Chapter 163 Going to the Xiao Family

As night fell, Xiao Qianqian and her friends drove to the villa that Xiao's mother and her family had recently bought—a three-unit townhouse.

Xiao's mother and father, along with their two adorable children, were already eagerly waiting at the door. When they saw their car arrive, they carried their two children to greet them.

Ye's mother and father had already gotten out of the car and were taking out the gifts they had prepared from the trunk. Xiao Qianqian was still getting Ye Bosen's wheelchair. The two children couldn't wait to climb out of the car when they saw their older brother and sister.

"Yueyue, Doudou, do you miss Grandma?"

When Yueyue and Doudou heard their grandmother's voice, they nodded like chicks pecking at rice, their little eyes fixed on the older brother and sister being held in their grandmother's and grandfather's arms.

The two children in their arms became restless when they saw other children coming. They kicked their legs and fussed to get down. So, Xiao's mother and father put down the two little ones they were holding, and the two little ones ran towards their younger siblings like madmen.

When the older sister, Beibei, saw her cute little sister, she generously gave her favorite little duck toy to her; "Sister~ Sister~".

Yueyue took the toy from her older sister, happily walked over and gave her sister a kiss, then babbled a few words that only they could understand.

The two sisters quickly became friends. The older sister, Beibei, went over, took her younger sister's hand, and prepared to go inside. She wanted her sister to play with her toys, as she had many toys she wanted to share with her.

The young man, Tao Tao, walked up to Dou Dou and they looked at each other for a few moments. Then, Tao Tao took out a small gun from his bag, looked at Dou Dou again, and his meaning was clear: Want to play?

DouDou nodded very coolly, and then the two little ones walked into the villa one after the other.

When Xiao's parents saw that their children had found playmates, they stopped caring about them.

Looking up, I saw my parents walking over, each carrying a lot of things in their hands.

"Father-in-laws, why are you carrying so much stuff? I asked Qianqian to bring you over for a meal, why are you being so polite?"

"This is just a small token of our appreciation," Mother Night said with a smile.

Xiao Qianqian also pushed Ye Bosen over.

"Dad, Mom, it's been a long time. How are you both doing?" Ye Bosen greeted them with a smile.

"Okay, okay, we're all fine now. Asen, how's your leg? Is it feeling better?"

"Much better, I think I'll recover soon. Thank you for your concern, Mom."

"That's good, that's good."

"Quick, quick! Everyone, stop chatting outside and come inside!"

Mr. and Mrs. Xiao quickly stepped forward to help take the things and went into the house together.

Upon entering the house, the Ye family members greeted the Xiao family members one by one.

After the family sat down, they began to chat. Looking at the well-behaved and adorable Beibei and Taotao, Mother Ye grew more and more fond of them, and said, "My dear in-laws, these two children are so lovable. We can let them play together often in the future, so they can keep each other company."

Xiao's mother smiled and nodded in agreement, "Yes, I'm relieved to see them having so much fun."

At that moment, Yueyue and Doudou were having a great time playing with their older siblings in the living room, their laughter filling the air. The adults, listening to the children's laughter, also wore happy smiles.

"Ah Sen, is your leg feeling any better?" The grandfather, who was sitting to the side drinking tea, asked with concern when he saw his favorite grandson-in-law.

"Much better, Grandpa. I reckon it won't be long before I can walk normally again."

"That's good. Do you have time to play a game with Grandpa after dinner? I've been looking forward to it for a long time," Grandpa asked with a smile.

"No problem, Grandpa. Now that you've moved to the capital, I'll come visit you whenever I have time."

"That's wonderful."

"Dad, you don't have to worry anymore. I already told you to move in. There will be plenty of time for Asen to play chess with you. Wasn't I right?"

"Yes, yes, yes, this is the only thing you did well, you brat."

Ye Bosen raised an eyebrow and asked his father-in-law what he meant.

"Your grandfather initially didn't want to move here. He said he'd spent most of his life in Hong Kong and didn't want to leave the place he'd lived for so long. We had to persuade him a lot, telling him that moving here would bring him closer to you, and that he could come over whenever he wanted to play chess."

Ye Bosen never expected such a thing to happen.

"Your grandfather's greatest hobby in his life was playing chess, but as you know, I'm not very good at it, and your older brother doesn't like it either. He can't find anyone to play against, and he's always sighing and complaining."

"Grandpa, don't worry. Give me a call whenever you want to play chess, and I promise I'll be there anytime."

Ye Bosen felt that his father-in-law's family had treated him very well, and he was willing to make a promise to them.

"That's great, Asen! Grandpa will have to visit you often from now on."

"Okay, no problem."

“My dear in-law, I also know a little Go. I’ll keep you company when I have time,” said Father Ye, who was also a Go enthusiast.

"That's great! Now I won't have to worry about finding someone to play chess with." Old Master Xiao smiled and took a sip of tea, in a very happy mood.

On the other side of the living room, the three sisters-in-law sat together.

"What? Sister-in-law, you're pregnant?" Xiao Qianqian looked at her blonde, blue-eyed foreign sister-in-law.

“Yes, it’s been almost three months. Didn’t your mom tell you?” said Shanshan, your sister-in-law and best friend, from the side.

"No, Mom might have been busy and forgot."

"Mom has been busy with the move lately, so she probably forgot about it."

"So, sister-in-law, how are you feeling?"

"It's alright," the older sister-in-law said, her Chinese not very fluent and not very good at speaking.

"Wow, your baby will be mixed-race, he'll be so beautiful! I can't wait!" Xiao Qianqian was already imagining what her future nephew and niece would look like.

"Yes, she must be very beautiful." Shan Shan also cupped her face and imagined it.

"What are you two talking about? You look like you're having a sweet dream." The older brother came over after finishing his work, and then looked at his wife with a questioning gaze.

"Now that the eldest brother is here, let's talk about our future nephews and nieces."

"Future nephews and nieces?"

"Yes, mixed-race people must be very beautiful."

"So that's what it is."

"Otherwise what?"

Upon hearing this, the older brother smiled happily, gently stroking his wife's belly with tender eyes.

"I hope the child will be as beautiful and lovely as you," he said softly.

"Of course! With a sister-in-law as beautiful as you, your child is sure to be good too," Xiao Qianqian said with a smile.

"Dinner is ready," the deliveryman announced loudly as he came out of the kitchen.

"Hey buddy, what are you doing in the kitchen? We came here and didn't see you anywhere. We thought you weren't home."

"No way, my dear sister is coming, I have to stay home."

"That's more like it. You didn't cook, did you?"

"I make baby food for the children, and they're used to what I make; they won't eat what the chef makes."

"My dear brother, you're a very responsible father."
