A small township factory's second-generation heir,
faces imminent factory bankruptcy,
but then acquires a couple of objects from another world.
Just as Han Ming had finished setting up the glasses and was about to continue telling Dong Xiaolu the story, a notification appeared on his glasses:
"The printing distance meets the standard. Shall we start the device demonstration?"
Han Ming was stunned when he saw the prompt. It seemed the X-ray printer was going to demonstrate for him?
Dong Xiaolu noticed that Han Ming, who had been talking non-stop, had suddenly fallen silent, and asked him what was wrong.
Han Ming honestly told her the glasses tip, and Dong Xiaolu was overjoyed to hear it.
I came to the workshop today to see the printer's powerful capabilities, and now that the equipment is giving me a notification, that's perfect. Let's get Han Ming to start it up.
Since his girlfriend had spoken, Han Ming had no reason to disobey. Following the instructions in his glasses, he took the X-ray printer out of the box.
With the projector lens facing down, there's a hole on the overhead frame. Place the X-ray printer lens on top, and it fits perfectly without obstructing anything.
At this moment, a printed projection appeared in the glasses, and Han Ming looked down at it.
The glasses showed a white area about 1 meter long and wide on the ground. If you tilted your body slightly, you could see that this area seemed to have height, like a three-dimensional area.
Han Ming asked Dong Xiaolu below if she could see a white box, but Dong Xiaolu shook her head.
Han Ming was frustrated. Was it only he, who wore glasses, who could see these things? If so, he couldn't share them with his girlfriend, which was so boring.
Looking at Dong Xiaolu below, who was full of anticipation, Han Ming was unwilling to give up and searched various things on the glasses interface.
Persistence pays off, and Han Ming actually found the relevant settings.
There is a setting for whether to authorize visible objects. The description says that it generates a corresponding feature code by scanning the object's eye retina, and authorizes relevant personnel to see the operation of the ray.
Upon seeing that there was a solution, Han Ming immediately turned his gaze to Dong Xiaolu. Almost instantly, his glasses indicated that the relevant data had been acquired and synchronized to the printer.
At this moment, Dong Xiaolu below exclaimed:
"Han Ming, Han Ming, I see it! It's a white frame, like a projection, or even a 3D one."
Hearing his girlfriend say that, he knew the setup was successful.
Following the instructions of his glasses, Han Ming told his girlfriend to move away, then climbed down the bike frame and pulled Dong Xiaolu back.
Suddenly, the white frame transformed into a large screen, roughly the size of the 120-inch projection screen in the conference room of the internet company.
The screen displayed various data and instructions. It turned out that the white 3D frame at the beginning was the 3D working area that this mini X-ray printer could print.
This work area is not a fixed scale; it is variable.
For example, the length, width, and height of the printed item can change continuously, though it is not infinitely extended.
The linear action distance limit of this X-ray printing machine is 300 meters.
Simply put, within the three-dimensional area of the printed object, any one of its length, width, and height can be as far as 300 meters.
Dong Xiaolu was completely bewildered by the data displayed on the projector and could only ask Han Ming for help.
Han Ming had studied X-ray glasses before, and now, after the printer projected the images, he had a better understanding of the concepts. So, he tried to explain it to Dong Xiaolu in a simple way.
The X-ray glasses and this X-ray printer have two important components.
One type is the "ray activator," and the other is the "energy particle." To generate super rays, the "ray activator" is needed to activate the "energy particle."
The X-ray glasses Han Ming wears now have built-in "X-ray activators" in their lenses and the projection lens of his printer.
The projected image explains that it is made of a special substance that can automatically absorb "energy particles" and can also emit and recover particles.
There are two models of "ray activators": the glasses use a "micro-energy activator", and the printer lens integrates both a "micro-energy activator" and a "super-energy activator".
The "micro-energy activator" has a light energy conversion function, similar to a solar generator. It can utilize more light sources, such as sunlight and lamplight, to replenish the activator's energy.
As for the other state of particle motion, it requires an external energy source to activate the "energy particle" into a "super-energy super ray".
This super-energy state of radiation can decompose, recombine, and print non-biological objects.
According to Han Mingkan, in super-power mode, one unit of energy particles can print 100 kilograms of material per hour.
Dong Xiaolu then asked about the printing range. Han Ming explained that the maximum printing length in the super-energy mode was controlled at 300 meters to facilitate constant monitoring of the "micro-energy super ray".
"The longest is only 300 meters? Can it be expanded?"
Dong Xiaolu asked.
"It doesn't seem likely. At least the instructions say this printer is a miniature model. As for whether there are other models, we don't know. This one just fell from the sky."
Han Ming explained.
"However, I found that the energy particle storage space in the printer was not full, and there were still many empty spaces."
Han Ming pointed to the projected image and said to Dong Xiaolu.
Upon hearing this, Dong Xiaolu also looked on the screen and indeed found it.
The "Energy Particle" storage slot displays two indicators: 1/50 and 1/1. According to the instructions, 1/1 indicates that the particle storage slot of the "Micro-Energy Activator" is currently full.
Another 1/50 represents 49 units of particle storage space remaining free for the "Super Activator".
Han Ming and Dong Xiaolu looked at each other, wondering if filling these spaces would expand the printer's printing area.
The idea of upgrading the printer energized the two, and they continued digging deeper. Various specifications confirmed that it indeed had 49 particle storage bits.
If fully filled, the "Super-Powered Super Ray" print will weigh 50 times 100 kg, which is 5000 kg.
