his bounds, so he slowly withdrew his hand and placed it on the steering wheel.

With a light touch on the accelerator, the streamlined car drove off.

Shen Jinmo is opening very slowly.

If we drive faster, we can get Lu Zhiwei home sooner.

He was a little greedy; he wanted to spend some quiet time alone with her.

Lu Zhiwei, whom he usually saw, was always prickly and never wanted to look at him twice.

"Is your car a tortoise? Crawling on the highway?" Lu Zhiwei, who was propping her forehead up with her hand, suddenly turned her head and glanced at Shen Jingmo.

Having been caught deliberately driving slowly, Shen Jinmo coughed lightly to try and cover up his mistake: "I thought you were asleep, and I was afraid that driving too fast would make you uncomfortable."

"I'm awake now, can we speed things up?" His son was waiting for him at home, and he had no time to waste on the street with this jerk.

"Hmm." Shen Jinmo floored the accelerator, driving at the level of a top racer.

The car sped off in a flash.

Lu Zhiwei lost her balance and her swaying body involuntarily leaned towards Shen Jinmo, hooking her arms around his neck.

The atmosphere inside the carriage became particularly eerie.

Shen Jinmo's body stiffened slightly, and he dared not move.

"You pounced on me yourself, it has nothing to do with me," Shen Jinmo said innocently.

"I suspect you did this on purpose." Lu Zhiwei awkwardly released Shen Jinmo's neck and turned her face to the window.

After safely dropping Lu Zhiwei off downstairs, Shen Jinmo did not get out of the car.

"Remember to have the maid cook a bowl of hangover soup tonight, or you'll have a headache the next day."
