A small township factory's second-generation heir,
faces imminent factory bankruptcy,
but then acquires a couple of objects from another world.
Han Ming now truly considers the factory his home, except for taking Dong Xiaolu home for dinner every few days.
He lived at the factory the rest of the time, and so did his girlfriend, who slept in her single dormitory room every day.
Han Ming's mother, Chen Fang, often invited them to stay at home, but Han Ming thought that since he and Dong Xiaolu were not married yet, living together at home every day would only invite gossip.
Anyway, the conditions at the factory are pretty good now. We can eat at the canteen, where all three meals a day are readily available.
Moreover, there are quite a few young people of similar age to chat with, which gives it a bit of the atmosphere of living in a dormitory back in college.
Today was supposed to be a day to go home and have dinner with his parents, but Han Ming, who had just become a multi-millionaire, thought tomorrow would be a day off.
I wanted to take this opportunity to invite the entire company to dinner, so I had to call my mom to ask for leave and postpone my trip home by a day.
Having a meal together is probably the best way for a team to communicate and build relationships.
Besides, the oldest employees in the company, the game technology department staff, have only been with the company for three months, not to mention the operations department staff who have only been there for a little over a week.
Therefore, Han Ming created this opportunity for everyone to get together and get to know each other, which also lays the foundation for better work in the company in the future.
As darkness fell, apart from the three employees who remained at the company on duty, the rest were all taken by Han Ming to a restaurant in town for a meal.
Liang Jianxing and Zhao Lihua were originally invited to come along, but those two are currently busy sorting out matters at the machinery factory.
Seeing that Han Ming and his group were all young people, they made up an excuse not to come, so that the two old guys wouldn't be there and the young people wouldn't enjoy their meal.
Han Ming didn't force them. He knew that the two men were quite concerned about the machinery factory. With the water pump order, the small factory had improved and their recent profits were quite good.
Zhao Lihua was skeptical about how the factory suddenly received so many water pump orders.
It was only through Han Mingzhuang's and Liang Jianxing's combined efforts to deceive Zhao Lihua that she reluctantly believed the so-called debt settlement products received by the game company, which would be conveniently sold by the machinery factory.
As for the transactions between the game company and the machinery factory, it was explained that these orders were considered as site rental fees paid by the game company to the machinery factory.
Han Ming called several black taxis from the town to pick up the twenty or so people.
Now that I have so much money, I'm thinking of buying two cars for official use.
It's really not dignified to call an unlicensed taxi all the time when something happens.
When the group arrived at the restaurant that Han Ming had booked, they filled two round tables.
They were all young people, so it was easy for them to warm up to each other. After a few drinks, the colleagues who were initially a bit reserved started putting their arms around each other's shoulders.
Because they were all around the same age, and because Han Ming, the boss, and Dong Xiaolu, the soon-to-be boss's wife, had been living and eating with them for some time, the group of young people weren't too reserved.
Several guys who were usually close to Han Ming encouraged him to toast Han Ming. When the girls saw that the guys were so enthusiastic, they followed suit and came over to toast Dong Xiaolu.
Han Ming considered himself to have a decent alcohol tolerance, but even the best sheepdog can't withstand a multitude of wolves.
These guys weren't satisfied with just one toast; they started clamoring for everyone to offer three toasts.
Han Ming was in a bind. If he drank that much alcohol, even with X-ray glasses to help him sober up, he would definitely die.
Meanwhile, the female employees were not only cheering from the sidelines, but also playfully toasting the boss's wife, Dong Xiaolu, while holding their wine glasses.
Especially the 200-pound Ruoxi girl was the most enthusiastic.
Han Ming realized this wouldn't do; he and his girlfriend might end up drunk tonight, and being drunk wasn't a pleasant experience. He had to come up with a plan.
Han Ming quickly thought for a moment and came up with a plan. He addressed the group of young people:
"I'm so sorry, your future boss's wife and I are planning to have a baby. Drinking too much alcohol might affect the next generation."
The young men under his command were somewhat stunned when they heard their boss say that.
Everyone was wondering, "I haven't heard anything about the boss and his fiancée getting married, so why are they having a baby now? Are they planning to get pregnant first and buy the ticket later?"
However, seeing Han Ming speaking so seriously, everyone was still unable to figure out what the boss really meant.
Those with quick minds would have guessed from the boss's words that he meant to drink less alcohol, and would have thought that his plan to have a baby was just an excuse to avoid drinking.
However, since the boss has said he doesn't want them to drink too much, they can't be too rowdy. If they go too far and anger the boss, things won't go well.
Everyone's holding a golden rice bowl now, so they're reluctant to let it go.
Han Ming was secretly pleased that his performance had fooled his subordinates, but he didn't want them to be too reserved, otherwise how could the dinner party continue?
I clinked glasses with each person who came to offer a toast, took a small sip of wine, and that was enough of a courtesy.
The excuse has changed to drinking less to promote cell activity, and who knows, you might end up having twins.
The employees found their boss's words amusing, and since each of them had clinked glasses with him as a matter of courtesy, they temporarily stopped crowding around Han Ming.
Dong Xiaolu was also being pestered by several girls to drink, but even though it was red wine, she couldn't just keep drinking it glass after glass.
Upon hearing her boyfriend bragging to his subordinates about having a baby with her, Xiu Mei's face immediately flushed red.
She secretly blamed her boyfriend, thinking how could he talk so recklessly? They hadn't even taken that step yet, so how could they be talking about having a baby?
