The last few words were spoken in a soft, almost murmured voice, tinged with a hint of shyness.

After saying that, she turned and went to the bedroom, taking out two sets of pajamas.

She handed one of the sets to Lu Qingzhou, a blush rising on her face, and said shyly, "These are your pajamas."

Lu Qingzhou took the pajamas and quickly thanked her, "Thank you, Sister Shaohua."

Mu Shaohua turned around, smiled charmingly, and said softly, "We're family now, so don't be so polite, or I'll feel very uncomfortable!"

Watching Mu Shaohua gracefully walk into the bathroom, Lu Qingzhou looked down at the pajamas in her hand, a slight smile unconsciously appearing on her lips. Then she turned and walked towards another bathroom.

About ten minutes later, Lu Qingzhou turned off the shower, dried himself off with a towel, put on the pajamas Mu Shaohua had prepared for him, turned off the light, and went out.

As soon as Lu Qingzhou stepped out of the bathroom, he felt a strange sensation.

All the lights in the living room were turned off, leaving it pitch black. Fortunately, a faint light shone in from outside, allowing him to vaguely make out the general layout of the living room.

Suddenly, a figure darted out from the side and crashed into his arms.

At first, Lu Qingzhou was startled and was about to cry out when a familiar fragrance rushed into his nose.

Lu Qingzhou was stunned. He knew it was Sister Shaohua.

Before he could react, a pair of soft, jade-like hands gently wrapped around his neck.

Lu Qingzhou subconsciously reached out and wrapped his arms around her slender, smooth waist.

Although there was a thin nightgown between them, the intense heat emanating from Mu Shaohua instantly captivated Lu Qingzhou.

Mu Shaohua breathed out warm breaths, tilted her head slightly, looked at Lu Qingzhou's hazy face, and whispered with a hint of shyness and anticipation in her voice, "Kiss me!"

At this moment, no words are needed.

Lu Qingzhou slowly lowered his head and kissed those soft red lips deeply.

The two embraced and kissed passionately.

Lu Qingzhou put his arm around Mu Shaohua's slender waist, which was without an ounce of fat, and walked towards the bedroom in the dim light.

Just as he was about to open the master bedroom door, Mu Shaohua, her eyes glazed, murmured softly, "Go to the guest bedroom next door!"

Lu Qingzhou then suddenly remembered that Momo was still fast asleep in the master bedroom.

So the two of them went to the door of the adjacent secondary bedroom.

Mu Shaohua reached out and turned the doorknob. The door was gently pushed open and then slowly closed again.

After walking a few steps to the bedside, Lu Qingzhou gently placed Mu Shaohua on the bed.

Mu Shaohua hugged Lu Qingzhou's neck tightly, and the two rolled over and tumbled onto the bed.

As the pajamas gently drifted to the floor, the atmosphere grew increasingly enchanting.

Just as Lu Qingzhou was about to proceed to the next step, a clear cry suddenly rang out from the next bedroom: "Mom... Dad..."

The sudden sound startled the two of them.

The two of them tensed up suddenly and stood frozen in place.

A moment later, Mu Shaohua hurriedly pushed Lu Qingzhou off her and said anxiously, "Quickly get dressed, Momo is awake!"

Lu Qingzhou snapped out of her daze and hurriedly started dressing, muttering under her breath as she did so, "This child, she really knows how to pick her time."

Mu Shaohua was also filled with frustration and helplessness, but she didn't have time to think about it. She quickly put on her pajamas, her hair falling messily over her shoulders, and hurriedly ran to the next bedroom.

Lu Qingzhou followed closely behind, both of them walking with a somewhat hurried pace.

As soon as I entered the bedroom, I saw Xiao Momo sitting on the bed with tears in her eyes. She had just woken up and was frightened by a nightmare.

Mu Shaohua felt a pang of heartache and quickly stepped forward, pulling Xiao Momo into a tight embrace. She gently comforted her, "Baby, what's wrong? Did you have a nightmare?"

Momo's small body trembled as she buried her head in Mu Shaohua's arms.

Her voice trembled with tears: "Mommy, I dreamt of lots of scary monsters, and they were trying to catch me..."

Mu Shaohua felt extremely sorry for Xiao Momo and gently patted her back.

Her movements were so gentle, as if she were afraid of hurting her, and her voice was so tender it could melt your heart: "Baby, don't be afraid, it's just a dream, it's all fake. Mommy's here, the monster won't take you away."

Lu Qingzhou stood to the side, scratching his head somewhat awkwardly.

Seeing the heartwarming scene between the mother and daughter, he felt a touch of emotion within him.

He walked over, squatted down, and gently patted Xiao Momo's head.

With a gentle smile on his face, he said, "Momo, Daddy is here too. Daddy will always protect you and will never let the monster hurt you."

Momo raised her tear-streaked head and glanced at Lu Qingzhou.

She reached out her tiny hand to Lu Qingzhou, who quickly picked her up!

Gently soothe the little girl's emotions!

Mu Shaohua's lips unconsciously curled up, her eyes filled with satisfaction.

Once Xiao Momo's emotions had calmed down a bit, she took Momo from Lu Qingzhou's arms and said to Lu Qingzhou, "Go and pour her a glass of warm water. I'll coax her to sleep a little longer."

Lu Qingzhou nodded, turned around and walked quickly towards the living room. A moment later, she hurriedly returned with a glass of warm water.

Mu Shaohua took the water glass and fed Momo a few sips little by little.

After finishing her water, Momo nestled obediently in Mu Shaohua's arms, her eyelids growing heavier and heavier until she gradually closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Mu Shaohua gently placed Momo back on the bed and carefully covered her with the blanket.

Then, together with Lu Qingzhou, they tiptoed out of the bedroom, afraid of making the slightest noise.
