Chen Yu was holding a half-eaten piece of bread in his hand, with some breadcrumbs still on his mouth.

Lin Lele immediately understood what was going on. Thinking about how her stomach was growling with hunger while Chen Yu was secretly eating under the covers, she became furious and shouted, "Well, sir, you're stealing food! I'm starving..."

Chen Yu was startled by Lin Lele's action. If he woke up his "roommates," he would be really embarrassed. So he immediately stuffed the remaining half of the bread into Lin Lele's mouth to shut her up.

However, the people inside the dormitory remained sound asleep, showing no signs of being disturbed. Their breathing remained steady and long, as if they were in another world, isolated from the noise of the outside world.

Having been with Chen Yu for so long, she's seen dead people before, and she's even personally shot and killed more than one or two people.

Chen Yu rubbed his eyes, looked around, and found that everyone else in the dormitory had already gotten up. Some were making their beds, while others were already dressed and ready to go out.

He turned to look at Lin Lele and found that she had also sat up, with a look of confusion and bewilderment on her face, clearly not yet fully awake from her drowsiness.

"Lele, are you alright?" Chen Yu asked softly, reaching out to gently pat Lin Lele's shoulder, trying to offer her some comfort and strength.

Lin Lele looked up at Chen Yu, a trace of confusion still lingering in her eyes, but she quickly regained her composure.

"I...I'm fine, I just feel really strange, like I had a very, very long dream."

She rubbed her temples, trying to recall what had happened, but her memory was as blurry as if shrouded in fog.
