Chapter 44 The wind blows, and his heart moves

After lunch, Xu Xian and Jiang Shibai returned to Repulse Bay. They were afraid that Aunt Liu would find out something was wrong at home, so they asked the driver to pick her up from the old house tomorrow on the pretext of packing their luggage.

She acted first and reported later. There was no guarantee that Li Nanyue would come to hold him accountable, and it would be so embarrassing to get him into trouble.

Jiang Shibai was just asking casually, not really going, so he nodded and said, "Then I'll take you there."
