I glanced at the man, pretended not to see him, and turned away.

"Where are you going?"

Zhou Chenyan caught up with me and grabbed my arm.

"I want to go home."

"You didn't go home last night."

I suddenly looked at him, "How do you know I didn't go home last night?"

"I was waiting for you downstairs at your house, but I didn't see you come back."

Only then did I realize that what he meant by waiting downstairs was my old apartment.

In other words, he didn't know the house I rented later.

"Then how did you know I was here?"

Zhou Chenyan put his hands in his pockets and said, "It doesn't seem to be difficult to investigate why you are here."

I sneered, "Yeah, for the rich and powerful Mr. Zhou, you can find out anything you want to find out, and you can do anything you want to do. No one can stop you."

Zhou Chenyan's face darkened.

I don't feel good when I look at him now. It's all because of him that Zhou Zhizi keeps chasing me and causing trouble for me endlessly.

"I haven't offended you, have I?"

He questioned, frowning.

I looked coldly at his hand that was holding my wrist: "You are offending me now."

"I wouldn't have done this if you hadn't left as soon as you saw me."

Having said that, he still let go.

"What exactly are you going to do?" I asked.

He simply adjusted his cuffs and looked at me with deep eyes. "Have you encountered anything recently?"

"What do you mean?"

"Life, work."

"No."

"You're lying."

I suppressed my impatience and said, "Whether I'm in trouble or not, it seems to have nothing to do with you."

Zhou Chenyan frowned, "Why do you always reject me so much? If you encounter any trouble, tell me and I can help you."

"Will you help me for nothing?"

He smiled, "Of course not. You know if I can help you, there's always a price to pay, and there's always some benefit for me."

"What benefit do you want?"

"You know what I want." He looked at me with burning eyes.

I gritted my teeth and said, "I don't want to give it to you."

He frowned, looking puzzled. "Do you hate me so much now? You won't even give me a chance."

"How many times do you want me to say it?" I glanced at the time on my watch. It was already 9:00, and there was not much time left before the deadline given by the other party.

I turned around and was about to leave.

Zhou Chenyan grabbed my wrist and asked, "Where are you going?"

"Run for your life."

"Run for your life? Someone's chasing you?"

"Almost." I wanted to pull my hand back impatiently. Time was running out and I didn't want to waste any more time with him.

Zhou Chenyan blocked my way and said, "Even if you don't want to see me, you shouldn't use such a lame excuse to trick me."

"Do I need to lie to you?"

I'm not happy.

Zhou Chenyan looked at me with his deep eyes, as if judging the truth in my words.

"Are you telling the truth?"

"Of course it's true, and this hunt against me was all thanks to your sister. Seriously speaking, I don't want to see either of you right now."

Zhou Chenyan tightly grasped my wrist and said, "This matter is not up to you."

I was disgusted by his constant pestering.

She grabbed his wrist, brought it to her lips, and bit it hard.

Zhou Chenyan groaned, but the fingers gripping my wrist tightened even more, his voice hoarse, "Do you think you can make me let go like this?"

I bit so hard that my teeth sank into flesh and I tasted blood.

But he still refused to let go.

"You lunatic!"

In the end, I let him go first.

After all, it's not pleasant to have a mouth full of blood.

Zhou Chenyan glanced at his bloody wrist, raised his lips slightly, and a hint of madness appeared in his eyes: "I thought you knew it a long time ago."

"Let me go!"

He took one look at me and picked me up.

Zhou Chenyan said coldly, "I have something to tell you. Come in the car with me first."

But how could he listen to my refusal? He threw me into the car without saying anything. Once the door was locked, I naturally couldn't escape.

"You are really ill! I advise you to go to the hospital as soon as possible."

"Care about me?"

I was so angry that I laughed, "Yes, I care about you, I care about you very, very much!"

I really want to know when he died.

Zhou Chenyan said calmly, "If you want to know when I will die, there's no need to worry. I won't die before you die."

"Stop cursing me!"

"Don't worry, I will live a long life, and so will you."

I didn't care about his so-called blessing. I glared at him fiercely and asked, "What do you want to say?"

"My mother's birthday is in two days, and I'd like to invite you to come back and celebrate with us."

"Is that how you invited me?"

They carried me directly into the car and said it was a treat. This is basically kidnapping!

Zhou Chenyan rubbed his forehead, feeling helpless.

"If you could talk to me nicely and listen to me quietly, I wouldn't use this method to deal with you."

"In the end, it's all my fault."

It's really ridiculous.
