A small township factory's second-generation heir,
faces imminent factory bankruptcy,
but then acquires a couple of objects from another world.
Han Ming didn't care what Tian Jiahua thought; anyway, the guy's inner thoughts were being monitored by the X-ray glasses. The artifact's analysis was indeed correct; the young master of the Tian family had quite a few thoughts running through his mind, confirming that the X-ray glasses' data was accurate.
While sipping his tea, Han Ming secretly observed Tian Jiahua's expression, silently calculating his next move. Tian Jiahua sat opposite him, seemingly calm and composed, but the subtle changes in her eyes did not escape Han Ming's notice.
The atmosphere was somewhat delicate; no one dared to utter a sound, fearing to break the seemingly calm but actually turbulent situation. Han Ming gently put down his teacup, cleared his throat, and said, "Young Master Tian, let's not beat around the bush. How exactly do you intend to resolve this matter?"
Tian Jiahua frowned and snorted coldly: "Han Ming, don't think you can control me just because you have those broken glasses. Things aren't as simple as you think."
Han Ming smiled slightly: "Young Master Tian, you can't say that. I just want fairness and justice so that everyone can get by."
Tian Jiahua's eyes flickered, and he fell into a brief moment of contemplation. Han Ming was not in a hurry and waited quietly for his response. After a while, Tian Jiahua raised his head, his tone softening slightly: "Han Ming, let's each take a step back; perhaps there's still room for negotiation on this matter."
Han Ming was secretly delighted, but he remained calm on the surface: "Young Master Tian, please tell me your thoughts first."
Tian Jiahua paused for a moment, then began to explain his conditions. Han Ming listened attentively, nodding slightly from time to time, and occasionally raising his questions and concerns. The two argued back and forth.
Time passed slowly, and the sunlight outside the window gradually slanted westward, making the room dim and yellowish. Han Ming stood up, walked to the window, looked at the scenery outside, and said, "Young Master Tian, I will consider your conditions, but I also hope you can try to see things from my perspective."
Tian Jiahua said impatiently, "Han Ming, don't push your luck. I've already made a lot of concessions."
Han Ming turned around and looked directly into Tian Jiahua's eyes: "Young Master Tian, I'm not trying to take advantage of you, I just want to find a win-win situation."
Just as the two were at an impasse, Tian Jiahua's phone suddenly rang. After answering the call, his expression became even more grim. Han Ming secretly guessed that this call might be the turning point.
Sure enough, when Tian Jiahua spoke again, her tone was more urgent: "Han Ming, let's not delay any longer. Let's do as I just said and resolve this matter as soon as possible."
Han Ming knew this was the best outcome he could achieve. Although not entirely satisfactory, it was the best he could do for now. He nodded: "Alright, Young Master Tian, I hope this collaboration goes smoothly."
Leaving the meeting place, Han Ming let out a long sigh of relief. He knew this was just the beginning, and many problems would remain to be solved. But at least, this first step had been taken.
Back home, Han Ming lay exhausted on the sofa, reflecting on the day's events. Just then, his phone rang; it was his friend Li Ming calling.
"Han Ming, I heard you talked to Tian Jiahua today, how did it go?" Li Ming asked eagerly.
Han Ming recounted what had happened with a wry smile.
Li Ming sighed, "Sigh, it wasn't easy. But it's already quite good that we've reached this point. What are your plans next?"
Han Ming sat up straight, his eyes resolute, and said, "What else can we do but take it one step at a time? I refuse to believe I can't beat him."
In the days that followed, Han Ming threw himself into his work, pushing forward with the various tasks according to the agreement reached with Tian Jiahua. However, he encountered a variety of unexpected difficulties and obstacles along the way.
A sudden change of heart from his partner, a shortage of funds, and technical difficulties—one problem after another left Han Ming overwhelmed. But he did not back down; with his tenacious perseverance and intelligence, he solved these problems one by one.
During this process, Han Ming also made some new friends and business partners who were moved by his courage and determination and offered their help. With their assistance, Han Ming's business gradually improved.
Several months later, the seemingly difficult project finally achieved a stage of success. Han Ming stood by the office window, gazing at the city's bustling night view, his heart filled with mixed emotions.
Just then, the phone rang; it was Tian Jiahua calling.
"Han Ming, congratulations! I didn't expect you to actually do it." Tian Jiahua's tone was filled with surprise and admiration.
Han Ming smiled and said, "Young Master Tian, this is all thanks to your 'support'."
Both of them laughed, and their past hostility seemed to have dissipated considerably at that moment.
"Han Ming, let's cooperate again in the future if there's an opportunity," Tian Jiahua said.
“Sure, Mr. Tian, you’re welcome anytime,” Han Ming replied.
After hanging up the phone, Han Ming knew that the road ahead was still long, but he was ready to face all challenges.
